Premiere hotel Cape Town review: For a 4 star hotel this hotel surely did not live up to its rating. My experience was the worst experience I have ever experienced in any hotel and this is only my second day here, even the 3 star hotels I've ever booked at far exceed the standards of this hotel. Very bad service is an understatement, this hotel does not look after its clients one bit. The workers here easily argue with a client when you raise a concern. The family sitting next to us shared how bad their experience at this hotel is aswell. We complained about our breakfast, we complained about our dinner, their deck is left with used towels that we are told to use aswell if we get out of the pool as they do not have any fresh towels. They hang their towels to dry off on the chairs by the pool deck. They even charge you for drinking alcohol that they do not sell. Champagne is charged per bottle if you make a plan to buy it from outside, yet they do not sell it at their bar. Dirty tables, dirty chairs.. No one to attend to you.. Very very bad service.. I'd never recommend this place to anyone, I wish this was my last night at this dreadful place. Horrible to say the least!!!!

Spectacular service to their guests. Located on the perfect spot overlooking the beautiful ocean and also not very far from it if one would like to take a stroll on the shore. Top class and variety of foods for breakfast and dinner.

We met a very nice lady at the reception, very welcoming, I forgot her name, check in was quick, the gents carried our bags upstairs, it was a bonus for us to have checked in at around 12. Safety: we felt safe throughout our stay. Bedrooms were nice, clean and spacious, enough cupboards to pack our things, bathroom was well organised with clean towels, I didn’t appreciate the brown tile on the floor, the texture felt weird to step on. The carpets had an unpleasant smell especially the ones by the passage, bedrooms it wasn’t that bad. Also the mirror by the lift needs to be wiped, it is so dusty. Breakfast: we went down to eat the buffet , was told to sit down by the waiting area because it was full, no one attended to us after that, people that came after us got sits before us, the dining area is too small, they should consider upgrading it. Food was delicious I give them 10/10. Supper: Joseph/ Jonas ( forgot the name) and the supervisor a female and male that attended to us were helpful and kind to us. Food was nice but they should consider adding more dish, especially dishes that accommodate kids. Friday morning the lady that was cleaning my room used a bath rope to wipe the toilet sit, I find that disgusting, it’s a cross contamination, yes it will be washed but it is not meant to wipe toilet sits. Please may you correct this. Overall: the hotel is at a great location, stuff is extremely kind n helpful. Thank you for making us feel like we home. Also the man that transported us to water front, he was extremely good with us, very kind, helpful, he made our trip extra special, we sang in the car and he didn’t complain, we that hotel for that complementary trips to water front.

A perfectly situated hotel in Sea Point. Fantastic food. Compliments to the chef and his staff. Good variety of foods at the dinner and breakfast buffets. Our 4 night stay was fabulous. Our loft family room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Jeffery and all the staff on duty while we were there, were friendly and extremely helpful. Always greeted by a smile and a friendly face. Definitely worth a visit to this beautiful hotel. A special Thank you to Mr Bray for the stay and special treat.

We stayed there 4 nights over Christmas. Really nice and clean hotel. We had Christmas lunch, which was delicious. The food was really good, staff super friendly. In the evening in the bar we have tried really good wine... the guys in the evening did a really good job. I will definitely recommend it, and I will definitely come back there. Thank you very much.

We had an excellent stay. Your staff was exceptional so welcoming and so helpful at all times. We arrived early and they accommodated us with a room so we could leave our baggage and move on. I truly appreciated this. Your hotel has never even left us in the dark with loadshedding. That is a real plus for us as we could charge our phones, use the wifi, lights, hairdryer at any time, and we could even watch the world cup. Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to a future booking with you.

Food and service is great! Went on a girls weekend there in 2020 and had our year end function in 2022...Staff is still friendly and helpful. Love the renovation they did to the deck so if it's winter you can still relax outside and watch the view from there!😍

I am amazed at the service here, absolutely amazing but the cup goes to "Uncle Aaron (The driver)" 🚗. He is literally the best driver I've met in the entire time I've travelled this country! His service and expertise are of no doubt, international standard. This man deserves to run the whole transportation department 💯!!!! Him and the security team are the reason I'll be coming back next year 😁 well ofcourse the whole staff played a role as well. What a phenomenal team!!

