What a place to spend the summer.. . Just love this beach . On the week days you got the beach practically all to yourself . At sunset you got the fisherman coming back to land and if you are lucky you would be going home with some fresh fish . Every time I come here it takes me back to my teenager years because nothing has changed . Even the bus that takes us all the way down that steep hill still runs every summer .

no garbage was on the beach! very nice sand, necessary shops are near by, no beach selling people, free parking. perfect!!

Beautiful and wild area, old fisher man village, when conditions are good for surfing its just paradise. Enough beach bar along the beach to have a seat and enjoy some local food by the beach, grilled fish is delicious!

Beautiful easy to get from Cacilhas. But you know some buses sometime never show up.

Very busy in July, kind of run down, partly dirty areas, one restaurant/coffee place to the next. I believe a well known area for surf schools.

Good beach, hot water, but the parking is awful. 2 or 3 hours ina queue to leave the beach.

Great place for surf lessons, calm, with some structure on the beach.

Love this beach! Has less families with kids, has lovely view on the rocky coasts, and a lot less crowded than the beaches closer to Lisbon Center.

Great summer beach in July. We took an Uber ride here. Great balance of wind and sun. In the afternoon, the water warms up enough for swimming. There is plenty of space for everyone.

You can't find much on this, so it's almost a "wild beach" - lovely to spend the afternoon

One of the best beaches in the region. There is always room for another one without having to ask permission to lay the towel. Relaxing, good food and drinks support. On week days cannot be better.

Very calm and quite large beach. It's water temperature on summer is very enjoyable and you'll be swimming por just standing there for the time you want. It has life guards along all its extension. Good for taking children because the waves are very weak, for hanging there with friends because it has a lot of bars, BUUUUT if you need something more eyecandy i definitely recommend the beaches across Sintra and Ericeira, as they hit a lot harder, but they're cold, so be prepared for that

Great view, amazing food and exceptional service.

It's beautiful but you have to go very early and still be lucky to find a parking spot. One time we went early (8:00am) and it was awesome. Next time we went a little later around 11:00. After almost 2 hours of searching we went home.. such a shame. It was really stressful because the road is not in a good shape.. loads of holes and is small.

Very nice beach, not so crouded as those in Lisbon.

White sand beach and very extensive. Crystal clear water! Framed by the fossil cliff (protected landscape) this beach is located in a fishing village where we can find several restaurants and beach facilities. Parking here can be a challenge.

Best beach with best structure in Caparica coast. Cons: hugely bad to parking

Nice on week days, a parking hell in weekends. When weather is good, it's one of the best beaches in Portugal. I like the variety of restaurants and the bus going from the main road.

Very hansome place amazing beach with kms wide. Lot of places to park, as soon as possible. 4 fishing armation to fish on arte de Xavega, starting at 18h30 till night, very fun to watch. Lots os restaurantes, be wide in your choose, fresh fish preferable.
