Nice and bit wild beach in Tropea surroundings. Few cliffs around which you can see Mediterranean fish varieties sometimes including small murenas. The paid parking is possible on the street next to the beach. You should take into account quite high location which required pretty long way down and up (5-10 minutes).

Don't let the steps discourage you from going to this amazing beach!! The staircase has long stairs which makes it easier to walk. Take your time because it is totally worth it. The water is crystal clear. We didn't have a chair but we put our towels up against a rock and leaned on the rocks. There is some shade which I loved. Bring Beach shoes for the water as it is rocky. The water is crystal clear and beautiful!!!! September was perfect because they were hardly any people on the beach. Super quiet and relaxing.

Incredible clear water very clean and warm. Not crowded at all with easy parking. Only negative is climbing down 200 plus steps!

one if not the most beautiful beaches I ever seen in my life. Breathtaking, turquoise waters and white sand. There are lots of stairs to get there but its well worth it.

Lovely beach and certainly worth a visit. The feeling of being secluded and the crystal clear waters made for the perfect atmosphere we were looking for. Only thing to note is you need to pay for parking and there are no meters. We received a parking fine and our B&B host in Tropea explained we needed to visit a Tabachi to buy a parking ticket. We didn't see one coming to the beach but make sure you do.

Beautiful beach. Not overcrowded when we went. Water is gorgeous and away from the masses of people in tropea itself. Easily spent the whole day here

Amazing beach in Parghelia. One of the most beautiful in Calabria

Clean, transparent sea, white sand, rocks. You have to walk 5 minutes from the car park to the beach. Wonderful place for snorkeling

Beautiful beach, best beach in and around parghelia. Unspoilt, uncrowded, and if you get there early you can literally be the only one on the beach. Rocks dotted throughout the sea great place to go scuba diving. Clean sea and beach. Only bad part is the 220 or so steps you have to take get up and down to the beach, and limited shady areas. Very much recommend!

I agree with most of the reviewers but I will say that while this beach has an incredible eye candy wow factor, the water is not nearly as clean as it is in Tropea. I noticed far more algae growing on the rocks when I was snorkeling. I didn't see the same abundance of fish, or variety. So I will say that on some level from an environmental perspective the ecosystem appears to be degraded. The beach has nice sand. It's a long way down the stairs and even longer back up again. Due to the heat from the Cerberus system I really struggled getting back up the hill. I'm in pretty good shape for a 62 year old man and I nearly fell out. Incredible views of the sea from the stairway. Be careful and enjoy.

Very nice place you dont want to miss. Some good drawings or photoshooting can take place in this area. Love it.

This beach is amazingly beautiful!!! The beach is rocky, quite small, with a gravel-like pebble, and the sea water is crystal clear and shades of blue and green! You have to climb a few stairs to get there, but that didn't bother anyone, because we enjoyed the scenery and took photos with every breath we took. There are no umbrellas or sunbeds to rent down on the beach, and we were the only strangers apart from the locals.

Amazing beauty. Hidden little beach at the base of some steep cliffs. You can see active volcanic island Stromboli in the distance. There is a resort at the top of the cliff, but anyone can access the beach. Be prepared to climb some steps!

Beautiful beach, crystal clean sea water. Only question is find the place on the beach - there are a lot of people. Located under a rock, be careful with children, the walk to the beach is longer :-)

Wonderful clean public beach. Bring towels, umbrella and chairs. There are no rentals. Beach is free.

Beautiful beach, to reach with 210 steps but it’s doable, cause the steps are long and smooth. The beach is a free wild beach, so you need to bring your own umbrella, towels, food and drinks. There aren’t any bathrooms or bar. It’s very beautiful beach, crystal water and lots of nature and rocks. It just too busy in August!

Truly a beautiful beach. No private idiotery. I was send of a beach near Tropea. Crazy. Beaches are free for everyone.
