This place was amazing, right next to the ocean. Went there for dinner and they had heaters next to each table, inside there was a fire place. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We did not wait long for our drinks and food, the food was amazing, made just as we asked. I hijacked them to ask if they could do a “happy birthday” plate of dessert for my little sister and they did. Our waiter Mr T kept on checking up on us, even managed to get us warm bottled water instead of the cold one they offer on arrival. It is now one of my favourites. Definitely going back for sunset views in summer.

Very disappointing experience here. The service was non existent & even the manager was so nonchalant when I mentioned that we were not happy with Henri's service. I guess there's a certain type of arrogance that comes with being highly recommended? Who knows. What I enjoyed was the view towards the ocean & the heaters they had in the enclosed outside area. The drinks were also lovely, which is what I came out for. I tried the Island Style G&T, then the Strawberry Gin Smash & then the Blush drink. The Blush drink was a hit, I ordered it twice & my friend also ordered her own too. The Strawberry & Lime G&T is also good. But for the wow factor, I highly recommend getting the Blush. The food was good, my friend ordered a chicken curry dish which was pleasant, I had side fried which I enjoyed. All in all, an underwhelming evening tainted by the poor service.

Visited The Bungalow while we were visiting Cape Town. It’s a great bar/restaurant closer to Clifton 4 beach. Great ambience, ocean view from the terrace, very friendly service, great range of cocktails and mocktails and great seafood options on the menu. Highly recommend to go for a couple of drinks and/or brunch.

We had a great time. The service was excellent. The ocean view was amazing. The atmosphere was superb. The food was scrumptious 😋 The location is perfect 🥰 As for the mandatory Parking fee,I think it should be included on your website ,so we know we should carry cash when we plan to visit. -especially for guests coming for the first time.

The service was not so great. They took a long time to serve us. My partner complained about the taste of his dessert. I ordered calamari but was served squid instead and the waiter insisted that it was the same thing.

Really enjoyed our meal last night. Its very impressive how they do it so well and so fast. We loved our seafood platter, some great wine and the overall buzz of the place. It was also fun to watch some people table hop from the back tables to the sea front as they became free then start to complain about how cold they were after the sun went down. Our server was brilliant too, friendly and fun 🤩

Quality food, quality service, quality vibes and views. The place is beautiful, the waiters are very professional, the view is amazing. I had the time of my life on a wonderful date there. It is a must visit for anyone in the Western Cape. I'm definitely booking a table again even though some items on the menu are a little bit on the expensive side for the average South African paycheck

The vibe was really great. The music was very entertaining and an over all good vibe. The food was good. Extremely expensive though but makes sense considering the location and views. Great for pictures and aesthetics though. It's a very popular spot and great on a hot cool day. Service was okay, not the best as we sat with a dirty table for a long time after we finished our mains and our waiters kept changing throughout.

Super stylish spot, prime Clifton location with iconic backdrop views of the Twelve Apostles, and breath taking sea views, think sunset cocktails. Alas we were in the area with some time to kill, our kids were playing soccer on the pitch at the Glen County Club that flanks this über trendy venue. Although I can’t review the menu, it looked pretty good, with a drink menu to match. Not priced for locals in my opinion, but hey, for a view like that I’m willing to pay a little more. As a spot-check, this is high up there, even though this city has so many. Worth a visit, I imagine summer evenings must be a vibe! Ciao SB ~ 🍹

Beautiful place! It is tho most beautiful place I've been to at Cape Town so far. I love their setup with the beds and the veiw of the see at sun set. It also has the veiw of table mountain at the back. Really enjoyed my time there. I'm definitely going back there.

The food was excellent, very tasty and and a unique experience. Had lamb cutlets and as well the Tempura fish. Although the food did take a bit of time to arrive , the drinks kept us going. Limited Whiskey and Cider options on the menu. The cost of the food is above average , borderline on fine dining pricing. With a drink, you are looking at R450 - R500 pp. But you pay for the atmosphere and views from the Bungalow. There is a view of the ocean and sunset.

Very Vibey, place to come on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I’d recommend Booking in advance as it’s packed. Food, service and drinks were good. Of course sunset are amazing as well. Plenty of parking.

We visited from Mexico and it was our first time in Cape Town. Bungalow was highly recommended by many locals and tourists as a great spot to catch a stunning sunset and some great food. Bungalow did not dissapoint as the service was great and the food was even better than expected. We ended up returning a few times during out visit and hope to return again one day. One day we had steak which was exquisite and the next visit was seafood which was perfect as well.

The views are the only aspect of beauty... if you're seated outside. I expected more. The food is absolutely average. The service is below par and every item is overpriced. Burgers are served until 5pm. No value for money. Definitely won't be back.

Three of us had a wonderful dinner here - everything was perfect. I would 100% recommend booking a table. We sat outside which was very comfortable and the service was great. Our food was very tasty and the drinks were well made, especially the cocktails. It’s one of the more high end restaurants with the prices to match.