We stayed over the Christmas and New Year break for 9 nights. The room which was allocated to us was not in a good condition. The bed was itchy, bedding had stains on it. The carpet was not vacuumed for the entire 9 day period we were there. On arrival we noted that the aircon did not work as well as the TV remote which we informed the reception 3 times of and was ignored all 3 times. The room had no mini bar fridge which was an inconvenience in the Cape Town heat. Breakfast was a disappointment as it was the same spread for the entire time. When calling the reception the phone rings continuously. The only good thing about the hotel is the location being so close to the Sea Point Promenade.

Our stay at premier hotel was lovely. Mr. Banda at the reception made our stay at the property very pleasant with his great hospitality services. The room was beautiful with a great view of the ocean.

We spent one night in this hotel while passing through Cape Town. It was quite aged and could need some renovation. Also the room cleaning was not impeccable. The location of the hotel was great, just a few meters from the Sea Point promenade, where you can watch the sunset and have various surrounding restaurants within walking distance. The check-in and service at the front desk was excellent, highlighting Jeffrey who was able to accommodate our requests. Thank you again!

After I arrived and I couldn't get the room which I ordered so I was a little upset. But a very committed and professional manager handeld the situation excellent. His name is Mr Cloete. He was presenting the company top notch and made a plan for me without any hassle In the end I had a fantastic 3 days stay in this hotel. Thank you

My husband and I recently stayed at the Premier hotel in Sea Point for a week and to say that it was a disappointing stay is generous. The room was one of the smallest I’ve ever experienced. There was no place to put a suitcase (let alone two), the bathroom was so small that one could barely use it without bumping into the sink, the carpet was in dire need of a cleaning. The breakfast and dinner buffets were repetitive and expensive for the quality. Two members of our group had all their cash stolen from the room safe in what was obviously an inside job. They immediately told the front desk and asked that the police be called. The front desk employee did everything he could to dissuade them, saying that the police wouldn’t come, wouldn’t do anything, would subject them to lie detector tests, that there was no way of knowing who might have accessed their room as there were no cameras in the hotel. He only agreed to call the police when someone else in our group insisted loudly. The police came immediately and demanded to see the security footage which, miraculously, the same employee was able to produce. The culprits were eventually found and arrested but the hotel staff, manager and general manager seemed unwilling to help. This incident only served to confirm our low opinion of the hotel.

Good hotel, centrally located in Cape Town near the ocean view. Restaurant was of excellent quality, both at breakfast and dinner. Rooms small but clean. Service at front desk was careful and professional. The street is quite and safe (there are a church and a sinagogue). Several restaurants in the nearby and approx half hour walking distance from the V&A Waterfront. I would recommend it.

We had a family vacation, our stay was one to remember. Special thanks to the afternoon restaurant team, Connie and her team, they went all out to make our stay memorable. They helped us to pull a surprise birthday party for Mom. One of the team members (Paneche) baked a cake and the rest of the ladies did an amazing decoration. Thank you so much guys ❤️ I also met Annie and Samantha (from the room service) incredible ladies.

I stayed here for a weekend on short notice, and they managed to get our rooms ready in a few minutes. Upon arrival the lobby had a weird smell, like a "gas leak" smell (obviously not sure what it was, but there was a smell). When entering the rooms, it was clean and comfortable to be in. However, the rooms also had a "stuffy" smell to it, which we managed to remove it by turning on the aircon. Make sure you book a sea-view room, because if you don't, you are just staring into another buildings wall and windows. The service here is Topnotch! The cleaning ladies were soooo kind and friendly. They did an amazing job at looking after us, and our rooms. The other staff are all professional, attentive, and friendly. I would definitely come back here just for how they treat you.

