The food was delicious, hot and tasty. Staff was attentive and very friendly. My taste buds were alive and dancing to the medley of dishes we ordered. Put this place on your to do list when in Lisbon. Highly recommended.

We worked with Seema to plan our wedding and Passage to India catered our two day wedding event. I have so many positive things to say about Seema and her team, I could go on forever. To focus on the restaurant, the food at Passage to India is incredible! My guests are still talking about how flavorful and delicious it was! They worked closely with us every second of the way to help us create a unique experience that tailored to our mixed Indian and Spanish cultures. Months before our wedding, they hosted both of our large families for a tasting and walked us through each dish to ensure we were getting exactly what we wanted. They also made the experience so much fun, I felt like we were having dinner with family! Every dish was made to perfection, beautifully plated and exceeded our expectations. Their ability to cater such large events while maintaining the highest quality is impressive. I would recommend Passage to India to anyone looking for catering their next event or looking for a delicious place to eat. Seema and her team will not disappoint, they are the kindest and most patient people we have met while wedding planning in Portugal and we can't wait to visit again!

Delicious! The interior of the restaurant is pleasant. (It's Indiany, but not "too" Indiany- if you know what I mean.) The employees were attentive, kind, and spoke perfect English. I meant to take a picture of my to-go food once plated up but it smelled too good and I forgot. Oops. Super tasty! 6 stars?

They are definitely the best restaurant serving Indian food. Our group was very diverse and everyone enjoyed the food. Service was friendly but a bit slow. The portions were pretty decent and they start off the meal serving pappadoms with chutneys. The taste was not authentic but I guess they have to make do with the ingredients they can get. It was a great evening and the best meal of the week for sure :)

This is still one of the best Indian restaurants in Lisbon. Their naan and butter chicken are amazing. The only thing I didn't like that much was the Gajar ka halwa.

Absolutely fine restaurant. Delicious homely food served with lots of love and care. The restaurant is aesthetically and tastefully decorated. Special mention goes to the mouth watering butter chicken. Highly recommend... don’t miss this place if you are in Lisbon and craving Indian cuisine.

Looking for a decent restaurant near my university, Yelp suggested that I should take a look at Passage to India. Me and my guests were pleased to have done so! This nice looking restaurant serves Indian dishes. The starters were really amazing. We had chickenbits, which were still moist and had fantastic flavour; and a very light and fresh dish made out of yoghurt, coriander, fresh union and crispy flakes (of which I forgotten the name of). The main dishes (we all had a curry dish) were not exceptionally, but good enough of what you might expect from an Indian restaurant. Also, the service was excellent! Very, véry friendly people and no long waiting. The only real downside I thought was the TV: the sound was off and it showed nothing of importance, so why bother putting it up there, I thought. But for the food and service, you certainly should give this a go!

A proper curry in Lisbon. Nice flavours, great breads and a taste of a UK style curry. Usually not too busy.

Highly recommended place in Lisbon for authentic Indian food. The food was delicious, service was great. We took a buffet and each and every item was mouthwatering. Mango prawns curry was the best. I was mesmerised with the ambience and the melody of indian songs running in background. Truly satisfied!!

Lovely atmosphere and attentive waiting staff. Got a starter of chicken 65 which was delicious with a good kick of spice. Unfortunately the mains were lacking flavour and my partner was told not to order the madras as it was too hot after having had it in another indian a few nights ago.

Wow Quite simply stunning. I would go as far as to say it’s the best tasting Indian food I’ve eaten on the European continent ! I live in the U.K. and it’s supposed to be a hub of Indian cuisine but no where I’ve eaten back home comes remotely close to the quality and taste of this restaurant.

We group of 50 Senior Citizens of PA, USA visited for lunch. They served good delicious lunch and everybody is satisfied with prompt and attentive services and delicious veg and non veg food. We recommend 5 star services for food and services. Anybody on tour for Portugal must visited once for Indian test veg and non veg food.

Good food. Good service. But make you pay more than 2 euros for a bottle of tap water is just totally unfair!

We went to this halal restaurant whilst visiting Lisbon. One of the best meals I've ever had! The samosa chaat was my favourite. All of the dishes tasted amazing, were cooked well and served nicely. The customer service was good too. We went on a Saturday night and it was busy so we had to wait about 30 minutes. If you can book, I'd recommend booking.
