I
underwent
my
surgical
abortion
last
Friday
the
10th
of
November,
All
seemed
to
be
going
exceptionally
well.
I
was
treated
kindly
and
felt
comfortable
and
welcomed,
Although
it
was
a
sad
and
stressful
time
i
felt
i
was
in
a
safe
space.
However
i
wasn’t
and
am
unhappy
with
how
the
procedure
was
done
and
what
went
wrong
to
cause
this.
I
left
the
clinic
in
no
pain,
light
bleeding
was
all
and
just
disoriented
from
the
anaesthetic
but
all
seemed
to
be
fine.
I
was
told
i
would
be
discharged
with
pain
medication
to
take
home,
However
i
wasn’t.
The
same
night
i
all
of
a
sudden
started
to
get
extremely
excruciating
contractions
in
my
uterus,
Now
to
my
understanding
obviously
slight
cramping
and
discomfort
was
known
to
be
normal
after
having
this
procedure.
However
the
pain
i
experienced
was
like
no
other,
I
am
honestly
scarred
from
this
pain
and
never
want
to
go
through
a
traumatic
experience
like
that
again.
It
felt
like
my
insides
were
being
ripped
apart
over
and
over,
Contractions
type
of
feeling
but
10x
worse,
I
was
shaking
in
coldness
but
sweating,
rocking
back
and
forth,
screaming
in
pain
like
never
before.
I
called
an
ambulance
and
was
immediately
taken
to
emergency
department.
As
i
sat
there
in
pain
,
vomiting
blood,
horrible
bleeding
and
discomfort.
I
was
immediately
admitted
to
hospital
as
a
patient,
with
multiple
blood
tests,
Multiple
pain
killers
(Fentanyl,
Morphine
,
Endone
,
Codeine)
i
was
given
all
of
this
painkillers
and
nothing
helped
with
the
pain
,
I
then
had
to
have
ultrasounds
,
an
internal
ultrasound
as
the
doctors
thought
it
was
a
possibility
that
the
termination
was
unsuccessful
and
there
could
of
possibly
been
scar
tissue
left
that
was
causing
the
pain
however
nothing
was
seen
on
the
ultrasound.
I
did
multiple
other
tests
and
swabs
,
then
to
find
out
the
doctors
expressing
extreme
concern
of
the
look
of
my
uterus
and
cervix
by
having
the
internal
ultrasound
and
papsmear,
my
uterus
being
so
inflamed
and
infected
from
this
procedure.
I
was
then
diagnosed
officially
with
the
uterus
infection
called
Edometritis.
,
I
was
in
hospital
from
friday
night
(day
of
the
procedure)
till
Tuesday
morning,
On
multiple
pain
medications,
and
the
strongest
antibiotics
through
a
drip
and
cannula
in
my
arm
for
3
days
straight
In
the
worst
unbearable
pain
i’ve
ever
experienced
in
my
life.
It’s
now
been
a
week
since
the
procedure
and
i
am
still
having
bad
pains
and
issues
,
This
infection
i
was
told
by
the
doctor
that
if
i
had
stayed
at
home
and
tried
to
sleep
it
off
ect,
and
never
went
to
hospital
could
of
caused
long
term
effects
such
as
infertility.
This
isn’t
what
i
expected
from
this
procedure
at
all
and
how
i
have
been
diagnosed
with
such
a
serious
cervix
and
uterus
infection
is
beyond
me,
was
your
equipment
not
sterilised?
What
was
it.
Not
to
mention
the
fact.
no
follow
up
calls
have
been
made,
no
contact
has
been
made,
Absolutely
nothing.
And
the
fact
there
is
no
direct
number
to
call
,
other
than
the
main
one
which
you
are
on
hold
for
for
over
an
hour
is
ridiculous.
This
experience
has
quite
literally
traumatised
me
and
i
wouldn’t
wish
this
pain
or
experience
upon
anybody.
