I
rarely
stay
at
hotels
these
days.
I
travel
alone
frequently,
so
I
typically
find
other
accommodation
rental
options
that
are
more
affordable.
But,
for
our
visit
to
Annapolis,
I
really
wanted
to
take
advantage
of
this
historic
inn
and
it's
walkability
to
shops/restaurants
in
the
historic
area.
We
stayed
in
the
Governor
Calvert
Historic
King.
This
is
located
in
the
main
building
where
you
check
in.
I
believe
this
is
a
little
bit
of
a
bigger
room
and
it
was
great.
Had
a
view
of
the
state
house.
Pros:
-
Walkability
to
restaurants
and
stores
-
Historic
atmosphere
/
unique
experience
-
Has
a
mini
fridge
in
room
-
Good
water
pressure
and
shower
head
(at
least
in
our
room)
-
Great
TV
station
options
(we
were
sort
of
stuck
inside
a
portion
of
our
day
due
to
a
tropical
storm,
so
we
watched
TV
more
than
we
would
have
otherwise.
Somewhere
in
the
middle
or
just
plain
facts:
-
Valet
is
available
7
AM
until
(gosh,
I
already
forgot)
11
PM?
This
means
that
if
you
need
to
leave
the
hotel
at
6
AM
and
you
checked
your
car
with
valet,
you're
out
of
luck!
So
plan
accordingly.
We
had
a
rental
car
and
I
absolutely
checked
the
car
with
valet.
The
parking
around
town
(tight
parallel
spots
on
tiny
streets)
freaks
me
out...
especially
because
it
was
raining
while
we
were
there.
-
Like
someone
else
mentioned,
this
hotel
technically
"closes"
in
the
wee-hours
of
the
morning.
There's
a
card
reader
at
the
door
to
let
you
in
"after
hours".
-
Check
in
is
4
pm
(
a
little
on
the
later
side
)
Cons:
-
If
you
want
to
be
nit-picky,
you
could
complain
about
some
of
the
wallpaper
patchwork
in
our
bathroom
or
the
wallpaper
application
in
general.
It
was
noticeable
but
didn't
really
matter.
-
There's
a
mini
fridge
but
no
microwave.
Great
for
drinks,
but
not
for
if
you
want
to
heat
up
leftovers.
-
Their
system
was
down
the
entire
time
of
our
stay...
this
didn't
impact
us.
They
had
a
way
of
knowing
the
reservations
they
had.
But
this
DID
mean
if,
say,
we
wanted
to
extend
our
stay
a
night,
they
would
not
have
been
able
to
do
this
for
us
on
site.
We
would
have
to
call
the
booking
number
to
do
so.
This
number
is
offsite
somewhere
in
the
Carolinas
(yes,
I
asked
them
where
they
were
:P)
and
is
the
hub
for
the
management/property
owners
I
guess.
-
I
think
it's
on
the
pricey
side
(compared
to
what
I
typically
spend
on
overnight
stays)
but
it
was
worth
it
for
our
experience.
10/10
would
stay
at
again.
I
absolutely
recommend
booking
this
place
a
minimum
of
2
nights.
This
way
you
actually
enjoy
a
day
in
the
town.
