Please keep driving, this place is way overpriced. Our meal was $43 for two very small pitas, a small side salad, a few fries and water. When we ordered our food we ordered pitas. We were asked what sides we wanted, we did not ask for combos. When I question why our order was so much? The guy said “we ordered combos” I was shocked. I eat Mediterranean food often. I’ve never had this kind of experience. If our food was worth it. I would have happily paid the cost. I would not recommend this restaurant. I hate having to write bad reviews, hopefully I save someone the experience I just had.

Total disappointment. Wanted to treat myself with nice food from the home region. Nuh overpriced and low quality. What you see on the dish is $26 dish with rice obviously premade yesterday. Tea dirty crystal glass with cloudy concoction what did not taste like tea at all. I had to ask for a knife 3!!! Times, for bread that comes with dish 2!! Times and for other items that come with dish. What a waste of time and $$. You guys have too much potential to waste it like this.

The best mediterranean food I’ve had in years! We were a little late trying to find dinner and this place happened to be open pretty late. I was just hoping to find something decent, and this little restaurant surprised us. The place seemed to only have two guys working the whole time we were there and they ran this restaurant so very well, honestly impressive! We ordered these minty slushy lemonade drinks that were very good. I ordered the chicken and my husband ordered the lamb shawarma. We also had a couple desserts and took home some individually wrapped delights. I can’t recommend this place enough, and they obviously don’t need it because they were busy the entire time we were there (past 11pm).

This is $75 worth of food when we ordered for 6 people. Thats it, pretty sad. They also called my wife as we were running late to pay over the phone in advance. We ordered extra skewers of chicken kabobs, this is enough for 2 people not 6. So now we are cooking for our guests and this will be a side. Basically all rice, very disappointing.

First time and last time. Food was very flavorful, but the price and portion size was small. We waited over 45 minutes for our food for 2 wraps with sides and a kids meal of grilled chicken bites and fries. Small dinning room and parking was limited.

Some of the best Mediterranean food we have had! Waiter told us about the mint lemon slushees after we just ordered water and I am glad we changed our order!! We then ordered the Super Quadruple Mix Chargrilled Kabab to share and it was so fresh and delicious! Will have to come back when we come back to Fort Meyers!

Took so long for someone to take my order. The boss took it and we received the wrong side, he didn’t seem like he believed me when I said it was wrong. Took fifteen minutes to get the right side which was French fries… this was what came. I receive more fries getting a kids meal at McDonald’s. Disappointing. Overpriced for sure, and low quality. Left still quite hungry. Workers seemed nice though

We went in May 9th about 12:15 we were told the chief is on his way in and might be a few minutes. Now it's about 1pm and still no chief. Paid for our sodas and wanted to take home a baklava The nice waitress put the dessert in a bag and we left. Not happy I wanted lunch! When I got home I openned the desert and it was actually less than a 2 inch square and cost $5.00. I'm sorry I do not care how great this place is supposed to be I will never go back.

Great meal, excellent service. The meal took 7 minutes to create from scratch to delivery in front of me. It was delicious, fresh and seasoned well (not over or under seasoned) Afterwards, the hookah, blueberry and mint was put together and served with coconut coals. Great taste, and smooth draw. I sat outside and listened to traditional Arabic music while smoking and watching cars speed by on the main road. Overall, great experience.

We were in the area and stumbled upon Kebab Village and it was the best decision ever! I had the lentil soup with chicken and it was so delicious and flavorful. I'm already thinking about when I can get it next. The baklava and falafels are a must, even if you already ate pick up an order for later. I can't recommended this place enough. On top of the incredible food, our server Zo was super nice and down to earth. 1000/1000 stars!!!

The food was delicious. Other reviews mention the high price, which may be accurate, but everything is very clear on the menu and worth it in my opinion. We can’t wait to go back!

Wow!! This place is great. We got the grape leaves and labneh to start. Loved the zaatar on top of the pita. Really delicious and elevated the whole dish. I got the Nabulsi Salad, wow!!! The Falafel was so crisp and soft on the inside. Best falafel in town. And the cheese was salty and gamey. Just how goat cheese should be. Not pictured was the desert. Halva. I’m not sure what they did differently but their Halva was out of this world!! The texture and sesame combined with the honey and pistachio. I would highly recommend this place. Our food came pretty quick and service was great. My only gripe is that they didn’t have Knefe, they had sold out that morning. So if you’re looking for their Knefe be sure to call ahead to see if the chef and owner has it in stock.

Excellent food and a great waiter. Their bread is tasty and with hummus it turns into an enjoyable meal.

