Nice beach. very busy place, so make sure to choose a quiet day to visit. Some nice resturants on the beach as well. Be careful for the cyclists that seem to think they have right of way in the parking lot. Make sure to capture the, Muizenberg ClichΓ©.

I could retire here. Surf πŸ„β€β™‚οΈ 🌊 πŸ„β€β™€οΈ school is open all day. The sand is soft and white. The water is cold but swimming was manageable. My son enjoyed the water. I loved relaxing in the sand and watching the waves. The view reminded me of something out of a pirate ☠️ movie. False Bay water is the Indian Ocean. Beautiful people around. Watching Kids learning to surf was so enjoyable. People at this beach seem very relaxed.

Amazing and always clean beach. Love walking on the white sands, watching the surfers surfing in the cold water during the winter months. Colourful changing rooms have been upgraded and looks smashing.

This a lovely clean beach with white sand and plenty of space for any kind of beach activity. Ideal for kids and playing facilities for them. I visited at a time when there were not to many people but I can see that this spot is a favorite place to spend a day at the beach.

Always a favourite. The beach is always packed with surfers 24/7 almost. Great spot with friendly people all round. Great spot to learn how to surf too. Many places to rent surfboards and wetsuits at a great price.

Beautiful place to relax. The water was cold but tolerable. The beach was clean and therefore welcoming. The beach is family friendly and safe. The toilets close at 3pm which made it uncomfortable to be there later to enjoy the waters. Its next to train station therfore you'll always be able to get home. Theres a lovely walkway to enjoy the views which makes the perfect sum up after a productive day.

This beach is very beautiful & windy. The beach has some beautiful colorful huts, shown in many movies. The beach is not so clean but is good for kite surfing & other water sports.

A must visit when coming to Cape Town. With it's iconic colourful beach huts, the huts is a sight to behold with all the different colours it almost looks like painting perfect pictures. Go to the beach and enjoy it to the full with either having a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants, drinks on the go, there are a big variety of beverage shops along the strip at the beach or just an ice cream while taking a stroll along the beach or promenade walk way. Dogs welcome and surfers are like seagulls, they are everywhere to be seen. Whether you want to learn to surf, body board or just spend the day out at sea Muizenberg Beach has some of the best waves and some of the best views of Cape Town's beautiful wall art of local artists and mountains.

Beautiful beach, despite being cloudy when I was there. Its busy with surfers, so it's safe to walk around, take photos. There are also many coffee shops and restaurants near by.

It was in the morning and a but cloudy but quote a wonderful beach. A lot of surfers being coached. Wonderful coffee shops along the beach. Very homely atmosphere where everyone knows everyone! Seems time hasn't touched it, heavenly.

Always the best "corner" of the earth.... Come shine or rain.... Lovely for walks to other nearby beaches/tidal pools (easily accessible) Awesome to just sit in the car and watch the rain/sunrise/rainbow 🌈

Half the beach is okay little less seaweed and the houses is in a better shape. The the other half more on the water slide side is not a great place to swim , there is alot of seaweed and the houses seen better days if it is still standing.

Beautiful beach. Visited in November so there were some strong winds but luckily there wasn't a lot of sand so it's possible for one to chill on the beach. Quite a few restaurants very close by - not too busy but also not a ghost town, very nice if you want the security of other people's presence but not overcrowding. Relatively safe - I did not experience any security concerns. People seem friendly. Defintely want to go back again. <3

Muizenburg Beach is one of the regular spots that are visited often, especially by surfers and beach lovers. It has everything you need around it. From restaurants, to coffee shops, hiring out surf boards and most importantly, ice cream shops. The toilets are kept clean, so it's safe to use. I would recommend using the restaurants though. There are many activities that are around the beach which may interest you, such as guided walks, surfing or just relaxing on the beach. I can't sugarcoat anything, but you need to be careful of theives as well. Watch your belongings. Other than that, it's a beautiful place to be!

Always a great experience for a quick trip to the beach. Fairly clean and bathrooms are cleaner than expected. Great variety of stores to visit and after trying a few Lucky Fish is definitely your go to for quality, affordable fish and chips πŸŸπŸ™πŸ πŸŸ Icecream - haven't found the perfect fix yet. The affordable one is dodgy, the expensive one is wayyyy too over priced. Maybe it's time for a new fish to enter town in that regard?

Picturesque beach with white sand and those iconic colorful huts! Very popular amongst surfers, both new and experienced - there are several stores dedicated to the craft. Find a bite to eat with the many restaurants on offer.

I visited this beautiful beach on Saturday in Feb and it was very busy. You can find the iconic colourful change rooms here.

The water is somewhat warmer than the other beaches. The colourful houses are changerooms. The beach gets very busy during the holidays. It's best to visit early.

A vibrant and busy beach. Lovely for surfing, not the best spot for sunbathing or a relaxing beach chill.

The experience is like no other, perfectly refreshing breeze tied with good vibes. Nothing short of Top Quality convenience, surfing stores with unbelievable rental deals for a good measure of fun activities. After diving deep, and your tummy rumble enjoy the best menus of restaurants onshore.

There is an abundance of different things I love about this beach. Sunset swims, when Gordon's bay in the distance is lit up in pink and orange hues. The sea can be a fair temperature at times. Otherwise, just go for a run along St James, then you're warmed up and good to go for your swim!

It’s a beautiful beach. I went on a warm sunny day and the water was just right! I’d love nothing more than to return here again someday.

I could definitely spend the rest of my life in this place. The colourfulness and the brightness makes the ambience more comfortable and welcoming. The weather is to die for, from it's beautiful misty mornings to the bright and shiny day through out the entire day which make it a perfect playground for surfers who ride the waves with pride and at the same time keeping us entertained. I'd move to Muizenburg at any given chance.

What an absolute disgrace for the WesternCape. Once a beautiful beach and now this. The beautiful little change rooms, that features on postcards and brochures for tourists, are in such a state that I won't dare enter any of them. There are vagrants everywhere and safety is an issue. The beach was supper crowded as well and nobody seems to pick up their trash. Traffic is terrible, bathrooms are terrible, rubbish everywhere, rotting seaweeds and broken glass on the beach etc. Stay away people, not worth it!

The water was amazing and clean. There are a lot of restaurants around. Safe the cops are very visible.
