Outstanding 5 star hotel with the most amazing security staff, concierge, reception staff and a wide variety of meals to eat outside on the beautiful deck by the pool or inside in the piano bar restaurant, buffet morning restaurant or the ground floor cafe. Room service is slow but the food is warm and fresh when it arrives. The building manager is, um, "doing his best" I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ A few issues there!!

A really good hotel with modern decor. Really nicely presented in a good location. Breakfast was good and the food and from the pool bar was great. Only downside is not knowing how many towels you'll get in the room when you come back after a long day. Sometimes you'd get one and sometimes none! Even though a quick call to reception resolved the situation, it was still disappointing. Overall, I would definitely return. The staff are fantastic too!

Poor service! there was a false alarm the went around 11:30pm. That in itself is not a problem, but..1. On arriving at reception, the staff didn’t receive us or say anything, I had to shout to get attention and an understanding of what is happening. At that point, we couldn’t know if the alarm was a real emergency or not. 2. It took an hour and a half to resolve (switch off the alarm so we could go sleep. 3. No apology or attempt to reassure guests. 4. At some point we’re told we can use the stairs to go back to our room, went up 9 floors only to find the stair doors couldn’t be opened, rediculous. Two days later, no housekeeping, why? For vibes, when I ask, pushed from one department to another

The staff on the hotel is fine, the staff at the restaurant is not attentive, especially if you look young. The other one literally followed me to ask if I really paid for breakfast. I think i was asked 5 times. Maybe i don’t look like a person who would eat breakfast here. They made me feel like i don’t belong. The only person who treated me like a human being is the chef.

I'm going to begin this review by focusing on the most important aspect of any trip...the food. Whilst the Chef, Damien, was absolutely incredible and sweet and very creative, the overall cuisine was slightly underwhelming. The breakfast buffet prices changed daily which was confusing, the spreads were always the same (which isn't a problem) except when it appeared to be leftovers from the day before...which could of course be incorrect and it might have just looked that way. Certain dishses always ran out and were not topped up which gave one a feeling of eat or be eaten! As a vegetarian, the options for a hot breakfast were rather sad. Baked beans, mushrooms and if you got there first, hash browns (I never made it on time). It's also unfortunately the type of breakfast that sees another woman's omelet being taken by someone else...and I just don't know why the cook would let that happen!! I'm clear very upset by it! ******* The rooms at a glance were perfectly fine, except when things were shuffled around or examined a little closer. The floors were dusty and a tad dirty, the bathrooms were not in good shape, I was convinced my sink was dirty when it was actually scuff marks. The toiletries were not replaced without making a request, which meant that if one were to have a pooping situation (I'm not saying that I did...) you might get caught without any toilet paper if you weren't vigilant beforehand. ******* The service was great and that was purely due to the friendly people who worked there. They were down to earth, "real" and made me feel like they were extended family members that I was vacationing at. They were quite prompt and attentive and made us feel important and at home. Overall it was not a bad experience, it just lacked some finesse. In terms of value for money, it cuts really close because of negligence on some very basic things, like the lifts not working efficiently and the other things mentioned. The hotel is situated in a prime location with ease of access to most amenities, making it convenient and trendy depending on what you're looking for.

Loved everything about this hotel. The breakfast was good, the rooms a clean and have mini bar fridge, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, there is even toiletries (Colgate, toothbrush, shoe shine, nail care etc). TV has all channels and wifi is very strong. The location is close to everything one needs and want to visit. There is also parking. I will call again.

I booked a table then called 8 times to make special arrangements for my wedding anniversary with no answer. We sat down and werent offered anything to drink. We then had to flag down service for a drink. The same later for food. No one came to check if we needed anything until I asked for the bill then suddenly the credit card appeared with no time to even calculate a tip.

Nice and clean hotel centrally located. Good sized and well equipped gym on the top floor. Small pool and deck outside. Quite noisy there. Breakfast is ok. Occasional smell of sewer from shower in the hotel room. No trash can in bathroom.

Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. I think the restaurants managers name was Soni but everyone was great. Well done for hosting such a good brunch during busy holiday time.

Got to hotel at 12 noon and only got check-in at 18h15. The excuse was linen arrived late. Called to get a pair of scissors to get the cable tie cut off my bag and waited for almost 45 minutes before someone came through. Aircon did not work too well. Could not adjust to warmer or cooler. Food was good and service in restaurant was good.

Room was nice, but service was not good. Towels, shower gel and shampoo were not replenished, nor were tea and coffee. One wooden stirrer which was not replaced for day 2. When we asked for replenishment, we were mostly ignored.

