BE CAREFUL. Don't stay there at all. My computer has been stolen in my room when I was away. Happened to the client next door too. One day before I check out. The staff forgot to hide the key of the rooms and one of the "fake client" opened the door and stole my laptop. He did the same with the room next door (laptop, cash, earphones, etc.) The thief knew exactly what to do and when we were away. Owner never took responsibility of anything after saying he will reimburse the lost. I lost more than $2000 + all my personal photos. Owner never tried to help. He is not replying to my calls. I haven't received any compensation so far. Be very careful with this place. Very noisy area and not safe street. However the cleaning lady is a lovely person. The owner is taking advantage of her with a very low salary and blaming her to be responsible of the situation. I hope she will find another job. All the information has shared with local/expat community. AGAIN DONT STAY THERE.

Most beautiful staff, felt so safe and at home here. Everywhere was so clean and the beds were big and comfortable. The pool was very nice, a great hostel if you’re looking to chill and relax. Would 100% stay again, thank you for a lovely stay 😊

I did the surf package for 7 days here and had a blast. It's in a quieter area of canggu but you can quickly get to the busy streets in minutes. Staff is amazing. Facility is new and clean. It's a great place to relax and meet new people - definitely not a party vibe but a group of us went out a few times and had a blast. I was able to talk to a bunch of people and get them to join us in a group to go do things but the one thing I'd recommend is the staff plan some activities other than surfing to get people together.

Super clean hostel! Feels more like a villa than an actual hostel. They offer surf classes, brekkie, the pool is clean & easy coworking. Would definitely come again.

Absolutely nothing nearly negative to say about this place! Stayed there for 8 days was scared because its my first solo trip. I felt like i went home everyone is so welcoming, amazing surf lesson, people, super clean, great food, super rooms! Also great if you want to work remotely

Vasudha is a wonderful hostel, bright and clean, with a wonderful pool (my double room opened straight to the pool for swims before breakfast and any time). I loved the food that the staff prepared in the kitchen--avocado toast, breakfast burritos, and more, and their policy of free coffee any time (and free drinking water) was excellent. Vasudha also offers surf lessons ($45 USD for a fine morning), and the teachers were excellent. My teacher was Sunny, who also leads after-the-surf video discussions to show all of us what we could improve on. The whole Vasudha team was excellent--Cynthia, Mira, Charlie, Setya, and more. When time arrived for me to travel on to the Gili Islands, for ex., Cynthia did all the arranging of tickets for a fast boat. In Canggu (or anywhere) it would be hard to improve on Vasudha.

Vasudha was an incredible place to base yourself in canggu, not too close to be in amongst the crowds but not so far you have to trek miles into town. The staff are absolutely amazing and so much fun to get to know as well as there being a great mix of long term remote workers and short term travellers in the hostel. Super clean and cosy felt like a home away from home will be coming back for sure.

We loved our stay at the Vasudha Hostel. The place is very chill and quiet, perfect to recover from the jet lag. We stayed in the private room and then the 8 bed dorm. The private room was lovely, very clean and with direct access to the pool. The beds at the dorm were super comfy too, with curtains to give you privacy and not too noisy! For me the highlight of my stay there was the staff. They were all super nice and always happy to help. Special mention to Setya who was the absolute best! I have a severe food allergy to nuts, which makes my food situation difficult here in Indonesia. She took time to print an allergy card to make the restaurants aware and even translated it for me! Thank you so so much! I’ll be back!

Great hostel in the heart of Canggu. Location is perfect. Dorm beds are big, comfortable and private. Good AC in the rooms. Really relaxed atmosphere - nice place to hangout and work or chill. Staff are great. Will be extending my stay.

The people working here are so nice and welcoming. It’s is super fresh and modern. A very calm place to stay at, close to the grocery, close to the laundry. Beds are comfortable as well. I have extended my visit here more than 3 times now.

Stayed here last year and met the Best people, the staff was the nicest as well! The breakfest is good, the pool is Nice, the rooms are clean. I’ll absolutely stay here again if I come to canggu, and I recommend the place to all of my friends.

