We ordered some Apache Combo and part of some pork meat was not well done. We then as politely to get it well done, then The Manager came by himself to assist us and apologized. Besides it was not a complaint to us, we just find the stuff very welcoming and able to please their customers. Thank you so much Mr Manager ( Apache Spur Steak Cape Town) Salute.

Very nice place to get a steak and fries, as well as a beer or cider! I had the Brazilian Steak. Also a nice place to get a cappuccino. I wish I could remember the name of the man who served us, he was very nice. This was in early January.

Great food! I didn't have to wait to long and I was greeted by the hostess as soon as I entered. Staff kind and food came quick. I'll definitely come again! The atmosphere was also very great and the food was affordable and nicely done to my request!!

i gave 5 stars for wasting my time and money... i ordered uber eats , i ordered the ribs with hot veg, only after putting my meal together on a plate, i got a funny smell from the container that the veg came in, only after eating it the spinach was completely off and taste sour, and spoiled my whole meal... after spending R700 on this meal, i regret spending that money on a disappointing meal. you can come collect this food, from me as my dog wont eat it even. i even phone the store but that was not help, as they told me they made it yesterday.

Don't know what is happening here now...your waiting time for your food is unexcaptable . Like who should wait up to 45 minutes to get their food? And it's the 2nd time its happening, the last time I left before I could even order , it took forever to get someone to take the order. This used to be my favourite Spur .

Although the food was tasty, the service we received was terrible. We waited long for someone to eventually take our order including waited long on food to be served. Staff is extremely unfriendly. The table behind us called a waiter as she was passing to ask for something; then before person could ask her she told him I'll send your waiter🤨not even being interested is customer's need. It's people like this that should be in "public servant' sectors.

I been part of the spur family for over 36 years , so not its greatest fan anymore. This was one of the worst I been to... prices at better class of restaurants are cheaper. And the schnitzel was really dry and small... the burger was really dry and bun was old... but we have kids and they determine where I go to now... was really disappointed.. service was not bad.

Service was quite awkward, hostess was opening our food and having discussions with other staff members over our food.. Bit slow, however the burger was nice, but the chips had a piece of wire and some burnt piece of chip at the bottom that made me lose my appetite. First time going there and a real off-putting experience

The service was so poor. They gave my friend and I, menus and forgot about us. We had to ask for our table to be served. Our table was attended by 3 people who never introduced themselves, the waitress who gave us menus, the waiter who took our order and the waiter who served us food. Never have I experienced such bad service in Spur. It my first and last time visiting it.

Received such excellent service from Christelle and Cookie this morning. They anticipated my order well, and was able to ensure I was given prompt and efficient service. A very satisfied customer this morning. Always an enjoyable experience from Apache Spur.

Ordered a peppermint tart with cream took a bite of the cream cause I so love it 😒 my stomach is not feeling well I didn't know the cream is old cream or it's off or something my stomach don't feel well after eating this now nasua beyond 😣 ... And I ordered it through bolt foods . Feel beyond nasua after eating of it and this never happens to me. By any other spur it's a 1st. 😣 Bottom part of the cream seems watery like it was standing for a few days or something . Bad experience 😣😣😣😣 . But thank you to management for replacing the hole item I fully appreciate your efforts although the lady who brought the desert was very angry and moody lol 😅 please ask her to smile more or something

Absolute poor service . Waited for 10 minutes till we could place an order and when we did we had to wait 40+ minutes till we got our food and to make matters worse , the stuff was not apologetic. The food even came ice cold . Totally unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this place even if it was the last food place .

Waiter was friendly food came out quickly chips was a small portion though. The restaurant was clean all covid 19 protocols observed. Disappointed in the small mug they use for filter coffee. It is a rainy winter's morning in Cpt I expected the same sized mug other Spurs use. Other than that a good experience.

The best Spur meal I have had in a very long time. I have been to many Spurs across the country and can't remember the last time Spur tasted THIS good. (I had a juicy, tender Rib burger with yummy chips and onion rings) Our waitress, Nana, was lovely.

Waitresses is not attentive. Food is cold when it arrives at the table. White clients gets more attention then coloureds and blacks. Don't know if the waitresses fear of not getting a tip. I always tip where I'm treated fairly and the service is up to standard. Not recommended! Won't ever go there again!

The service is very poor,the place is soo untidy especially the rest rooms..when food is served the plates are messy. The welcome horrible,been there two times still no change.

Our waitress, Zaman, was helpful and friendly and did not bother us. She was available and courteous and we loved that. Mandy the manager was super chatty and informative. She helped create a lively welcoming atmosphere. We like the changes and look forward to being "the regulars". Joss

I recently had an experience at a restaurant where the food wasn't enjoyable, and the service was quite slow, even though the place wasn't crowded. It got to a point where I had to call another waiter just to settle the bill. The only thing that made up for it was the hot chocolate, the person I was with had to drink her tea without milk as it came late and the tea had already gone cold.