We went to the restaurant for mother's day. Staff friendly but the service not up to standard as they fell over their feet. It seems that the planning with all respect was done the day before. Would have like real cooked meal and not finger bitesize dry pastries. Thankful for our gift though.

Wow, I had the BEST experience during my stay here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast in the morning is very well prepared, our room was spacious, clean and beautiful. Our view was not the best as it faced a building construction & a bit of the mountain view but overall experience was worth every cent

Great hotel and great service, food is good I however didn't appreciate the fact that I had to hunt for parking. Just about the worst parking set up I've ever encountered. There was no prior communication of this when bookings were made. They signage is not positioned in a way that allows you to figure this out with ease. I was incredibly disappointed by that.

My friends and i visited the Piano Bar yesterday, we really had a great day. The food was so delicious, what a great service from Lindela (waiter) he was very friendly, he even explained everything that was on the menu. We definitely coming back next month, and we would love Lindela to be our waiter again

This is the most racist hotel in Cape Town. Definitely NOT safe for Black guests. I went into the restaurant expecting to grab a coffee while getting some work done. The restaurant host pulled out a takeaway cup (no lid) and told me to "get my coffee and go". I ignored him and walked into the restaurant and found a table. No one served me. I sat there for 45 minutes while working and no one came to my table. They were happily serving other tables though. As I was getting ready to leave, a lady approached my table and I thought she was coming to take my order. She had spray disinfectant in her hand and without any acknowledgement of me or my existence, she proceeded to clean the half of the table I wasn't utilising.

Bad experience. The entire hotel smells like weed (including the lifts). Staff not friendly. Only ONE LIFT working for the entire hotel (stayed on 20th floor) - which often meant we had to cater in 20min each time we wanted to go somewhere just for the lift. One evening I phoned for help from the maintenance team and no one ever came. Very disappointed in our stay there despite the big bill.

5 stars for a 5 Star hotel. Service and staff are great. The restaurant, pool deck and breakfast buffet is awesome. Very impressed. Love the building and location.

The hotel only had one lift operating for the duration of my stay. The parking situation is not great and the outside is not too safe. It is affordable though.

I felt cheated! We had broken down our bookings with Radisson into 2 parts. 2 nights, away for 3 nights and back for 4 nights. We were considering between this Hyatt and Taj. We decided to give this a try for the first part of our stay and based on our experience, decide about 4 nights later. Our initial stay experience was near perfect. The 2 bedroom residence we had selected was spacious with washing machine and dryer. 3 bathrooms with showers, an additional small room etc. so we decided to go with them for the latter part of our 4 night stay too. However before confirming that booking we called the hotel to confirm if we can get the same or exactly same kind of residence. We were assured that we will get exactly same type. We reached late night for check in, tired after long day drive. We were allotted our residence and as soon as we stepped in our problems started. Firstly it wasn’t at all the same type as promised- there wasn’t that extra small room (which can be let go), rooms much smaller that won’t fit 2 people walking around the bed at the same time, no space for keeping our suitcase which had to be opened up in the tiny hall cum dining area, washing machine without dryer (no provision to hang dry clothes, might as well not provide a washing machine), one side of the lights in hall and main bedroom not working making that side of room dull and dark, hall AC would not change to heater nor will it reduce the temperature (non- functioning thermostat), and the worst of all problems - out of the 2 bathrooms provided, only one had facility to shower!! The other bathroom only had a bath tub WITHOUT A HAND OR OVERHEAD SHOWER, and the staff argued with us that that’s how one must take bath!! They expected us to fill the bath tub each time we want to take a bath!!! No apology from the staff that the person who promised us exact same type room over the phone made a mistake. The staff were almost non- cooperative leaving us feeling unwelcomed and under- served. Finally since we carried our persistence till next day morning, they agreed to give us an extra hotel room. Our family had to separate into 2 rooms on totally different floors (where the same lift will not even take you) just for the sake of having another bathroom with a shower to be able to get ready without waiting in the line for that one shower! My trust from Radisson is vanished. Till now, in any city we would go, we would blindly go with Radisson which stood for good location and great rooms. NOT ANY MORE! Btw, One of the days was my birthday and as a good gesture they sent some cake and sparkling wine to our room which was great. We left the wine in the fridge and decided to have it one of the other nights. We open the fridge and the wine’s gone! 😳 Thanks for the nice gesture Radisson!

