Every weekend, in the morning I start walking from this beach to the west to Batu Bolong beach and then back again. The fresh morning air is complemented by a beautiful Blue sea view that fills the morning of everyone who is active on this beach, ranging from breadwinners, dog herders, people who run in the morning. There are several cafes and local warungs dotting the beach, some of which have opened to sell their breakfast menus.

Beautiful place to visit, epic view, and interesting way of planting rice in stairs method watering , ticket is cheap and you can walk all the way down and take some photos in multiple locations, highly recommended place to visit for sure

Nice beach, a lot quieter than Seminyak, Legion etc. Great for early morning walks followed by coffee. Great place to watch the sunset. Some nice Warungs on the beach front. I like Warung Pantai.

The best beach in the area so far. Always visit this beach when im in Bali. All local food so cheap comparing to other beaches around it, clean, and perfect sunset to watch, parking motorbike only 2k,corn only 15k,and coconut 20k. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

We went to our local beach early in the morning and heading North West from the car park, I was surprised to see so much debris, rubbish, etc. that has piled up. Previous visits were nothing like what I saw early December. Will take a lot of clean up work but it is still a lovely beach. To the south east where there are some restaurants it was much cleaner.

This local beach to us and walking distance from our house. This beach used to be very quiet and dirty but once they cleared up, it became a nice beach and many beach cafes and warung started booming offering a place to hang out whilst enjoying sunset drinks with beautiful sunset view.

To the Gays: This is not a gay beach, or it is no longer a gay beach. Despite the various gay travel blogs that claim Batu Belig Beach is the gay beach of Bali, that’s old information. There’s no rainbow flag marking an LGBT section and no bar/cafe/restaurant as the center piece of a gay area. It’s a deserted stretch of beach with one lounging rental “business” that serves drinks from a cart (no bar or restaurant). You can rent chair and umbrella and buy drinks from their cart. That’s it as far as the beach has to offer in terms of accommodations. That said, Mary’s Beach Club is next to it and it is really nice. Find it on Google (or just look behind the scrappy beach lounging area with the cart). Other reviews said Double Six Beach is a mixed beach that particularly attract LGBT. I didn’t read any of that in the Google reviews. Two stars given because it is easy access to Mary’s Beach Club from here and only a 5 minute walk to W Hotel pool and day club.

No shower or sink to wash off sand. Pitty. Pretty dirty as other beaches in the area.

Beach was near the place i stayed, had a great scenery, fairly cheap cost if you are worried about hawkers. rec to just chill for a drink or if you are staying within 10-20min distance, worth the view, also free entry! (not counting parking)
