Wonderful lunch on the patio. Food was delicious! We had the empanadas, cioppino and the shrimp & pasta. All were excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Service was 3.5 Our server(Jay) was efficient but not engaging/friendly. No mention of the daily specials (heard them from the server at the next table). No “thank you for dining with us” or any sort of send off.

My husband and I love Carol's Creek Cafe. He took me here for my birthday and the fish tacos were wonderful with a variation of textures and a mild chipotle flavor with the fish cooked to perfection. My husband had the greek seafood salad which he said was delicious and filling, and we shared the cheesecake. Be sure to make a reservation, they are always busy. I recommend sitting outside when the weather permits. It's a beautiful view with the fresh air, and you can see all of the action on the water.

We celebrated Mother's Day here, and Johnny was the absolute cherry on top of our experience! Attentive, funny and prompt! The service and atmosphere were impeccable, which made our delicious meals all the more enjoyable. We will definitely return 😊

This place was a lot nicer than we intended with 3 adults and 3 toddlers but we were in a hurry and Carrol’s was just about to open so we knew we’d get a table quick and good crab cakes. Obviously the food was good. Crab cake sandwich was nice, the cocktail sauce was delicious, and Maryland crab soup was lovely as well. Everything was expensive but I expected that. The real difference maker was the service. My 2 year old broke a plate like 30 seconds into sitting down and the staff was so gracious. One of the staff brought over a bucket of toys for the kids. It made the whole experience so much better. I was able to calmly eat my lunch. Huge thank you to everyone there for making our time nice

Get your Google map ready. This restaurant is the local's treasure. The parking lot is a little tight, and if you are not familiar with the area, you will miss a must enjoy restaurant. The photo provided shows you the view from our table. The food is fantastic, real fresh food, NOT frozen , then zapped in the microwave. Seafood yummy. We had cream of crab soup and a crab cake, it was lunch time. Superb service, superb food and a truly lovely dining experience.

Hubby's birthday. The food was amazing. His first time. He was overwhelmed by the quality. The steak was perfection. The scallops were delicious and I don't even eat scallops. Definitely a win!

Celebrated our anniversary going out to Carrol’s Creek Cafe in Annapolis. Beautiful location with good food but a bit expensive for a cafe especially Crab Cake dish which was $44. Crab cakes were great, all crab and not mixed with anything else but portion was way too small for the price. Same goes for the dessert, Bread Pudding and Cheese Cake. They did give us one of the desserts for free for celebrating our Anniversary though. I gotta say that it was a nice touch to have the Anniversary card ready! The service was exquisite! John was the best server ever. He knew everything about the menu by heart in such detail!

Great food with a great view! We enjoyed a lovely lunch on the deck. Our boys loved the grilled cheese and waffles. We all enjoyed some of the best fried calamari we've had. The fish tacos were delicious. The service was good. We would definitely eat there again.

I highly recommend Carrol's Creek Cafe - the service and food were great. All the seafood was so fresh! The phyllo wrapped scallops were so fresh, plump, and juicy and the Maryland cream of crab soup was so well seasoned and creamy. Our waiter made sure we were never missing anything without being too overbearing.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Parking was easy to get. Service was superb! The Baja swordfish tacos were on point. The special - homemade blueberry tart with vanilla ice cream was delightful. Plus sitting outside to enjoy the breeze and scenery couldn't be beat. Definitely worth returning again!

Nice view, atmosphere and outdoor seating on the water. The appetizers we got were tasty and I highly suggest the calamari. Unfortunately I have to remove two stars due to our server Matt’s unpleasant attitude. We cut our visit short and went to Blackwall Hitch where we got excellent service.

From the friendly welcome by the host and the great personality of our server. Staff gets 5 plus stars. The food, especially the mussels were DE-licious! I consider this a special occasion restaurant. Excellent food. Excellent views. Excellent service! You pay for it and it's worth it.

