Well, I've just been Poké bowled over by the satisfying umame flavours of the Miso Eggplant Poké Bowl. Friendly staff, a crisp, light vibe, and healthy food that is faster than fast food means I will certainly make The Poké Co., a go-to cooking replacement.

Great find. So delicious and full of taste. Reasonable price and good location. Service was excellent. Go and you won’t regret it. September 2022 Update …. Went today for lunch. Amazingly good poke bowl. The two women working there were fabulous. They were so friendly and made an incredibly good bowl for me. I will return again on this trip. March 2023 Update …. Went for dinner there this evening. Poke Burrito was delicious and pretty big. Service was excellent as always. Highly recommend this place for dinner.

I loved, loved, loved the poke bowl I had here today. It was a build your own bowl with a sticky rice base and tuna as the protein. The freshness of each ingredient was evident with every bite. The sauces were zingy and refreshing. If I lived in Cape Town I think I'd probably be on first name terms with all the staff as I'd probably be here so often. A delight!!

Ordered Leeward poké bowls for pick up a few times and WOW! From presentation, the amount of Salmon and the freshness of the ingredients to the amazing taste, every bite was memorable! I have subsequently also ordered the Chick poké bowl which and was amazing. The macadamia nuts take it to the next level. I can highly recommend the Poké Co in Loop Street!

This is a cute spot and I thoroughly enjoyed my custom bowl. High quality ingredients and good portions. The guy who served me was very lovely and attentive.

Simply the best poke bowls I've had. Umami tofu is highly recommended. Super friendly staff too.

This little place is a real gem, the bowls are delicious and healthy and come in a variety of options. My personal favourite is ‘the chick’ but due to a recent change to a plant based diet I tried ‘the garden gate’ on Kelvin’s recommendation and was pleasant surprised. A definite must try, after which you’ll become a regular 🙂

If you like poké don’t hesitate.

Fantastic fresh, healthy food that tastes great. Lot of options for vegetarians, vegans and non-vegans. You can choose from their menu of creations of build your own. I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance of the place. Not particularly child friendly but I don't see why you couldn't take your toddler with. It is a bit small and the tables tend to fill up quickly around lunch time.

Amazing food, the portions are huge, the price is fair and all the ingredients are so fresh. Highly recommend the Poke place!

Ordered a poké bowl this afternoon for lunch. Now, before I get the food.. can we talk about the excellent service?! Getting takeout can be the pits, but the Poké Co is different. I placed my Order for a pick up using The Poké Co app for 1st time, it was easy signing up, placing an order and making the online payment was even more easier. There were no issues when using the app, it went smoothly and I was even surprised that I managed to do it during work as I can’t be on my phone so I took a short break and it was worth it ! Immediately after the payment, I received an email with my receipt , and I made a total of 2 orders. As I was walking to the restaurant to go and pick up my order, I got a call from the restaurant and turned out they called 30 minutes after I placed my order to let me know that my order is ready for pick up and because I didn’t pick up previously, they called again. The person on the phone sounded so friendly and I was super thankful for the call(s). My pick up place was the one in Loop Street and it is clean, small, but cute and aesthetically pleasing. I wish I would have dined in rather, maybe next time :). The paper bags and how everything is presented ahhhh, it looked so cute. I ordered the Leeward & The Charlie Tuna poké bowls and they tasted amazing (not simultaneously obviously haha). I loved my lunch and dinner! Worth every cent. Keep up the great service guys.

My first time eating here and WOW WOW WOW. The set up is very relaxing, staff is friendly and bathroom is very clean. The food was amazing, so filling and full of flavour, I didn’t question a single thing in my bowl, that’s how good it was! This place will make eating healthy a piece of cake :)

Unfortunately my bowl was a bit of a mess due to Ubereats, especially the beet taking over everything, so packaging can be improved for that goal specifically, as a Poke is also visually enjoyed. Nevertheless, always a lovely and fresh tasting supper in CBD.

Really love this place and order from them quite often but was very disappointed with the 2 for 1 Uber Eats special they ran. We basically got 2 half portions on this promotion so we might as well have bought 2 full portions without the special. I would still order from here but will be very wary of future promotions they run.