Waiter was nice had so much fun with my little family, thanks to Keeno the waiter for great service, more visits because of him

The food was good, but the waiter, Jabulani, service was terrible. Gave me attitude as if i was eating for free. He took very long to come take my order, didn't even introduce himself. I asked for the bill after having my meal, which also took ages, i had to stand and go ask the Manager near the door to pay, Jabulani eventually appeared with the bill. I heard the Manager saying I was sitting on Table 4. Otherwise great food and wonderful atmosphere.

After a night out myself an my boyfriend went to spur. Walking up the stairs we sat waiting for someone to tell us if it's full or not which the store wasn't it was half empty we waited almost 10 minutes for someone to ask us where we wanted to sit. If not for my boyfriend to ask the lady an her friend if they are gonna show us our seats we would've still be waiting got to a dirty table no knife was given a lady came asking what we would like to order. Waited so long for our food which was half cold an cold warm I was so disappointed with the service our food we still wanted dessert but your service is just bad I don't even think if there was a manager on duty for me to tell him or her about it spur is really not the same no more your staff doesn't take note of your customer being there #nothankyounotagain

I ordered the warrior combo, the pork chop was as small as a burger patty, the ribs were very small only 3 bones and the onion rings were completely burnt 😭😭😭i don’t understand what this is about… i paid almost 350 rand for this meal but i didn’t enjoy anything of it😡😡😡😡😡i am very disappointed and will never set my foot 🦶 and I will tell my friends also 😏😏😏

First day in Cape Town and I was looking forward to dining at the Apache Spur in Strand street. The greeter was nonchalant, and the waitress unenthusiastic. Contemplated walking out...but I hadn't eaten all day...so here we are... Will be hard pressed to return here in the future as I dropped a mushroom on the table...and then wiped off the table, only to find the serviette black from a lack of proper cleaning. It was absolutely disgusting...and Ebrahim, the Manager, just stood there, doing absolutely nothing. I seriously think the Health Dept. needs to pay this premises a visit!

It is a chain restaurant, so everything is considered standard, no complain at all. But I am frustrated that they have over charged me. The bill was R240 incl tips but they charged my credit card for R420 !!!!! I am on biz trip and has left Cape Town ! How can I get refund ?

I absolutely love the Spur grilled bacon. I love the R49 Unreal breakfast. The toast was crispy, I can't stand bendable soft toast. We also love their Ceylon tea which is enough for 2 people. We always have a few pots though. Thank goodness their tea is not served in those rusty cast iron pots that other high end restaurants uses. I went to a fancy restaurant (not Spur)in the upmarket suburb of Newlands and the rusty pot was creaping me out. I read an article once that rust might cause alzeimers, whether it's true or not, I don't feel like taking that risk. So we really like Spur tea, it also just tastes good and different to other restaurants that also use 5 roses and stainless steel pots. We think the milk might have something to do with it. On the whole we had a lovely experience, our waiter was a very helpful sweet young chap. Love Spur

I ordered a T-bone steak and veggies. The butternut was burnt and the spinach was not creamy but very pasty I do not know what was in there. The steak tasted like it was boiled and then dipped in the barbeque sauce, no taste of grill none whatsoever. The food was cold and I asked for it to be re-heated but it came back (after a while) still cold. After I had reported that the food was not good the manager came to my table and then left whilst I was still talking to address something else. He then came back with a pen and paper asking me to write down my details. It has been over a month still no contact.

There is no urgency to serve a customer. By the time we received our order, we were tired of waiting. Other customers were also complaining about the waiting time......maybe all the stuff is under training 🤷‍♀️ ..... There is no wheelchair access to this joint! We struggled to take up our baby stroller.....

I walken in nobody was there to greet me or direct me where to go,ddnt Wana be rude and seat myself so I waited... eventually somebody paid attention... Got to my table waited about 15 minutes to make contact with a waitress so I could order and she totally ignored me ....until a manager came past and he then had to serve me till the end!!!...At 1 point after I had ordered my meal I wanted to add another salad so I got up to order wt another lady that was close by me,to my surprise she told me she couldn't take my order as she wasn't serving me,that finished me!!!....so I had to go find my manager guy whose name is Ebrahim ...so seems the managers have to carry the waiters at this branch...Such a shame!!!

My ribs and wings today weren't fresh and were very dry with little to no sauce basting. The waitress forgot to put in more fries instead of onion rings and to also add spice to the fries. Plus the Spur sauce they added with the meal tasted diluted. :(