I was suggested to come by here a couple years back by my culinary teacher, and I regret postponing it for so long! Carrol's Creek was wonderful, in the quality of the food, their service, and the ambiance. There was essentially no wait on a Monday afternoon, and the service was extremely fast. Our waitress was very kind - she overheard that it was my birthday and gave us a free dessert on the house. The bread pudding was great! I'm not usually the biggest fan of it, but the one here was fantastic. We ordered a crab dip, the sauteed jumbo shrimp, thai-style shrimp & scallops, fried shrimp po boy, and fall vegetarian bowl. Each dish came in large portions - more than enough to eat lunch and take home for dinner, barring the po boy. Both the sauteed jumbo shrimp and thai-style shrimp were extremely filling and delicious, and the crab dip was given a positive rating by my sister. Finally, the location itself is beautiful, and the seats by the windows have a great view. 1/30/23

Most enjoyable scene, service, and setting! My birthday friend was ecstatic with his meal, as were others in my party. I really just can’t understand what is so difficult in offering a vegetarian option which is tasty, interesting and provides a complete protein. Hasn’t any chief in Annapolis ever been trained in alternatives to animal consumptions? While your partner is salivating over juicy shrimp, crab-stuffed haddock or crab cakes, it’s really tough to enjoy a huge bowl of quinoa - boring, bland and insufficient! We are suffering over fished oceans, polluted commercial farms and animal ill-treatment! Doesn’t anyone at all care?

Absolutely delicious food, a great atmosphere and beautiful views of the harbor. We stopped by for a snack and a drink and really enjoyed it. They have seating indoors and out as well as a well stocked bar.

Creative, unique dishes with great service. Carrol’s Creek Cafe offers a five star dining experience through and through. We came for dinner on July 3 in 2021 and were lucky enough to grab a 5 pm reservation. We arrived ahead of the dinner crowd and were seated on their balcony facing the harbor. Their famous scallop appetizer is a must try (see my photo). Thin, crispy wonton like "noddles" wrapping delicate and tender, juicy, scallops. What a visual feast! Their daily special of lobster and crab cake was perfectly prepared and presented, as is their daily special of halibut. Every restaurant should take a page from Carrol's Creek's playbook to improve their service. Our waiter was elegantly attentive without being intrusive; he had a touch of humor and lightness; he clearly loves what he does; he is knowledgeable about the dishes (including how they are prepared!) and the local area. Service was prompt without making you feel rushed. Water is constantly refilled. Bread came promptly as well.

From the moment we walked in, everything was great! Our server John was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The manager Lexi also stopped by our table to check on us, and also was very friendly. All of the food here was GREAT! Some of the things we got were Oysters, Shrimp & Grits, Crab Cakes & Rockfish and we loved it all! It was so nice being able to have a nice restaurant experience on our date night because we haven’t had that probably since Covid started. We will definitely be coming back here!

Now this place is IMMACULATE ?. Bravo! Now you guys know i am very critical on my reviews so here it goes: I made a reservation for 7:45pm and of course we were early. Our Table was not ready yet so they offered for us to go to the bar and grab a drink this though social distancing was amazing, the lady at the bar was super sweet she made our drinks quickly I ordered a dark and stormy it was delicious. We were seated at our table at approximately 750 with a great view of the Marina and we had a great view of the sunset. Our waiter Atticus was amazing he told us the specials he gave us his honest opinion on the food we ended up ordering the raw oysters, crab dips,14 oz prime rib and the rockfish I am form him that I was allergic to mushrooms he made sure to that the chef knew. The drinks were amazing and food was delivered in a timely manner. THE FOOD WAS PERFECT not too salty, nothing was over or undercooked and for dessert the apple turnover and ice cream was delicious! Every thing from the tables to the restroom was so clean! This is my new spot. Please keep up the great work!!

Dinner was fantastic! You should definitely try this place. Beautiful views. Servers were great. Must get the Rockfish and the coffee and donuts dessert to finish.

The restaurant has great location and a great view. The service is outstanding. We ordered a dozen of oysters , they were absolutely fabulous. I ordered crab cake sandwich, I was disappointed. The crab cake was small and had fillers. I would go back just to have a dozen of oysters by myself!

Their existing reviews say it all, but I have to add to them. Everything about this place is fantastic. The food, the view of the river, the staff, and the decor. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but my go to is the carb cake.