The food is way over priced for what you get. It's not the tastiest or the best quality. By first sight of the menu, I was stoked. The smoothie was the best part. When the meal came, it was a bit of a let down. 2 appetizers, a salad with more herbs than veggies, and a smoothie for $51. I'll keep driving next time.

Thought the food was okay. Not exciting. Just okay. Dining experience was interesting. Not a strike against it but different than expected. Lower end than expected. Hibiscus tea was excellent. Worth a visit to try once but don’t go out of your way. Asked for hummus. Was served the rice. Rice was pretty good. Didn’t ask to change because I feel really bad for how decimated the small businesses have been with this ridiculous political shutdown. Despite marginal service tipped 25%. I hope they make it. I did like the music videos running. Music appropriate to cuisine. Interesting difference from “American music videos”.

You can drive right by this restaurant and never see it. Not highly visible as you are driving. You order and pay at a counter and then seat yourself inside or on a terrace. That all said their food is authentic mid eastern and delicious although prices seem a bit high for this type of restaurant setup but the food makes up for it. It is by far the best Middle East food we have encountered so far in our travels in the Fort Meyers area.

Really an incredible find in the streets of Fort Myers. Right off the bat, our server Zo greeted us and gave us menus and the rundown of the menu. He offered us some wonderful recommendations including the hummus appetizer and the lamb schwarma wrap with the fried goat cheese which was excellent. Sadly, the wrap and hummus did not last long enough for the camera to emerge. My lovely girlfriend ordered the lentil soup and said it was wonderful- could not verify this due to a nut allergy but she's never wrong. Afterwards I ordered a side of falafel and was most certainly impressed. I'm not the end all be all judge of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food, but this place checked boxes for me that I didn't even know I needed. Arabic coffee and their special herb teas are to die for. Highly recommend! Not cheap, but good food made the right way typically shouldn't be! And well worth the experience. 10/10 Edit: Forgot to mention how sweet and attentive our server Zo was as well. It's a big menu and he did a great job of helping us navigate it while also just being a kind and well mannered part of our dining experience. Ask for his recommendations whenever you go!

Watch Out for Sneaky Pricing! I gave 5 stars to elevate this review to the top. This restaurant isn't even deserving of 0 stars. So, I ordered a couple of shawarmas straight from the restaurant's(?) website, thinking it's all good. But, surprise! There's this service fee on their site that you gotta pay. No biggie, I also threw in a tip. Now, here's where it gets shady. When I swing by the store to grab my order, I notice the prices on the menu are way cheaper than what I paid online. So, I ask the dude behind the counter and he dismissively told that, "Online prices are always higher, brother!" Like, seriously? I'm not cool with businesses jacking up prices online and acting like it's normal. It feels like they're just trying to squeeze more bucks out of us online folks. It's not right, and it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. The shawarmas were disappointingly small given their prices. I won't be recommending it to anyone after this experience. I wish I could give 0 starts to this place.

Stop and read this seriously! Don't go to this place! This is not how Middle Eastern food should taste. Under or over cooked meat, wrong spices very awful food, dirty place and bad atmosphere, same person waiting, cooking and cashing, prices insane high and lastly hookah was terrible. Hope this review will not be spammed

First time trying this restaurant and we are hooked!!! We went with the recommended dish Shish chicken Kabab, very flavorful. And the Samakfish salad was amazing. The lemon mint smoothie was refreshing. The food was made fresh and the manager along with the server were friendly, made our experience pleasant and enjoyable.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Best hummus I've EVER had!!! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing. Great presentaion! This is not a fast food establishment so leave yourself some time after you order to enjoy the atmosphere and company until your meal can be prepared fresh. Great little patio to hang out and get Turkish coffee and pass the hookah with friends. Will definitely be back soon!

Ordered a couple kebab platters for 4 and we had plenty left over. Loved the tenderness and seasoning of the meat. The sauces were on point, no complaints!

  • 3/5 Marc L. 10 months ago on Google
Very high prices for small portions on mediocre Arab/Mediterranean cuisine. I paid over $20-25 dollars a plate for grilled chicken, rice and a small Mediterranean salad. For the portions, it should have been half of that. The atmosphere was nice, but they lacked wait staff. 3 employees were all behind the counter cooking and prepping.

There is so much potential to be better for this place. First the restaurant is in terrible shape. This may have been decor from the 90s but middle eastern places all over have streamlined and lightened up the look and decor not to mention a good cleaning is over due! The restaurant and outside are dirty cluttered and uncomfortable. The staff is nice friendly and respectful but the surroundings stand out more than the kindness of the staff. Food is tasty but very small quantities compared to most other Middle Eastern restaurants. $36 for a very small grill platter is overpriced. It is the only middle eastern in the area so they do get plenty of customers but I would ask the ownership to please visit some other middle eastern places and update kabob village! It can be so much better!

