A lovely place to be. Highly recommended as a top spot in tuscany

Amazing resort. The garden rooms are divine. Staff so helpful. A lovely pool and really quiet mid week to relax. Near monte carlo village which is a hidden treasure. Highly recommended.

First impression: beautiful room, reception and innovative architectural Hotel. The rooms have a lot of space, beautiful big shower, nice decoration. Minibar is filled with a lot of different wines. But the wines aren't good. The good wines are only available in the restaurant of the resort. Throughout the day no type of service is available in the resort, and no one is around. The breakfast was disappointing. The bread and croissants were just the kind you put in the oven. We understand that the breakfast needs to be pre-ordered. But for lunch or tea time, every little thing needs to be pre-ordered the day before. They say it's because of Covid19. But it seems that this is much easier for the staff. That's a shame. Because the hotel sells himself high in quality. This is true for the inventory, but sadly not for the service. One evening we went to the restaurant syrah(The restaurant of the resort). The dinner was delicious, except for the spaghetti with mussels. They were full of sand. I complained and the chef brought us an other dish. The wine we drank in the restaurant, was also from the buonamico vinery, the same vinery as the wines in the room. But these wines were different. They were very good and tasty! The staff was very friendly and tried to fulfill our wishes. All in all, the resort does not meet the price performance ratio.

This resort is basically a restaurant with rooms. The reception is the hostess stand at the restaurant, they are not always available and they do not help when there is a problem. The garden rooms are under the restaurant so you hear footsteps all night. The garden room has no privacy, you hear other guests. One guest had a dog that just ran around off leash into our patio and others. There was dog turn on the couch in our room. It was so hot in our room and they could not fix it. We had to sleep with the door to outside open, dogs barking all night and lots of mosquito bites. The restaurant tries too hard, the food is average and expensive. The breakfast is the bare minimum served in your room only. The spa has the bare essentials, it is very small and was very crowded when we went.

This so called resort does not even qualify for one star and should drop “amico” from its name. We booked a room on their website 10 weeks in advance. The night before our stay we receive a text message from Buonamici that they no longer have a room for us. They would not answer the phone that evening. After several calls the day of our scheduled arrival they finally answered our phone call. No apology or assistance with another booking, we were told they have only 11 rooms and too many guests! Horrible customer service. Avoid. Very rude and uncaring. Guess this is the style of post-Covid Tuscany.

Chianta who does the cellar tour was incredible! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and tasting. The accommodation was also perfect. The room was beautifully designed and decorated. 10/10 We did the set dinner and it was good but not great. We also found the service to not be up to par. Would definitely recommend Buonamico for accommodation and the cellar tour.

Nice location with pool and lange rooms. Breakfast only (!) in the room, but no chairs available... WiFi is very poor, you have to log in every 10 min.

Rebently stayed here as part of a group. Amazing throughout from the welcome, the hospitality of our hosts, to the lavishness of our rooms. My rooms patio opened out on to a vineyard, it was Tuscan perfection. We dined that evening in the restaurant and the food and wine were fantastic. The beef check was tender and tasty. Washed it all down with their wines and award winning pink sparkling Spumante. We were treated to a full tour of the vineyard and wine tasting the next afternoon. Shame we were only there for a few days I could have spent a lot longer.

Very nice wine tasting with olive oil and platter. Reasonable price €25, beautiful view of montecarlo, tour of winemaking facility. Great to learn about history of winery but don't expect to learn how to taste wine or tour of outside / vines.

Amazing rooms, great prices! Best panna cotta ever! Beautiful restaurant and swimming pool with views! In room breakfast is standard, a luxurious experience.