Food and marina view are excellent. They have a good amount of outdoor seating.

I normally dont do reviews like at all But....Candace was the best server EVER! The atmosphere was great on the patio. Hostesses were very nice and had my reservation ready (which I made online through their website) . Food was AMAZING!! We ordered wine, baked oysters, lobster, crab cake, halibut, and apple tart for dessert. Definitely coming back soon. Thanks for being open during these crazy Covid-19 times.

The food was wonderful , and the atmosphere sitting on the deck overlooking the boats on the water was perfect. CRAB SOUP IS A MUST !!! Everything was amazing. Crab cakes =99% lump crab meat, 1% binder & seasoning, perfect. Expresso Creme Brule was delicious.

Great views of the marina! Friendly, professional staff. We had lunch here several times and always left satisfied. The crab cake, artichoke dip, Greek salad, fish tacos, rock fish are all great. Excellent desert menu as well.

We had lunch during the restaurant week wherein we ordered the two course meal. The salmon was bland but the fresh salad tasted good. The shrimp was ok. The waiter who assisted us wasn’t so attentive and only took our order and served our food. He didn’t check if food is ok. Food is average and good customer service is lacking. The view from the restaurant is nice though. I won’t rush on coming back in this restaurant.

My husband, and I visited on 8/12/2022 with some very close friends. We asked for a window seat as we wanted a view of the marina, and that is exactly what we got. Very nice view from inside of the restaurant. Our server was Barry. If I could give Barry 100 stars I would. He was so very personable, always spoke with a smile, made suggestions for some food items, and drinks, and he was very attentive the entire time of our visit not to mention observing him with a couple of his other tables close by, and how friendly he was with them as well. Great job Barry! The food was really good. I will say however, I have never had crab dip with accompaniments on the side of carrots, broccoli, celery, and potato chips. It was rather odd as I'm used to restaurants serving crab dip with pita bread triangles. The crab dip was amazing, but I would have much preferred pita bread triangles over potato chips, and veggies. The oysters were huge! My husband, and our friend loved the oysters. I had looked at the menu online before heading out of town to visit Annapolis for the weekend, and I had already chosen my meal in advance that I wanted to eat which was scallops. However, the scallop meal that I had seen online was not offered on the menu so I chose the Thai scallop dish. It was good but not 100% to my liking but that is because I am not a huge Thai fan. Regardless, it was good. My friend wanted to order some brie with fruit or jam type of appetizer but they did not have that on the menu anymore so she was disappointed in that but she loved her dinner, and ate the crab dip. We were all satisfied with our meals, and the service was impeccable! Thank you Barry for being such an amazing server! We will definitely visit again in the future when in Annapolis for the Navy games.

We went here for my birthday, I had the burratta salad with blackened chicken. Absolutely amazing flavor combination and freshness of ingredients. We shared the baked oysters and they were very fresh and a perfect cook. Even the coffee was great! Our server was professional, friendly, and accurate. The runners and beverage stewards were professional, courteous, and did a good job of being invisible.

Went to Carrol's Creek Cafe restaurant for the 1st time this past weekend and I must say, I will definitely be back. The people who worked there were so kind...excellent customer service 👍! The food and drinks were on point and the atmosphere was great. If it hadn't been a bit chilly outside, I would've sat outside by the water.

The food was just OK it’s nothing that I will rush back to have again order the herb crusted rockfish (was bland needed acid and salt)and the Thai shrimp(my partner said it was good). The presentation of the food was very nice. I wish it Tasted as good as it looked, for appetizers, we got the empanadas and the baked oysters. Honestly, they were just OK. The atmosphere was nice. We sat on the patio and the service was phenomenal.. I made sure I tipped accordingly to my server not the chef.

Great food and atmosphere. Tons of outdoor seating spaces out nicely post- quarantine opening. UPDATE: We liked it so much we brought my parents from out of town, and they were blown away by the food and the views! Shout out to Angela, our server, who was absolutely fantastic!

