Food pretty good. Small and large serving options available for most dishes. Didn't see any pork on the menu. Small cosy restaurant. Good idea to book a table. Simple decor. Indoor and outdoor seating available. There is credit card surcharge. Pay parking behind restaurant.

The pricing on food here is absolutely insane! $9 for steamed rice. $30 for a small curry. These guys are modern day scammers. Extremely disappointed.

Return visit definitely warranted! The standard has been consistently high for many years. We ordered Beef Choyla, described as typical village cooking, Aloo Tama, a vegetable dish with potato, blackeyed beans and bamboo and pulao rice to share between two, all thoroughly enjoyable. Perfect pulao, every grain of rice separate, the beef tender and lemon tangy and the Aloo was both tasty and texturally interesting with the crunchy bamboo. All the dishes were interestingly spiced but not too hot, and the service was quick and friendly. Good value for money. 2017 and the standard remains consistently high. I'm a regular!

Tasty delicious food with 5 star service

What a find. We had been windsurfing on the river and were starving. Just a 2 min drive. We only had 2 mains with rice and bread and we couldn't finish it. Portions v generous. So tasty and super fresh. Will be back there again v soon.

We have enjoyed this restaurant for more than twenty years, consistently good Nepalese food.

Service was a little slow, but staff very friendly and engaging. The puris are amazing, but the dishes in the thali (both veg and non-veg) were OK (but great that the dishes in the thali have unlimited refills).

Really nice place for some Nepalese food. Definitely somewhere to go when you just need something quick but not through the roof in bills. Delicious and will be coming here for the next 40 years! 🤗

Our dinner was amazing! We didn't know what authentic Nepalese food tastes like but since our Nepalese friends brought us there, it must be pretty close to the real deal. We had a great time and the staff were very friendly in helping us accommodate our kids as well.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend and it was fantastic!! We were seated right away on a busy Sat without reservation. The set dinner menu had a great diversity of dishes and flavors. The momos and bbq chicken were so good. Loved it and would definitely recommend.

I love this place! You can tell by the regulars who have banter with the lovely owners that it is a firm favourite! The kids menu was fantastic! Lollipop chicken for the win...I may order that for myself :) really amazing service great place to meet friends!

Momos ( Nepali / Indian) dumplings are the main attraction. We have been eating there for almost ( or more than )10 years now. Quality, customer service and price are good.

Good customer service. Food was good also. The restaurant was clean. Ambience was nice. There is parking outside the restaurant. We had two Nepali thalis. I have had Nepali thali in a lot of other restaurants. My ONLY suggestion would be that they should have bigger serving size for Nepali thali. The quantity of food was small. Even though there is option to refill the food again. I think it is better to not have the refill option and perhaps decrease the price of Thali from $44 to a reasonable amount as other restaurants offer Thali near $25 mark and have bigger serving size and have no refill option. If someone is shy they might feel uneasy to ask for more food. I asked for more and got more. That is why I am NOT complaining just suggesting as they have great customer service and food was tasty also. 5 stars from me.

Went in for a late dinner and opted for the non curry options and the food was fresh and tasty. The service was good and the atmosphere was excellent - smiles on the faces of the staff is always a positive sign. Will be back to sample more of the menu 😏

This place is amazing. I am still in disbelief of the yumminess I just consumed. I ordered Bhanta Ko Takari and a serve of puri. My only experience with Nepalese food was with a couple other restaurants around town- Momo, and a couple average curries. The other Asian food I have had since moving to Attadale has been awful and generally everything is extremely watered down and flavorless to appeal to aussie taste buds. This dish in particular from Himali Gurkha blew me away and I can’t wait to make it my new local spot now.☺️ To anyone reading this, if you do not like spice please go to your local hungry jacks and stop ruining these awesome international restaurants and their reviews. Keep doing Gods work Himali Gurkha.👌🏼❤️

Please don't eat at this restaurant. The foods preparations was not up to the cleaned basic standard and the staffs are rude. The foods served are not worth with the money that you spend there. You will have to wait for a long long time before they can serve your meals. The utensils are oily and smelly.

I liked the quality of food over there. The interior was cozy, nicely decorated. Service was prompt. I also liked the fact that despite being a group of six persons, we didn't have to wait outside at all. To add to this, it didn't take long for them to serve the food after putting the order. Another thing I liked was that there was plenty of parking spaces outside the restaurant.

Loved the beef and goat we ordered. Boneless Chicken curry was too sweet hence the 4 stars. But the service is pretty nice.

Wow. We came here 15 years ago and again tonight. Damn good. We have gluten free folk in our party which was no problem. Staff were warm and the food was great. Will return.
