Probably the best steak I had in my life! A must try it you are in Cape Town. Be sure to book in advance as they are always busy. I would definitely recommend the bone marrow rib-eye steak had medium rare!

A unique experience. And it tastes good. A polite reception, where they gave us olives and Crispy potato chips for free and after eating the meal, they gave us a glass of liquid chocolate. Of course worth a revisit. I only have one note. I hope restaurants don't throw food waste in the trash. There are a lot of poor and homeless people on the streets who would certainly enjoy a free meal. I took the rest of my meal to a homeless guy. Let us work together for humanity and the environment.

Came in after a cycle absolutely starving, no reservations and I forgot to bring shoes for my husband ( he was barefoot). Management and staff were absolutely great. Off to a good start with complimentary homemade crisps and olive board. Our food arrived quickly, cooked to perfection and generous servings. The atmosphere was relaxed and complimented by familiar favourites music playlist. We left feeling happy and fulfilled. (Special thanks to our waitress Tania and manager Clayton. You guys were excellent ).

We drove across the Whole of the Cape Flats to get here and absolutely worth every mile! Friendly reception, great location, wonderful atmosphere and a menu to satisfy most food lovers. Our dishes were prepared with care and cooked to perfection. Big portions and well priced. The Hussar grill will see us back soon!

Best services, outstanding food, fresh and on your table within minutes of ordering, and such a treat was the chocolate vodka. Only criticism is parking. And I would defiantly book, it's very popular.

Great steak and fast service. Do you have an option of selecting and viewing all the various types of steaks and choosing how well you would like it cooked. I suggest ordering several sides as the steak only comes with meat.

The COMPLIMENTARY welcome snacks on arrival (rosemary infused olives and kettle fried chips) and the chocolate vodka martini (any chocolate lovers dream) to conclude your meal is most definitely very unique and great quality! Loved it. I was promptly seated (perks of solo travel). My waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. As starters, I ordered Biltong (1st time trying it) and the Calamari. I order Calamari wherever/whenever I see it on a menu. Both were good but Biltong isn't my thing but I definitely wanted to try a South African food item. For my main course I ordered the Ostrich with a green salad on the side and omg the Ostrich was 🤌🏾delicious. Also my 1st time trying it. Ended my evening with a cheesecake and was given a complimentary Chocolate Martini, yummy. I didn't even tell them it was my birthday. Additionally, I also had a espresso martini which was perfectly made.

My first night in Cape Town and I came here for dinner, and it was incredible! Our server, Sharon, was super helpful and friendly, talked us through the cuts of meat and game meat. All our dishes were delicious, all very tasty and cooked perfectly. The mussels were great and the chorizo with squid was delectable!

It was my first time at this Hussar Grill, which two birthday ladies decided upon for the celebrations. The online booking process was easy with a friendly welcome upon arrival. Parking on the main road can be tricky, but there is also parking down the side street. Love that there is no corkage fee and the table is set with complimentary olives and crisps. We ordered from the special two-course menu for R175 pp. It's good value for money. My creamy garlic snails were divine, as was my grilled hake. The two birthday ladies thoroughly enjoyed their steaks, while the deboned chicken for the gentleman was deliciously tender. Unfortunately, he received peri-peri chicken when he'd ordered lemon and garlic. The error was rectified, but the correct dish took a while to arrive, by which time we'd all finished our meals. The accompanying sides were okay - creamed spinach & butternut, but the onion rings were a letdown. Our starters took quite a while to arrive, and there was a mix-up with our main order, which resulted in a further delay. A bowl of biltong was brought to keep the hunger pangs at bay, as well as divine Chocolate Vodka Martinis at the end of our meal. The birthday card for each birthday girl was a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and we will return again. The relaxed ambiance and cozy interior are made for long, leisurely meal experiences. So if you're in a hurry, look elsewhere.

Sometimes you find those ‘pearls’ in the mids of all type of restaurants you want to go back to. This one is a ‘pearl’ of a steakhouse! Amazing steaks and meat. The appetizers were amazing. Home cooked chips and fresh olives! Only the chips alone were a reason to come back! The wine selection is amazing and -for European standards- very affordable. Then the food itself: the expectation was high and they reached their full experience. Amazing place, crowded but not ‘busy’, friendly and amazing helpful staff. A place to come back to and highly recommended.

Up there with the best steak I’ve had! Great atmosphere in the restaurant, excellent service and good wine list. All round great value and no complaints!

What a great way to celebrate 🍾 👏 my moms 60th birthday 🎂, we had such a great time, we had a scheduling conflict that was easily and well handled by the manager on duty, this was appreciated, thank you. Our server was just exceptional, he was cheerful and all around great, made our experience a lovely one. Will certainly return. Thank you Hussar grill, also no corkage

Cozy and unpretentious dinner spot by the waterfront. Sharon was wonderful as our server and explained the different cuts available as well as her recommendations. There are game meats available as well. Personally enjoyed the rump cuts. The blue cheese steak is suitable if you really love blue cheese as it can be a bit overpowering. We also tried the mussel pot and calamari with chorizo as starters. Sharon also brought us vodka chocolate at the end to finish off our meal, which was delicious (but dangerous! As you can barely taste the vodka). Would definitely recommend this steak restaurant 👍

A good Steak that I would recommend everywhere. The locality was near to our place and was a recommendation from someone. We enjoyed the filet as much as the t-bone steak but the aditional salad was not very special and the fried fries on the table with the dried wors were to fatfull and not very tasty. Nevertheless thank you for the service which was very good done by a young lady. Thanks.

I had the best experience! Be burger I've ever had! I still believe the chef was on a fighting mode, you can't make food that good and tell me "it's all in a days work"! I refuse to believe it! The waiter was wonderful, the atmosphere was calm - as I like it to be, I loved it! Definitely going back

Not the best customer service but well it is what it is. The sirloin wasn’t as tasty as I thought it would be. The fries were also very oily and crumbled. But nice ambiance. Ooh almost forgot. Their in-house wine!! Amazing.

Went for the seasonal lunch special on a quiet weekday. Server was great and the food impeccable. Had the calamari strips for starters, sirloin with creamed spinach and pumpkin as sides and a virgin mojito. Left feeling satisfied and pleased. Knocked off one star because some of the other staff were very loud with chit chatter which was not representative of the establishment.

Great lunch with good friends and they had a lunch special with great selection too choose from. The service was great and they were very attentive and always on hand when we needed anything. Warm friendly welcome and didn't wait long for any of the food items too arrive. So if you are keen on a quick lunch or a celebration of any kind they are willing and able too assist.

Had a lovely lunch here. Tasty ribs! Great service and ambience. Very good wine list and the chocolate martinis was a lovely touch.

The Hussar Grill Mouille Point gets 5 stars today! Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, great vibe, and excellent waiting staff! I will visit again to try more items from the menu. I can highly recommend them.

Great experience with my mom, the food and staff was amazing. Love the view also, definitely coming back for more meals!