My wife and I adore Carrol's Creek. We went here on our wedding day and our 1 year anniversary. It is definitely a nice place to dine, and it is worth the price. The outdoor seating area on the water and the view of downtown across the inlet are wonderful. I think this restaurant is an Annapolis staple and deserves every accolade it receives. They always have great service and present a positive experience. Plus, they validate parking!

Great views! Fantastic outdoor seating option across the way from downtown Annapolis. Food and drinks were expensive, but well worth it. I highly recommend their crab cakes.

OUR SERVER, CARLEE, WAS AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT! FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND SO SWEET! FIRST, LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE ATMOSPHERE.....QUIET, UPPER-CASUAL. OK, NOW THE FOOD. I HAD SALMON WITH CAULIFLOWER MASH.... OMG....WONDERFUL! 1-10...IT WAS A 10 FOR SURE! MY LUNCH COMPANION HAD AN APPETIZER...TUNA TARTARE ON A BED OF SUSHI RICE...HE GAVE IT A10! THE HOT ROLLS SERVED BEFORE OUR MEAL WERE JUST TOO DELICIOUS..MULTIGRAIN, PLAIN AND TOMATO BASIL.....WITH THE BEST BUTTER.... CAROL CREEK, WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!.

Used Resy to reserve a patio table for 7:30. Arrived and was told that our reservation wasn't until 8:15 even though the app clearly showed 7:30 — deduct 1 star). Round of drinks at the bar while we waited; Stella and cocktail drink that was barely bigger than a shot for $20, to be expected for an ocean front bar. Bar tender very prompt and friendly. Seated at table after standing and waiting for waitress to mess with the umbrellas for an awkward period of time. Begs for the, “How about you seat us then play musical chairs with the umbrellas later.” Waitress was very pleasant, but just not present. As the night progressed her absences were more extended. I went inside and 5 waitstaff were hanging out in a booth talking/plying with phone. Took so long to be offered another drink and then again for check that we didn't stay for dessert - deduct 1 star. We both got steaks. They were cooked perfect and sauce was tasty, but nothing exceptional. My “mushroom sauce” had one mushroom and there wasn't much of it. Thankfully I don’t like mushrooms. Presentation was very simple so hopefully that’s what they were going for. Calamari was spot in!

It is a great spot. The service is always impeccable and I like how they are doing the outdoor seating out onto the large area on the dock. You just cannot go wrong with any of the food I have had there.

Carol's Creek Cafe... a favorite of mine! Food is exceptional! The herb encrusted rock fish and crab cakes are 2 of my favorites. Combine that with the fabulous views of the harbor...you will not disappointed. Outstanding service too!

Took my mom here for lunch! We both enjoyed it! The MD cream of crab soup was delicious along with the pan seared scallops with spinach. And to top it off we had the bread pudding with a glazed donut with caramel bourbon sauce! OMG...very very yummy!

The view is equally as good as the food. Chilean sea bass is to die for!

I absolutely LOVED my meal at Carrol's Creek! The entrees were delicious (I had the scallops- whoa that risotto is good, and my husband had a perfectly cooked filet!), drinks were refreshing and the bread pudding made from donuts was out of this world. To top it all off, the view was gorgeous and our server Angel was amazing. Thank you for the best night celebrating our anniversary!!

First time at Carol's Creek. I was VERY impressed! I had the grilled salmon over mashed cauliflower...with snow peas...and I ordered a side of fresh veggies (zucchini, yellow squash and carrots) They tasted like they were sauteed in olive oil and dressed with light seasoning... The salmon was done PERFECTLY and the whole meal was excellent! Paul had the tuna tartare on a bed of sticky rice with wasabi sauce. He said it was DELICIOUS! Did I mention the hot rolls prior to our meal! Yummmmy! And last, BUT NOT LEAST was our server, Carlee. I believe that just as important as good food, is a good server, and we had a great one! Carlee was first of all, kind. She was attentive, truly caring and careful of her guests. SHE made the lunch even better! We give Carol's Creek Cafe a solid 10 and encourage anyone looking to really enjoy a lovely meal on the water of Annapolis...just go....you will not be disappointed! Carlee, we will see you again very soon!
