A great place to hike or cycle. There is a coffee shop and fruit seller at the beginning of the road into the mountain. Can be busy on weekends and baboons often frequent the mountain but with monitors. The mountains are majestic!!

A wonderful slow hike. When you first begin there is a slight incline, but don't be intimidated because the rest of the way is mostly flat surface. The views are incredible, there are a few benches to stop and rest along the way, some small streams in between. Recommended to walk with a group or a dog or at least two people but never alone.

Lovely hike. Pretty easy. Mostly a walk if you stay on the trail. With small little offshoots into the more steeper terrain if desired. Lovely way to spend a few hours on a overcast day.

The first 3.5km of the hike was difficult due to the constant incline. However after that, the climb becomes a tad bit easier. The views are amazing. The dam views even more magical. I would advise anyone to go there, but please make sure you are wearing the proper shoes and attire!

We hiked from Skeleton Gorge (Kirstenbosch) to Constantia Nek. Nature views are breathtaking and vegetation beautiful. Walk includes passing the 5 dams on the lower table of Table Mountain along the jeep track. (swimming not allowed). Skeleton Gorge requires some fitness and there is a section with ladders and some scrambling but quite do-able. Once at the top its easy walking. Remember to take water (2 litres) and some warm clothing in case the weather changes ( this can happen unexpectedly.

What a lovely experience. A nice 2 and a hour hour hike up to the first dam. Well that all depends how fit you are lol

Longer dirt path to walk up, or shorter more intense walk through a trail.
