The BEST MUSHROOM SAUCE I'VE EVER TASTED. The atmosphere very relaxing. Just found the steak a bit too chewy and a struggle to cut through. The waitress' attentiveness was SPOT ON ; not like other places where they keep asking you every "5" minutes if everthing is okay while you have food in your mouth.

Zanele was THE BEST!!! She was so sweet and kind and told us about the special deal of the day! Letie the manager was so amazing!!! She checked in and had the best smile!! We had a great visit- food and drinks were amazing!!! Definitely put this on your list! Great deals and even better staff that are so kind and genuine!!! ❤️

Food was very nice, just the service was lacking…they could have been more attentive. The food was well portioned and the sweet potato wedges was very nice.

Very friendly staff, even though we came in 10 min before the kitchen closed they let us order what we wanted quickly. Good people serving that make you feel like you’re at home and you’re not waiting for nothing. Drinks get delivered quickly food is very tasty.

I am on travel in Cape Town and went here on a recommendation. I had a steak special (400g sirloin). At least 250g of what I paid for was bone and fat. This was not a good steak. While it was medium rare as ordered, It was cold on one side, and had a sweet sauce that wasn’t great. The mushroom topping (served on the side) was also not great. My expectations were much higher as I had an absolutely fantastic steak + fries/chips at Kloof Street House a few nights earlier and was surprised at the excellent quality. This may not be a fair comparison as Tiger’s Milk is not as upscale as Kloof Street House. Tiger’s Milk was comfortable and I was seated right away at 7:30pm on a Wednesday. It is a great location and the server (Cindy) was polite and attentive. While I won’t order steak here again, I may try other dishes to see if they are decent. My cab driver highly recommended it, due to location. It is a few blocks from my hotel near City Center / Greenmarket Square. Don’t order the steak if you go. They play a steady stream of pop/top-40 music and ambience is fine. Summary: location is great, steak is not. Try something else.

Low key, pleasant, straightforward pub with good food and drinks. Everyone was very nice and the casual vibe was very relaxing.

We had a great day walking around in Cape Town, to the company gardens, sightseeing Houses of Parliament and Greenmarket Square and ended up at Tigers Milk on Long street for some drinks and pizzas. Definitely the best pizzas in town.

I am a big fan of Tiger’s Milk and have visited multiple locations. Fairly priced food and drinks for a good quality. Went in on a Monday for the burger special. Per the website, a meat patty can be swapped for a vegetarian option and be included in the special. We ordered two vegetarian burgers, but the waitress told us it was only beef or chicken. We showed her the website, and she went to get her manager. The manager came over and saw the same website. She said that the website is not updated but she would still accommodate us. I am thankful for her assistance and honoring what it says, but I checked just now and it still shows that you can substitute a vegetarian patty. I would recommend removing it from the website or making it known that is an option otherwise it seems like false advertising.

Overall a trendy place. Food is good and service Is good as well. The one thing I didnt enjoy was the burger I ordered was super greasy. The bottom bun was about 20%saturated with grease. Other than that it was a good experience.

The most amazing place I've ever been!!! Pls as for Zanele. She goes all out when it comes to service, there's literally no-one like her. First in her name, a superstar?? Of course bethuna!!! This was the best experience. Also, the pizza was great, the specials as well but bethuna Zanele made it all worth it.

Horrible experience there. Haven been to the Tigers Milk in Camps Bay, this long street one is the worst. The manager is also rude. We were served off food and found a fly in our food.

Wonderful afternoon spent with friends and family celebrating a birthday. Excellent team effort and service. Background music exactly that and created a good atmosphere. Wonderful afternoon into early evening. Place was quiet for the most part from 4 to 7 on a Saturday.

Awesome pub/restaurant/bar. Food is amazing and prices are decent. Charles is amazing, he did everything to make us feel like at home. The manager was great as well, she is the best! Been here 4 times already! Can’t suggest one dish as everything I tried tasted wonderful.

Loved the energy the the waiter brought. Didn't have anything to eat so can't comment on the food but the happy hour drinks are always good. Definitely a place to have a beer and watch the cars go by. Tiger's Milk you will definitely see me agian

Great vibe and friendly service. We were there during lunchtime, so it wasn't that busy, but I guess during the evenings things get more crowded. They have a great selection craft beers on tap! And the I Avocado / Feta salad I had was truely delicious! Well worth a visit, check them out!

After long Saturday with lots of traveling , we were looking for nice place at Long Street. We were walking and stopped at Tiger "s milk. We got settled at the Bar . And orderd our drinks. The bar tender was good, he was very talkative and we actually enjoyed his company. We tool the liberty to get Inside the bar area and try our own cocktail. He graciously allowed it. We loved having drink at this cafe. We orderd out food at the same bar counter. Food was also good. The best part of this place was great atmosphere and amazing vibe. People come here to chill. We spent some. Nice time talking a lot with locals and guests. Amazing place, highly recommended

One of the most visited places in Long Street this restaurant/pub has a very warm environment!!!! The staff was great and very helpful. I had the steak filet which though did not amaze me but still was tasteful!!! Would like to visit probably next time for a drink at the bar!!!

This restaurant was walking distance from our hotel. It was lovely to roam the streets without living in fear that someone will try to grab your bag or phone. Security visible the entire time.

I had a few hours of time to kill and came by at 3:30pm, which isn't exactly a typical meal time. Cindy and Nontombi were both very sweet and attentive to the fact that I was alone and took great care of me. I had a huge burger with loaded fries and corn - it really wasn't anything special, but it was good enough and the service was pretty fantastic. I'd come back just based on the staff!

Great place to have a few drinks and grab something to eat , especially Thier specials they are reasonable , the service I received was poor , the waitress's have good communication skills but they couldn't deliver everything in time had to remind them over and over and over .....the toilets were unhygienic which was very disappointing

We are extremely disappointed at the service we received. Firstly the chicken livers were off (they smelt and tasted rotten) and when we brought it to the attention of the manager he was extremely rude. He made us feep horrible for raising our concerns about the services. His name is Christian. This happens after we went to Tigers Milk in Camps Bay yesterday which was AMAZING. Consistency amongst stores is key.

Service and attention to detail is fine, but the food quality is lacking, I ordered a nachos for R89.00 and was served a smallish (starter??) portion which was Luke warm! In these times ( after walking the entire length of long street and seeing how many restaurants etc have closed) the most important aspect of the service industry is quality and presentation of food.
