One of, if not the largest shopping on the Northen corridor of Perth. Has developed from a small center many years ago so the layout is a little hap-hazard - this is offset by easy maps and helpful staff - the cleaning staff are great for directions. thank you to the nice Cleaner who helped me the other day when I didn't have my glasses.

The myriad of stores and vibrancy of Westfield rivals the top end shopping experiences of London Paris and Hollywood Boulevard without the hefty price tags ..There is plenty of parking .food and entertainment too and it's a great place to grab a seat and have a chat with friends and family.

Title: Unfortunate Experience at the Food Court: Safety and Noise Concerns Review: My recent visit to the food court left me disappointed and concerned due to several issues that I encountered. First and foremost, there was a constant and annoying sound blasting across the food court, which significantly affected the overall dining experience. Moreover, what made matters worse was the lack of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) being used by the operator, who repeatedly put his head in harm's way. Let's delve into these concerns and discuss reasonable reasons for such unfortunate circumstances. 1. Disturbing Noise: The relentless and bothersome sound that reverberated throughout the food court was incredibly frustrating. It not only disrupted conversations but also made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful meal. Although the exact cause of the noise was not apparent, it would have been beneficial if the management had taken appropriate measures to investigate and resolve this issue promptly. 2. Lack of Proper PPE: Equally concerning was the operator's disregard for personal safety. It was disheartening to witness them repeatedly putting their head in harm's way without utilizing adequate personal protective equipment. Whether it was due to negligence or lack of awareness, this situation raised valid concerns about the operator's safety and the potential risks involved. Reasonable Reasons: While the aforementioned issues are undoubtedly problematic, it's essential to consider potential reasons behind them: 1. Technical Malfunction: The persistent noise could be a result of an unforeseen technical malfunction. It is possible that the management was unaware of the issue or faced difficulties in resolving it promptly. In such cases, it would be reasonable to expect a formal apology from the establishment along with an assurance that steps will be taken to rectify the situation. 2. Training and Oversight: The operator's failure to use proper PPE may be attributed to a lack of training or oversight. Perhaps they were not adequately educated on safety protocols or were unaware of the risks involved. It would be reasonable to expect the management to address this issue by providing additional training and enforcing strict safety measures to prevent future incidents. In conclusion, my experience at the food court was marred by a persistent, irritating noise and the operator's disregard for personal safety. While these concerns are certainly valid, it is essential to consider potential reasons behind them, such as technical malfunctions or inadequate training. Nevertheless, it is crucial for the management to address these issues promptly, offer apologies, and take appropriate measures to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all customers.

Enjoyed my first visit in a long time to Westfield Whitford City. Plenty of room to move around and floors were not too slippery which I have problems with at a few places. Lots of nice Christmas goodies in a good variety of shops. Also a few places to choose from to eat.

Do not miss the Japanese restaurant across to Woolworths. It’s amazingly good . We had lunch every day there and it was just amazing.

My favourite Westfield so far. It's not enormous but big enough to have everything I need/want with excellent restaurant options, too. There's a great Yum Cha place in the restaurant area, and I highly recommend it.

Been coming here since I was very young, and have seen it evolve in a significant way. I have noticed parking is a bit difficult during peak evening/afternoon times. Is equipped with virtually every private enterprise one could think of. The plaza precinct is the highlight! A multistorey car park would add a lot of value. It has to be said the mini-two-stand-bus-station is mighty convenient.

The new Beach themed playground is really nice and great for kids crawling to running around. Soft durable floor with a slide, multiple levels of play and semi enclosed. Great seating and next to a Cafe too.

Moved next to Whitfords shopping center 4 years ago and we love it 🥰 not too big not too small. Great atmosphere. Have everything you need! Love it . The new playground area next to the food court is amazing ! And the security staffs and receptionists have always been helpfull !

The play area in the food court is much too noisy for other patrons except those whose children are playing. To obtain service at McDonald’s or the other service providers it has now become extremely difficult to hear and be heard. The play area should not have been placed in the current position or should have some sound proofing installed accordingly.

Love that there’s a new playground for the kids in the food court the kids love it! Two things I have concerns for, the first one being that the playground is a bit too close to the bench seat and a lot of kids have come flying off the slide or playground and hit their heads/ faces on the bench. The second concern is the beige step at the bottom being hard to see, I was looking ahead and being that it’s blending in I tripped over it and I’ve since seen other people do the same thing. But I love the idea of a playground in here! Thanks

Not too bad apart from the diesel engines left running near the entrance to the shopping centre spewing life shortening fumes and particulates Shopping centre is too big for those who have mobility issues. Disabled parking spots taken by those without permits annoys as well

A great shopping centre with Kmart, Big W and Woolworths as well Peter Alexander and Jamaica Blue and a fantastic Pharmacy 777. There are lots of others shops as well. It also has a nice outdoor area to take the children and play equipment area for the children to enjoy.

At sun kwong. We shared a plate for lunch. Terrible food, the Peking pork had thick batter covering scraps of meat. The sweet and sour pork was also mostly thick batter. The fried rice was just edible but we still left half of it. When we complained, we were given a curry puff each. Overcooked, dark brown and dry. We threw them away. We didn't expect to get anything for free, just pick up your game so your food is value for money. We won't eat here again. The picture shows rice and batter which has been mashed in our attempts to find some meat.

We treated ourselves to watch a movie this afternoon. The movie was in cinema #6. It was one of the smaller cinemas, but oh boy, the seats were so uncomfortable. It felt as if my backrest was broken, which caused me to have back and neck pain. Event Cinema, please check your seats or have all seats upgraded.

