My nieces and nephew had a great time playing in the parks and walking and running on the walkway. A fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon

One thing I don't like about this place is the public toilets are closed in the evenings. I really think they should have a look at this and have some way or means for the public to use the rest rooms. On the other side the view is mind blowing and it is for young and old.

It's beautiful. Parking is hard. There is not much shade, so you must wear a hat and sun cream. You can rent a bicycle and an electric scooter.

Lovely beach with pristine white sand, tidal pool, kids playground. Popular with locals and tourists, most amazing sunsets. Great free parking. Currently being upgraded.

Amazing views and good food, shells are all over the beach and you can readily enjoy the various cultures of South Africa here.

Sunset swim and shake off the day in the tidal pool. Great place to ground yourself and start a afternoon skate from on the promonade.

Love this boardwalk area of the beach, has some great spots for kids to play and generally quick/easy parking. It also feels very safe. Gave it 4 stars However, because the bathrooms have no toilet paper but thousands of condoms! Keep that in mind to come supplied when you come with children.

If you’re looking for a relaxing way to spend the late afternoon, then Milton Beach should certainly be a candidate. It’s easily accessible from the Promenade and you can relax, overlooking the ocean, relax on the beach or wait for a wonderful sunset. Swimming can be dangerous, but there’s a tidal pool which is much safer for swimming (if you can handle the cold temps). People here are generally friendly and willing to chat.

Always a pleasure walking the promenade. Is good exercise with a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean. Also it's rich with culture as people from all backgrounds walk or run there. There are playpens for kids and good for walking your pets.

Lovely to sit on a bench looking out at the ocean on one side, Lions head to the other and watch the passing parade.
