👍👍 Nice little lake with a well maintained trail around it. The trail was only about 2.3 miles, but a few well placed benches to sit and think about life People often mention trail, lake, beautiful, hike,

Very beautiful smaller lake for dock or shore fishing! Saw a some people getting a few bites. Quiet and peaceful, there's a walking path around the lake that takes about an hour and a half to do.

When it tells you to turn onto firemen or fire something road or whatever just go straight. The map thinks your still 8 miles from the park when in fact your there.

Great, very fun lakeside trail. There are many small bridges and spectacular photo spots along the trail. A definite must visit and hidden gem.

This is the perfect place to spend the day outdoors and being in nature! There's something for everyone from fishing, to hiking and picnicking. My 12 year old daughter, myself, and fiancé love to go hike the trail around the lake. It's very well kept and is the perfect balance of exercise and adventure. It has lots of twists, turns, ups, downs, and wooden bridges to keep things interesting! It is also a great place to teach kids about wildlife, as there is plenty to see every time you go. If you find yourself looking for something to do outdoors on a beautiful day, this is the place. Throw on your tennis shoes, pack a lunch, grab the kids, a few poles and bait, and go enjoy what nature has to offer

Loved it, trail was 2 1/2-3 miles long, all through beautiful forest and surrounded a lake. Will definately be coming back.

A hidden gem. Beautiful and quiet. Fishing, a walking trail, and a place to launch a boat.

The place is beautiful. Bald eagles, dear can be seen early in the morning on the hiking trail. I visit this place often. I live close by and have for over 15 years. I've heard stories about nice fish there. But I've never seen it everyone I know it's either caught something there it's about 8 inches or under. It's full of grass carp. An invasive species that's not even supposed to be in the lake. the water was muddy this year. I suspect that's why. And the fishing ain't no good either. But everything else it's pretty cool and worth the hike to see.

It was a beautiful place to hike. The path in some places is only a foot wide. I only found one marker letting us know the distance.