Honestly this place is so good. Rooms are huge and really clean. Plenty of bathrooms. The entire vibe was so friendly and chilled. Staff were so nice. Couldn't fault them. They were amazing. I loved it here. Will be back next time I'm in bali.

My favourite hostel in Canggu. Vasudha has everything I look for in a hostel. It’s clean, it’s social, it has strong Wi-Fi and the beds are comfortable. The dorms are en-suite, each bed has a curtain, plug and light. Every time I stay here I want to come back, I can’t recommend enough!

THE BEST EXPERIENCE I’m a 35 yo, female entrepreneur travelling solo from London. I never stayed in hostels, always hotels, but travelling solo for 6 weeks I thought I would give it a try to meet people. In my first week I stayed in another hostel around the corner, it was clean but they played music all day long until really late. On my second week I went to ubud to a hotel, and I booked 5 days in Vasudha for my return to Canggu. I am so happy to say that this is the best place for solo travellers who like their sleep and early nights and meting ppl at the same time. I also use this as my base between travels because they let me leave my bag there safe. Staff has become my family, they help with a big smile anytime, I feel so safe here and they go far beyond their job description. The whole building is very clean, they clean everyday. Bathroom and rooms are minimal and new, doors are thick and security lockers are fantastic too. Beds are double beds so you have plenty of space inside your pod, and even if the lights are turned on, the curtains black out your pod. Sheets, pillows and mattresses are very clean too. And others respect noise in the dorms. I stayed sharing with other 9 people and it was so good for 8 days out of 10. I felt a bit unwell for two nights and someone wasn’t very careful about opening and closing doors in my dorm and I got annoyed but nothing to do with others or the place, I was just feeling unwell and more sensitive, and didn’t have my earplugs. But honestly, I would look forward to getting into bed, and in the other hostel I wasn’t looking forward to bed time. I thought the air on was too strong at first, but actually the curtains are so good that they even don’t let the air on in your pod. And you can also turn down the temperature if needed. They have 2 more dorms with 8 and 4 ppl total for those who want even more quiet nights :) and 2 private rooms. For working remotely is fantastic, fast wifi, good environment, and other people also doing remote work or studying. I’ve met a few very good friends too, including the staff. It’s close to everywhere, and quiet. There’s some work going on next door that has made noise sometimes during the day but I e been mostly out during the day anyway so I’ve been ok with it. There’s a cat in the building who will give you much love and will hunt and eat the larger mosquitos. Thank you so much Mira, Ria, Setya, Intan Sari, Kadek Tini and Adi for all your smiles, support and disposition to help at all times. You’ve made my stay a wonderful one and I will definitely come back here because of this. Recap: if I came back to Bali for a couple of months, I would book in here to live here for most of the time, I met a girl who said the same thing.

Good location in Canggu, close to shops and laundry places. Good value for money. The staff are lovely, if you need extra blankets or pillows they will provide them. Also has a lovely pool and sunbed area.

Brand new modern design hostel, quiet area but pretty close to everything in Canggu. Ricefield nearby expect to jog in the morning with a view! Recomended!

i’ve been travelling around Bali for a month and this is one of the cleanest hostel where I’ve been and also they have hot showers which apparently is a little bit complicated to get in bali. Nice place, nice people met and also nice staff!!

Where to begin.. if I have to sum it up, awesome experience! So Im solo traveler and stay for 1 night. The rooms and the toilets were always clean and generally taken care of frequently. Each bed has a curtain (which for me is a huge plus), 1 plugs and a bed light. In the rooms there are also lockers where you can store your stuff. The staff was very friendly and helpful for anything you might need for your stay. Omg i really feel the warmest from the staff! They are all a bunch of happy, friendly and warm hearted, with whom we always had some fun and nice conversations in the outdoors area. I totally recommend this hostel and for sure stay again in my next visit to Bali. Cheers ✌🏽

The location is near Batubolong beach around 6-7 min by motorbike. The hostel is clean and new, the bed is quite big and comfy. There are lockers for your important staff. The most important when stayed at the hostel is not only quiet room but also clean bathroom This share bathroom is big and very clean. Quiet hostel, nice for relaxing. The staff is amazing, very kind and helpfull.
