A
symphony
What
do
all
great
artists
have
in
common?
The
ability
to
remove
a
person
from
the
mundane
and
take
them
on
a
journey.
Whether
it
is
a
great
orchestral
composer,
painter,
or
poet.
The
artist
excites
the
senses
using
the
tools
of
their
trade.
That
is
exactly
what
you
can
expect
to
take
place
when
you
visit
Pier
Restaurant
at
the
V&A
Waterfront!
We
were
taken
on
a
sensory
journey
during
our
meal
and
as
my
wife
aptly
described
it
"witchcraft
on
a
plate".
Each
dish
was
perfection,
from
the
selection
of
ingredients
to
the
plating
there
was
nothing
that
could
be
faulted.
The
journey
builds
in
intensity
with
each
dish
and
there
is
no
repeat
in
flavour
profiles.
From
ethereal
volutés
to
bold
jus
and
vibrant
nitrogen
frozen
kalamansi,
you
will
be
surprised
by
explosions
of
flavour,
colour
and
texture
at
every
turn.
Each
course
transitions
into
the
next
and
can
only
be
described
as
a
symphony
on
your
palate.
The
service
was
second
to
none.
Every
waiter,
manager
or
chef
that
you
will
cross
paths
with
will
make
you
feel
welcome
and
as
close
to
royalty
as
I
can
imagine
royalty
would
feel
like.
Great
service
to
compliment
an
amazing
meal
removes
one
from
ordinary
life
and
transports
you
to
an
alternate
world
where
imagination
becomes
reality.
Compliments
to
Head
Chef
John
Norris-Rogers
and
his
exceptional
team
at
Pier,
you
are
on
your
way
to
the
top
ten!
