Namaskar Thali isn’t just another Indian restaurant for many reasons. 1: It is born out of passion to serve homestyle food. They serve what they eat themselves. It is owned by an Indian husband and her Indian food loving Indonesian wife. Both of them are chefs who’re crazy about making great food and evolving their own palettes. 2: It breaks away from the typical Indian restaurant style cooking format where the nutrition gets compromised for visual relief and taste. They make good looking healthy Indian food. You will never feel unwell. 3: They’re crazy about sourcing the best ingredients which is difficult in Indonesia especially in Bali when it comes to Indian ingredients. Yet, since the don’t like the paneer available in the market, the make it from scratch. Such is the obsession to give the best. 4: You will feel at home here. Not just the chef couple is warm, accommodating and always smiling, the rest of the staff is also very sweet. Indonesian hospitality is anyways world class and you will feel that sitting here. 5: I’ve lived in Bali for long and tried almost all the Indian food options available. Some are decent to be honest. But when I’m missing home and want a meal that satisfies like no other food, I come here. During busy or bad weeks, I’ll come twice a week. They’ve survived the pandemic which was tough. But now, I think it’s time they were rewarded for the talent they have. If you’re in Bali and you want Indian food, you must visit them. It is an experience and not just a meal.

I've ridden my bicycle past here many times now, always thinking "I should try it." Then a friend told me "The Thali's are amazing.' Tonight I noticed them on Google Maps and saw they have 90 five star reviews, and 1 four star review. Now I can confirm that this place is excellent and the food is as good as any Indian food I have ever eaten. Lots of variety in the Thali with a couple of different breads, chutneys and yoghurt to try. The array of food beautifully presented and generous portions. The bill for 2 people 200,000. That's around $20 for my Australian friends, and an absolute bargain. Well done to everyone at Namaskar and thanks for the lovely meal.

One of the best Indian pure vegetarian food available in Bali. Namaskar thali has great taste, and great variety, very clean and hygienic. The founders ( Mr. and Mrs. Rohit) provide top-class service to their customers. One of the good things is they have Jain food available and it's amazing. They have a thali system plus a la carte as well. We actually ate all the time at their place during our stay in Bali. They are located in Seminyak. Food is awesome We had a birthday celebration during our trip and Mr. Rohit and his wife helped us in arranging a cake for us too. Even though they don't sell cakes, his wife arranged it for us. Such a great gesture. Very nice people and food Highly recommended!

Food 3.5* Staff 4* Location 4* Ambience 4* Clean and hygiene 5* One good thing about this restaurant, they do not charge any kind of extra tax and service charge. We ordered one big thali and one mini thali. You can try it out one time. Portions were bit less. Thali does not kill you appetite. Raita was way too less. Chapati tasted reheated not frehsly prepared. Poori, Aloo mutter was okayish. Palak paneer, daal and sweet was good. The food is prepared by local people, I don't feel there is Indian chef.

INDIAN REVIEW: VEG - Rp 300k-500k for 2. By far, the best Indian food we had in Seminyak, Bali. It beats Queen's Tandoor, Kailash Parbat and Shiv Sagar. We visited multiple times and hence ordered almost every main course on the menu. We've had Chaat Papadi, Samosa, Pav Bhaji, Thali, Dal Tadka, Dal Makhni, Kadai Paneer, Naans, Rice and Puri sabji. The food tastes perfectly Indian. The portions are appropriate. Not recommended for guys only parties.

Absolutely loved this place! If you are looking for simple, close to home cooked food, please go here without any second thought! We had both the versions of Thalis and oh my god it was super yummy! With the variety of condiments served with the thali, it's just too good! The staff is accommodating with customization and service is great! They also offer Dosas and uttapams which we did not try.

We were in Bali for a week and explored a number of restaurants there of different cuisines. When we wanted to try Indian cuisine, there were number of options shown online. But for some reason this one clicked and we went there to try it out which turned out to be best for us. Its owned by an Indian guy Rohit and his Indonesian wife. This used to be a small place, but the owners have moved in to this bigger place just a month back. Its a pure vegetarian restaurant. Instead of keeping a very big menu, Rohit has carefully designed a small menu and has paid good attention to the taste of each item on it. Both Rohit and his wife are very freindly and welcoming. We talked at length with them listening to their struggle of setting up this place and their passion to give authentic taste to their customers. Their entire staff is also very friendly and cooperating. We truly felt at home while at this place. We even saw some customers who went to this place for the whole week of their stay in Bali. Though there are many more Indian cuisine options in Bali (of which we tried a few), we loved this one the most. Make sure to visit this place while here and enjoy their warm hospitality as well as lip smacking food.

Love the food! It’s my first time to try Indian Food in Bali and I was mesmerized because the taste was so good and the fact that me and 2 of my friends are the only locals there make it clear that the food is really authentic.

Reached this place after I saw the rating of 4.9 and boy this place didn’t disappoint us at all. Thali was sumptuous, ordered both puri & roti. It tasted good, freshly made (took a while for our order to arrive as we reached there during off peak hours 4:30 or so). Highly recommended for those who are missing homemade food after eating all those heavy meal.