Three night stay. Free Shuttle departing to V&A at very regular intervals.Staff are friendly and rooms are clean. Breakfast selection is ok, food at the piano bar takes a while but is good. Did not order room service so cannot comment on that. Airport shuttle tried to drop me off at the Radisson Blu at the Waterfront, so make sure you specify the right location (Riebeeck str). Hotel within walking distance of several restaurants , but a bit noisy at night sometimes due to its CBD location

Large room, a little mold in bathroom tile grout, fantastic breakfast, nice staff, far from water front, half the elevators were out of service.

Our 2 week stay was very comfortable. We’ve had a spacious room with gorgeous view of table mountain, lions head and signal hill. The room service and cleaning was very good. The breakfast was mediocre, as in most hotels also if you’re sensitive about the noise on weekends you can hear the nearby bar and in the morning construction. Staff was very helpful and location in the city is perfect, close to good restaurants on Bree St & Long St. it was definitely safe.

The room was extremely clean and everything in the room was in excellent working condition. Staff was very helpful and efficient. Excellent shuttle service to and from waterfront. The shuttle drivers are the most sweetest people you would meet, very friendly and their courtesy is second to none-Avril is like a long lost relative you have been longing to meet.🥰

We only spent two nights here before moving into an apartment for a month so I don’t think long enough to give a fair review. However the property is a mix of hotel rooms and apartments with a variety of different agents working there. Our check in was with TotalStay Luxury Suites and very smooth and quick. We had a one bedroom apartment which was comfortable enough but I would’ve felt we’d be on top of each other should we have spent more than a few days here. There is a nice pool area and the hotel gym was better than average but still not great. (I always find hotel gyms are very hot and miss). The service was great though, central city location and there is no reason why we wouldn’t stay there again - the price point was excellent - however there are lots of options in Cape Town.

Prior arrangements with management made our stay and meeting here an absolute breeze. All were aware of the requirements on our arrival and special requests were understood and executed with precision. A special call out to Dean, restaurant / catering manager for his assistance too. We met and ate in the Piano Bar and service, drinks and food were all perfect. Thank you to all for a memorable stay and event.

Nice hotel and 80% of the employees are nice. Confortable bed and good buffet breakfast, but we complained twice because our AC was not going down so we couldn’t sleep good because it was so hot inside the room. Additionally we called the reception many times and nobody never answer so we were told that to call the reception was not the Recwption button in the phone we should press number 9. Other problem was the light from the AC controller that was light up all night like a lamp, so annoying

Nice personell and great breakfast (!). I would have like the room to be a bit fresher and more at point with cleanliness. Also, we had to call for a hairdryer (and call to ask for it again). Plus with the parking!

We had a pleasent stay, we had a room on floor 11 with a view on the table mountain and the lions head. The location of the hotel is central, but not that close to the usual tourist activities. The long street is closed by and the hotel offers a hourly free shuttle to the waterfront and back, which is great. You can also park free of cost in the garage. We had no breakfast included, but we took once the opportunity and the breakfast buffet offered all you need and was very good. The price is a bit overrated compared to what you can get in cafes or restaurant around. Also it was not a problem to check out a bit later. The staff was very friendly. Overall we can very recommend the hotel for your stay in Cape Town.

Security is great. Location could not be better. The rooms are situated far enough from each other as to not be disturbed. Management is attentive. The bell hops insist on taking your bags. Views of Table Mountain... magnificent.

Good location, city center and close to many places in the city. The food was just okay. The rooms are amazing with great city views. There is a free shuttle services that moves between the hotel and the Waterfront Mall. The shuttle driver was racist in a subtle way.

Had a great stay at this hotel a few weeks ago! What made it especially great was the awesome service from employees. Sia (I hope I’m spelling that correctly) was especially great. He checked us in and was friendly, helpful, and in good spirits during our entire stay! Made us feel at home, thank you Sia! The food at the restaurants could use some improvement, but other than that our stay was amazing!

This hotel advertised a room that doesn’t exist in Booking.com. I had to change room 4 times abd carry my luggage up and down to get to something close to what I had booked, which is a room with an ugly bathroom made for people with disabilities. See photos. The manager Teboho is unprepared to deal with clients dissatisfaction and instead of giving me a better room or upgrading me, he said I should complain with Booking.com or leave the hotel. He took no responsibility for the mistake and expected the client to both live with and fix the problem. I tried to leave but they would not refund me. Complete nightmare this hotel. I came for a business trip and they put me seven nights in a room without a work desk as advertised in the photos. That’s not what I paid for. Never staying in this hotel again!