I've been wanting to try Turkish Coffee since I found out it was a thing. Hands down the best coffee I have ever consumed! (And I've had some unique delicious coffee, let me tell you) The food was excellent too! ...and I love "spicy" 🔥 when they tell you their sauce is spicy (if you order the spicy sauce of course) they are not kidding! But in a good way. Great flavor, great heat, and a perfect mix to go with the Turkish Coffee! Love the outdoor shaded booths, everybody is friendly, and I'll be coming back often! 10/10 would recommend.

I had a bad experience a while ago(not food related) in this place, so I decided after a couple years to try it again. And I have to say it was amazing! I come from a place in Latin America where there’s a big Arabic community, so my standards are high and I have to admit that it made me feel like I was home. I had the best shawarma sandwich I’ve had in this area, and the Turkish coffee was also amazing. Definitely coming back here at least every two weeks, maybe once a week for the coffee. Great job!

Avoid, place was dead, service was like I’m somewhere in the desert and was asking for last bottle of water, hostile guy behind the counter. Waited 40 mins, when no one was there. Dirty, no one waited us had to order at the register. Rude and unprofessional.

I’ve been eating at Kabab Village over the last 5 years and I just realised I’ve never written a review about a place we frequent pretty much every other week. This without doubt is one of the best and authentic Mediterranean restaurants in the area. We love their Shawarma wrap, Kabob wrap, falafel, hummus, baba ganoush and pita. Their pita’s are thin and soft. The quantity is quite good and totally worth the money. They have quite a few drink and dessert options too. The place is small but the flavours are bang on! Definitely give it a visit.

You absolutely must try the coffee shake! It was served in a coffee cup smothered in caramel sauce and garnish with a date on the side. Not too strong of a coffee flavor but not overwhelmingly sweet either. It was perfect!

  • 5/5 David G. 3 years ago on Google
WOW!! That's the best word to describe this place. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, and the staff was on point! The main guy there, Aladdin, was awesome with recommendations on food and drinks, and was a hoot as well -- as he made everyone who walked in the door feel welcome. We loved his humor as well, and we felt more 'at home' at this restaurant than we've felt in a long time -- Aladdin was great with the kids and took the time to make them feel just as welcome as all the other guests. What an outstanding experience! Not only that, but the restaurant is open LATE (unlike everything else that seems to close between 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM). This restaurant is on our short list and we will return every time we're in the area. LOVE the food, the service... everything!

I hesitate to even get this one star. Truly truly disappointed. I hadn't been there in years. The chicken shawarma sandwich was absolutely terrible. not sliced off the Spit. I don't know where they pulled that chicken from but it was tasteless and cold and the sandwich had no other kind of seasoning on it. A sad day for Middle Eastern food.

  • 1/5 Stewart A. 3 years ago on Google
1st time there, and the last. To say it was slow would be an understatement. It was dirty, spiders and spider webs were above our head. My shish kabob was somewhat tasty but very tough and it was very overpriced. We're originally from the Detroit area where there are many fine Mediterranean restaurants but this is definitely not one.

  • 5/5 Rakesh B. 3 years ago on Google
Absolutely fantastic and very authentic. Food made fresh. The Turkish coffee and the desserts are fantastic. Not to forget the frozen lemonade with mint

Can't tell you about the food, but absolutely the worse service that I have encountered in recent memory. The restaurant had 4 other customers sitting at a single table. We were seated by the employee. After about 15 minutes the waiter came to the table and asked if we would like something to drink. We said yes and placed our food order at the same time. Another 30 minute went by without seeing the waiter again. We left.

One of the best places to eat for Mediterranean foods well as classic halal. I was missing NYC and wanted a falafel, but ordered something different when I saw the huge selection. Lovely food and a great guy working there. Remember to try the Turkish Coffee. Best I ever had.

We came to this restaurant hoping to have good food. I ordered the Jerusalem salad and mix Kabob. I saw the salad and didn’t touch it. It was really poorly made and presented. I can tell I could not cut the meat kabob the fork bent. The cook saw that and offered chicken. I turned it down because it was really tasteless. I didn’t eat it he still charged me but have 60 percent discount. Very nice! Thé hammus is the worst. Omg I’m from Arabia and this restaurant sucks at it. The guy was understanding he still offered the chicken but we said no. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all.

There was slow service on the day I dined due to a lot of rush which meant many of their items were also sold out. The Falafel Sandwich was good but less quantity wise. For $8 I expected it to be packed in a bit more . Overall taste was good
