Clean,peacefull and safe environment..Kids!? Love it!?

Park caters for everyone, the skate park is in need of some maintenance though. This place provides a real positive outlet for the community, hence keeping it maintained is critical.

A beautifully well kept and safe 2.5 km trail type flat course, accompanied by activities for everyone - play pin, climbing wall, under shaded seating, manned toilets, braai facilities, electrical points, and open field for gold or soccer.

Nice Family time spent at the Nantes love the braai and seating facilities and the toilets are clean

A beautiful area & view of the mountains. I come here reasonably often for Parkrun on a Saturday morning. Upkeep of the park is a bit neglected and many of the light poles have had their wires stripped for the copper. The Parkrun community do their best to ensure the marked route is clear but one has to be careful off broken glass if you stray off the designated path. It would be nice if council could clear the river of debris more often. It saddens me to see the pollution.

Nice place to take active kids to get rid of their energy, lots of activities but some equipment getting damage and aren't maintained.

The place is absolutely beautiful and very nice for a family picnic. It also have braai facilities, the restrooms are clean and well maintained, the skate park also provides fun for the kids as well as the play park with slides, etc. There's also picnic tables that is covered and provides seating and space to sit and converse with each other and there's enough parking space.

Nice place, play ground in good condition and kepted clean.

Nantes is a beautiful park, created for us to enjoy, but, Sadly spoilt by vandilism. Not safe, there seems to be cameras, but not sure if it works.

The Nantes has always been a great place to bring your family and have a picnic. The views are breathtaking. I do feel the park is a kids attraction which needs abit of maintenance. All in all a great place for taking wedding photos and make some great memories.

Today 19:12:2021 i was sitting at my daughters place opposite Nantes Park there was a birthday party of a child that was 1 a security guard present escorting the lady to show where she wants the birthday party to be set up he assisted with taking the birthday goodies out of the car helping out by fetching bricks to stabilize the backdrop or the theme party..He was standing there from the start till the birthday party was over..while packing up i saw the people giving the stuff on through the fence..but what surprise me is the security guard a male standing and helping giving the stuff on while the guests walk through the fence that was opened up by the security guard for them to get quicker access to their cars that was standing in the parking area..when they was done existing the security guard personally close up the fence where he opened it for them..they got special VIP service by Nantes security while the rest who visited the park had to walk to the entrance to gain entry...just want to know are the security guard allowed to break a fence opened for people to get quicker access out of the park

Fantastic place we had a family fun day A picnic in the park. It is safe our cars were safe fantastic for the kids to run around. Lots of play park activities and Skateboard rides. You must book opp the Nantes there is Bridgetown high school there is a office opposite you must make you bookings there nice for birthday parties or any family functions.

Some places no grass, just sand. A lot of school kids playing in the park with school uniform on and No security was to be seen. The buildings look like it has been depleted, like no one is looking after it.

It's a good place to sit back and just feel nature, sun trees and wind in your hair. Parking is nice few things need fixing but free outdoors always a bonus.

Relaxing atmosphere. Kids will enjoy. They can jungle Jim. Skateboard or bike ride and also play in the park. There are benches so you can picnic. You can hire for birthday parties and also there are braai facilities which you book

Park neat and tidy..very spacious.has a gym as well which is cool that kids and adults can use.

A very nice and upgraded local park. Good to take your dog for a walk if it is disciplined enough. Great facilities for kids and picnic areas.

Did the parkrun here. Interesting course, part cross country, part paved. The park itself is quite well maintained, although sections of the footpath need repairing

It was a fairly good place to tske a stroll. Some places do need to be cleaned on a regular basis as undesirables do attend the park alot.

A beautiful, vast recreational space, with many amenities... Especially for family time. However I would only advise visiting over weekends, when there are a good number of people about, for purposes of safety.

There are spots/pavements that need to be fix which is very dangerous.

Lots of shade and activities for the kids and great for kids party's and it's free

Beautifully done. A pity that the facilities are vandalized by ignorant individuals and still a sense of insecurity due to the fact that individuals still go there to do drugs, but a great place to go for walks and a run (not alone of course) More visible security perhaps?

I love Nantes park because the location is near my home and shopping mall.

So beautiful... Pity about the amount of thorns in the grass, but really lovely to visit.