The food hall looks wonderful, comfy seating, finished off with lovely plants ect, job well done. Although I do wonder why Westfield decided to build a colossal of a playground in the food hall, this scream machine certainly can be heard from afar.

The centre is good but I have to say the food court is the smallest I’ve ever seen in Australia and I’ve lived in 4 different states, they really need to upgrade their food court.

Youth massive shopping centre in Perth northern suburbs. Lots of parking but is always very busy so you can struggle to find a parking spot. There is outside open area parking and also multi-story undercover parking. The shopping centre has most shopping outlet stores within the complex, Inc cafes, restaurants and a food court.

  • 2/5 Fi R. 2 years ago on Google
EDIT: after reply from centre management below. Please take ALL my feedback into account, it's written in a way that you can action it and hopefully turn the shopping centre around. I look forward to visiting again in a few weeks, and will update my review. Wow, this shopping centre has changed recently, and not for the better! Many stores have closed, and one of the anchor retailers, Target, has now become a Kmart. The feeling amongst retailers isn't great, and the pop-up shops are all kind of the same thing. Stores close their doors well before the advertised time, especially on weekends, so if you're making a special trip in make sure you factor that in! Centre management should really take a look at this, and contact the retailers as it is uninviting for customers in the centre. The outdoor food court however is fantastic. At night there are festoon lights, there is casual outdoor dining and the vibe of people there is fantastic.

Parking was excellent as I could park my car in there huge undercover carpark then there was was plenty of cheap variety shops to choose from with a beautiful lunch from Jamaica Blue Cafe and a JB Hifi to pickup some cheap DVDs it completed a fantastic day at Whitford City Shops.

My review is about Westfield Direct Whitford City. I had an extremely bad experience. I placed an online order. My order was delayed so I called Westfield Direct Whitfords where I was served by Ramon. He told me the product was in Whelshpool and was waiting on delivery. Almost a week later I called back and was served my Ramon again who said the product was still in Whelshpool and was delayed because of flooding in Melbourne. Really!? So I asked to cancel my order to which he hung up on me. I had to call Westfield Concierge to be transferred back to Westfield Direct where Ramon agreed to cancel and refund my order. Maybe this was a one off experience but I would have expected my query to be resolved in a more professional manner.

love Whitties. coles is very cool and aldi is cheap. very cool! the asian grocer is cool too but they got rid of their pink canned Ocean Bomb bubble milk tea and im sad

  • 4/5 Amir C. 1 year ago on Google
It has plenty of parking, a medium range of options, very clean. I guess the negatives are just the odd shape and the lack of huge variety and it needing an overall renovation.

Everything is good to be honest but the only thing that shopping need to be improve is the female toilet near Woolies, I’m not sure about male one but it smells really bad. Like no air ventilation or something but every time I go shop and use this toilet, I have to hold my breathe real hard. Please shopping needs to do something. It’s not recent but it’s been like this for so long.

I am used to busy westfields in Sydney. Was surpriced not to find big stores like Myer and David Jones there. A bit dissapoitnted. But it makes it less busy, and easy parking. Food court a bit poor on choises.

I'm really disappointed by the new playground. It's only suitable for really little kids, so now older children have no where at the centre to play. I don't understand why they got rid of the inclosed playground there. Whilst it would have been better suited next to a coffee shop, it was perfect in what it was. Most age groups could play in it and it was enclosed, so little kids couldn't run off. As a parent of a runner, it was great to have a place where they could pay safely without having to chase after them all the time.

It's okay. There's nothing special about Westfield Whitford City. It serves a purpose in the suburbs. It reduces the need to go into the city. There's most things you need, even entertainment if you like Hollywood propaganda. There's food, coffee, "specialty" shops (meaning they specialise in a theme). There's clothing, groceries, jewellery, alterations, all the usual stuff so you don't really need to go into the city. There's even an auto mechanic. There's a JBHiFi electronics. I personally like a place with a pleasing ambience so this isn't a place for hanging out to enjoy people watching. Fremantle is better for that. Rooftops can be quite lovely in good weather, but you won't find anything like that here. No. This is about as plain as it gets. Welcome to suburbia.

First time going there, as live south of river. Drove there, not get lost 😅. Worth going again, spent some money at the Second-hand bookshop which I was able to get some books in a series that I am reading which was great, friendly people to help you as well 😀👍. Had time to look around and parking was easy to get as well. If you haven't been, go and have a look.

Popped in without a booking for something to eat before the cinema on Saturday evening, some reservations were listed on free tables but we knew we'd be out by 7pm to go to the movies, the food and services was excellent as usual. We were reminded that the table was booked for 7pm which was fine and we made sure we left in time for the movie and ahead of the 7pm booking.

American diner type food. The shared bbq platter was tasty. Good service. You can order digitally using a barcode on the table. Highly recommend trying the aoli sauce. Very buttery and smooth.

Loved this mall. The parent room was clean, had seating and a gated area. This was the only reason we had a relaxed lunch. There is a little indoor play area again gated. And another due to be built. It's an interesting place with lots of food options.

Always have and always will love this shopping centre. Such a good variety of specialty stores, groceries, lots of fashion shops which has something for everyone. Outdoor area has lots of delicious restaurants to try. Great atmosphere 👌 👏

Love the new playground. Great to have a good play area indoors when the weathers been hot. Not just for toddlers, great for older kids with a big climbing structure up to the slide. Only downfall is the grey steps at the very bottom of the slide structure stick out and are hard to see so is a tripping hazard. I’ve tripped a couple times on them myself and have noticed others tripping also. Otherwise an excellent addition to the shopping centre .
