I liked the closeness of the beach and the dusk air from the ocean. Seeing people training and playing around creates a certain atmosphere. Does get very busy but carve yourself a place out that is comfortable in your mind and it will be worth it

The promenade offers all citizens and tourists, young and old, an ideal opportunity to take a brisk walk or a jog. Motorized scooters and bicycles are for hire as well.

The beach was great. Open to the public and busy as it always is. You can take a walk, relax or enjoy many of the entertainments offered at Sea Point. You can also grab a bike and ride along the beach. Watch the sunset or have a photoshoot. It's family friendly. You can find the Sea Point pools near by.

Nice tiny little spot to relax at. The park next to it is a bit bland though.

Not great. Pebble sand and not very well kept.

Watch your head for incoming paragliders... πŸ˜‰ Seriously though... can't they employ some people to warn landlubbers of the incoming adrenalin junkies (or cordon off areas)? That way we could get some nicer πŸ“Έ

Very stunning views. The sea breeze always a joy to breath. Scenic for morning jogs or anytime strolls. Best seat for waves as they splash by the walls.

Beautiful views, had a lonely walk on the beach ⛱️

It's a pity the water is so polluted and the rocks stripped bare of any sea life.....but still a lovely spot otherwise. Families love to hang out here. But I won't go in the water in Sea Point. It's only for visual pleasure these days, (if one ignores the misplaced plastic, fast food, diapers & trash, Sea Point is still nice. It takes a hell of a lot of unconscious humans to ruin nature. If a plastic bag is floating by and one has the pleasure of a spare five minutes, you can fill it with trash quite easily. I wish more folks could make this past time trendy.

Nothing beats a family walk/bike ride/jog, late afternoon in our Beautiful Cape Town. The area here is clean, play equipment well maintained for the little ones, benches for adults to sit on and the views are spectacular.

Beautiful promenade use for going for walks, running and doing all kinds of sports in the outdoor gyms. Great look at Lion's Head. From here, Cape Town looks a little like Miami.

What an awesome day. My dad recently passed away. Rockland's Beach was his favourite place when taking us for a drive. It was as though I felt his presence.

Absolutely loved it. People seemed to be happy out again. Of course wearing masks and following social distancing. Only thing I really miss is being able to experience the sane between my toes againπŸ˜‰

If you just looking to go for a walk and soak up the sun or even to exercise. Their is outdoor gyms and many top restaurants to sit down to dine. I have been to many countries and also been to all the major cities across South Africa but Rocklands beach really tops them all.

One fabulous place to take a romantic stroll and just enjoy the fresh ocean air. It does get crowded some times so manage your time in covid during crowdy periods. There are amazing places to eat and have a coffee in the fecinity.

Ideal to put your feet in the water. A perfect spot to relax. However, when the tides are strong, it can pull you in.

Lovely prom to walk along with several grassy areas ideal for a picnic BUT the beach itself is a small stony section with very little proper sand and seaweed for 2m in so difficult spot to take a dip.
