We visited the Bali zoo with our 7yo twin boys to do the Breakfast with Orangutans. The zoo arranged for a pick up from our hotel in Kuta. From the photos, we expected it to be a one to one interaction. However, this was more like a buffet breakfast with an opportunity to get clicked with Orangutans. Not really what we had in mind. The staff was very warm and they ensured they prepared pure vegetarian food for us,as per our request. On the same trip, we had previously visited the Singapore zoo. So the only purpose or attraction was this interaction with Orangutans. However, the host was a nice guy and we could interact with an elephant, a few birds and a few other animals. We could also see tigers and some other animals that we couldn't in the Singapore zoo. The place is very well maintained and you are welcomed by a few deers and kangaroos right at the entrance, out in the open. You can feed them. Nice place to visit with the kids. But better things to do in Bali, if you are not accompanied by kids.

Big zoo with loads of animals to see. The elephants are a real treat and to treat yourself, albeit by spending extra cash, you can wash and ride the elephants too. Even has a water park for kids too which is amazing

The entry cost for foreigners is fairly high (around 400k IDR) but you can see a big variety of animals up close. Additionally you can use the free shuttle and watch daily animal presentations. the zoo keepers are very friendly as well.

One of the place to visit in Bali especially for family vacation and introduce local animals to kids. The registration process is swift due to pre-buying ticket via online. We visited on weekdays and turns out not too crowded. There are some shows i.e. bird show that can be enjoyed while relaxing our feet.

It has water fall from a big bucket, some water slides and water umbrellas. Nice place for kids spend their time.

Good place with very close encounter to animals

The thematic zoo looks like story when you coming here. But a few tourist due pandemic. Hope will be recovery soon.

It was very disappointing for me to photograph the front of the Suku Eat & Drinks billboard and feel humiliated by the female employee guarding the stand in front of the Suku Eat & Drinks stand who deliberately imitated my photo style. I hope that the management of Suku Eat & Drinks can evaluate its employees with good manners and ethics towards visitors/customers if Tribe Cafe really has clear company management...

Beautifully maintained and so clean. My only suggestion would be that it could be better signposted to get around. Well worth the visit.

Sumatra resto so awful, one hour for coocking and food serve cold. Never cameback.

For kids to play in water while visit the zoo. Clean pool, well maintenance, but need major refurbishment.

I visited the place on Friday morning. Hope everything will be recovery soon so, people will enjoy swimming and playing here✌🏻

It's a great place if you want to see animals. A great variety of animals there and the place is well arranged. It's just the food and drinks a little bit expensive for locals.