Wonderful experience. They are doing God's work out "Punya ka kaam" in Hindi. Finally found a place with good Indian, pure vegetarian food in Bali. We were here for almost 12 days and just living on Bread and fruits. The taste was just like ghar ka khana. We ordered the THALI and it was really tasty and fulfilling. Thank you so much for amazing service and delicious food.

After having some improper diets through our trip. We wanted to have a good Indian food. As we looked up to the top rated Indian restaurant, I came to know about Namaskar. We were excited, we ordered different dishes but they didn’t have a good taste to it as they are meant to be. I hope this review will reach the staff and I would recommend to serve food according to the customer’s requirements on the spice level and tastings. I personally feel the food was cooked well but it’s missing the Indian spices and the tastes. Chapathi was way worse please make it soft. Not recommended for South Indians.

Best Pure Vegetarian Restaurant in Bali with no non-veg items on the menu. We were also able to get Jain Food at the restaurant upon request. Freshly prepared Chapati or Poori option alongside a spread of delicious Veggies and Daal/Rajma/Chola was awesome. The Thali is quite reasonably priced given the number of items served by the owner. The owner/chef is from Mumbai and personally looks over the customers, menu and also tries to cater to any one-off request. Like one day, we requested for South Indian Dosa and Uttampam to be saved for us for the evening, even though it was in the afternoon menu, but the owner - Rohit - really nice fellow catered to our request

If you are craving authentic dal chawal sabzi roti, please do visit here. They have the most amazing taste. They also have Maggie here, but I would suggest not to order it. I know Maggie is one of the most craved item when you are in a foreign land, but do not order here. If you have a place where you can cook, you can buy Maggie packets from them and cook it yourself. They also have Maggie cuppa noodles, which you cna also buy.

Outstanding Vegetarian Indian Restaurant in Seminyak. We tried the veg thali (see attached pic), and each item was delightful. The ambiance is amazing, complemented by soothing Hindu prayers playing, enhancing the overall experience.

For me Namaskar is the perfect example of fine dining in Bali as a recently turned vegetarian. Might sound odd considering the space they utilize in the most efficient way or the sumptuous menu that they serve at such reasonable price. But truly it’s one of the most sumptuous dine in I’ve visited in Bali so far. If you’re a vegetarian this IS your go to place. The warmth you get every single time you visit makes the food extra delicious. Chef’s careful choice of ingredients to curating the everyday changing menu is commendable. The service by all the staff members with a genuine smile on their face is another USP for the place. A must visit for all vegetarian in Bali. Way to go.

After a whole day long trip in Hot Weather, we are hungry when we reach this restaurant. We want to go for full Thali with 2 chapathi and 2 Poori Options. 2 Side dish, Dall, Chapathi, Rice, Papad, Salad and Pickles are good taste and can't give any negative comments on the Quality, presentation. Masala tea was too good. The Service was good and it is fast enough. The Atmosphere is very nice and the interior pictures are so cool. The location is easy to find as it is on the main road itself. Strongly Suggest to visit this place as it is one of the best choice in Kutta.

Belated review. Six brown vegetarians/vegans go to restaurant. Except there’s no punchline—just the kind of joy that comes from good food. The service was warm and friendly, and had a sweet ambience. Wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking good Indian food and perhaps missing a good home cooked meal. Would definitely return.

The best Indian restaurant in the entire Bali. The food was by far the best in Bali and at par to most of the restaurants back in India. The staff is really nice, service is good and cost wise it was one of the cheapest in Bali(amongst Indian restaurants). And you will definitely like to come here again. So, in short A total Paisa wasul-Ghar ka khana with good quality and homely atmosphere. If you are a vegetarian/Indian and in Kuta, Semniyak or Legian, you should definitely go to this restaurant.

Had ordered the famous Namaskar Thali. The food was very decent BUT certainly does not deserve a restaurant rating of 4.9 Maybe my expectations had been set too high What I liked was the dal, which tasted home like as well as the lady fingers veggie The panner was too hard and rubbery and definitely deserves an improvement and the other gravy dish, which seemed like a chutney was difficult to fathom. A few suggestions the restaurant should ask for level of spiciness options as well as whether the bread should come with or without butter The halwa dessert could have been better. may be more moist and soft OVERALL, a nice meal, if you are looking just for an delivery option

We've been here a few times now, trying both the thali and the dosa and it's absolutely amazing. For us it tastes really authentic and it's the obvious place to go when we're craving Indian food. It's a small family owned restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and top of the class service.

One of THE BEST authentic Indian food experiences we’ve ever had! As soon as we walked in the whole staff was so welcoming to us. We both got vegetable thalis and it was so much food! This set meal was absolutely creative, homemade and delicious! You could tell how much care was put into everything from the chutneys, to the whole meal, to the desert! They even have biodegradable cutlery and reusable take away containers! What a thoughtful establishment! And it was very clean inside! It’s a must if you enjoy Indian food. If you don’t like it spicy you can let them know. But we loved how spicy our food was! 10 stars!