Disappointing to know that a 4 star charges extra for room service in the evening..we were told to pay R50 or fetch the food ourselves downstairs which I'd rather strange. Rooms:1 plug point in a double room not sufficient if one needs to charge 2 phoned or phone and laptop. Please review the R50 pay for room service as that doesn't sound like standard service for a 4star.

Generally friendly staff and very clean rooms but note that parking space is extremely limited! Don't book there if you are driving and require parking space! The room I got did not have a phone or a fridge. Otherwise, all was fine.

The service was excellent. Luthle welcome us to the hotel. His service was amazing. The hotel upgraded one of our rooms to a executive suite, that was awesome. Luthle was very kind and always was there to help. We asked for a fridge and he gave is for our room. The rooms was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed staying here. I would definitly come stay here again. Every single stuff who i have talked to was so nice. Jeffrey and Mbayo gave me good service. There only 3 faults i found was the pool was dirty, and the bed was small for queen size bed. They need to increase for parking spaces. Everything else i enjoyed. I would recommend people to stay here

Only my first day but it is in walking distance of everything I need. They do have secure parking which is necessary in SA. The room we we have is very nice with big bath. Would rather have a larger bed but the location is more important.

My family are strict vegetarians. We don't consume egg either.Chef Jessica ensured that our breakfast was catered for. Plant based did not mean meat alternative in the form of soya. We had eggless pancakes, fresh avo, veg shakshuka, gelatin free yoghurt and delicious food. In the evenings Chef Themabani ensured all our needs were met with from starters, mains to dessert. We were given options, they were open to suggestions and very acommodating. We even had egg free chocolate brownie and lemon cake for dessert. As a whole staff are excellent. The family room is spacious neat and clean. Location is excellent a few meters from the promenade. Won't hesitate to stay again.

When we checked in, they did not know that we upgraded to a family room, although my whole family sat in the reception area. With loadshedding, the whole family room side of the hotel did not have a generator. We had to carry our own luggage up 4 flights of stairs, because there was no porter in sight. The restaurant does not serve any vegetarian dishes, therefore we had to walk to find a restaurant. They could not give us a flashlight, and the emergency light in our room stopped working. They did not tell us how the plugs work to charge our phones. There was no fridge. The first morning of breakfast, we told them there are 4 people in the room and that breakfast is included in our price. The second morning with breakfast, I had to tell them again. With checkout, they told me I have an outstanding breakfast bill. The beds are horrible and there is only one bathroom in the family room. It was an unpleasant stay and we will not be going back there.

Thank you for the amazing stay. We stayed 5 nights. Excellent location. We enjoyed to see the incredible sunsets every night from the hotel. Promenade is endless, lots to see and do ie mini golf, swimming in the rock pools, yoga on the week ends, outdoor gym etc... the hotel staff is very friendly. Speak to Jeffrey and his staff to arrange your day trips. Very good breakfast. A chef cooks your omelette or eggs plus buffet . Room is cleaned everyday. Not happening in the USA these days anymore. Fitness room is having a makeover and they are installing USB for mobiles/tablets... We will return in Capetown.

Great location: Was affordable and property kept to its standard. Was in close proximity to a variety of places such as restaurants the beach front was super close (100m away) and the mojo market. Staff where professional and welcoming.

The location is spot on - minutes from the Waterfront, a hop from the sea and easy access en route to Cape Point. Great value for money too. But it’s the people, the service, the ‘can-do’ attitude that makes this place really stand-out ! Mr Jeoffrey on front desk alongside ‘Khulwe’ (??) couldn’t have been more accommodating, more welcoming, more engaging, more fun ! And Jean-? ( ex Congo ) willingly grabbed my bags right from the ‘off’. And the young waitress in the restaurant made every effort to make sure that what I wanted to eat was what I got ! Well done everyone.

My stay was 5 stars because of Jeofrey and the amazing customer service!! My cheeks almost still hurt from smiling back at the staff and they constantly checked in on our wellbeing. Our room was very comfortable and I enjoyed the warm bath especially!! Also the view and closeness to the beach was perfect!!
