Value for money and very convenient close to the airport. If you have a early flight consider staying there. It really safes you a lot of time in the traffic. Menu could be more vegetarian friendly but I could eat something....

Don't waste your money. Paid for airport transfers as well as two days stay well in advance as I was not allowed to book for one day even though I only needed the room for 6 hours until our next flight. Got here in the middle of the day and no rooms were ready. There is no lifts and and it was a struggle to get up the stairs with luggage and a pram. No porters. The security guard assisted. The rooms are tiny and smelly. Airconditioning not working. Bedding thin and poor quality. Overall just shocking considering the price. The worst was probably me and baby not being able to sleep (what room was intended for) as the cleaning ladies are talking/shouting non-stop in the isles. We probably would have been better off waiting in the airport for the next flight. And would have saved ALOT of money.

Food was good,quite expensive.Rooms were quite small but efficient. Attitude of staff brings down the rating a lot.The food staff and ground/garden staff were friendy and great,however the people at the counter often looked grumpy or gave off the weird vibe they weren't really trying to help. Value was quite good room wise but with the added prices of supper and breakfast it does ruin the value quite a bit. One last thing is that the drain stinked and made brushing teeth horrible. Overall good,Nice Place.Great to have a cold water available for when needed in the restaurant area.

Perfect for an overnight stay between flights. Rooms are smaller than they seem in the website photos but are well maintained and clean. Don't bother with the breakfast, save your money and eat on the airport if you have the time. Staff are great and the shuttle service is friendly and efficient - make sure to book it in advance. I'll stay here again.

What a pleasant experience. For those looking for a great place to be for just a short while, the prices are great and the rooms cover all the essentials. Friendly staff and very clean. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone that needs to be close to the airport. Transfers to the terminal are cheap and if you enjoy using your feet, it's an easy 15min flat walk.

Perfect place to stay between stop overs esp. when arriving late at night.Everything was easy and staff really helpful and professional. I’m from overseas so needed help with transport, which they assisted with. Used City Hopper which Road lodge arranged, and greeted at airport. Only negative was, as many light sleepers have mentioned- the walls are thin and noise from other guests walking talking or flushing quite noticeable. Prior to trip I had many questions ( booked via Expedia, got a great price)- Duty Manager/staff were very professional and answered questions within a very short time. Much appreciated!

Close to the airport, shuttle service available at R80. Supper very limited menu but ok if you are hungry. Reception very friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable. Family arrived at 2am with kids that were screaming and running up and down outside our room, banging doors for at least 5 mins. We were all wide awake!!

Outstanding location for the airport. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic, but kept very clean. Parking is secure if you are driving. Only complaint was noisy room A/C which also would stop from time to time and need reset. Overall perfect place to stay near airport though at a reasonable price.

Really not value for money. Food choices are not healthy at all. The phone in room does not work. Ordering in of any meal takes hours. So much more could be done. Very noisy.

A wonderful experience. I needed to book a hotel to stay a night till an additional flight. My flight into Cape Town was delayed by 4 hours and they accommodated for me checking in at 12:30am. Very responsive to email communication! The room was nice and secure, and breakfast was great! All the staff were very helpful and nice! Pretty good impression for first night in this country.

This hotel is perfect if you need to overnight close to the airport, it's on the doorstep. Rooms are very basic but clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. They serve breakfast and simple meals can be ordered throughout the day. Parking is safe and free.

Ideal location from the airport. Very neat and mostly clean. Was disappointed though that the toilet was not washed. Unfortunately we had checked in late at night and there were no other rooms available. Also the porter guy was hopeless. Had to be retold by receptionist to assist with bags. Bear in mind that there is no lift in the building so you’d most likely have to lug your own suitcases up the stairs

The hotel can do with minimal renovation to update the interior. Our room was great. Clean and neat. Service is AMAZING. We tried the pepperdew and chicken pizza, which was great! Short distance from the airport but not walking distance.

Very impressed: comfortable place to stay walking distance from Cape Town International Airport; rooms small but very comfortable; food and service very good. (Small suggestion: highlight to guests when the main kitchen closes - I just missed it, and was a bit disappointed that I only had the option of pizza for dinner instead of the chicken salad I'd been looking forward to... although I did enjoy the pizza). Sitting in the garden made for a welcome rest before embarking on long flights. Thank you to the staff for making my stay a pleasant one :)

I love that the location is very near to Cape Town Airport. The only negative, is that there was quite a bit noise from other guests. Apart from that my stay at the Lodge was really enjoyable.

Stayed in room 003. Very clean. Pleasant front desk staff. Breakfast was fresh and fulfilling. Nothing fancy but outstanding price for a safe, clean stay. Only town side walls are thin, but I turned on the fan for background noise and problem solved. I would definitely return..

Location good if you have to overnight for flights. Carpets dirty, DSTV rubbish. Breakfast was a nightmare, all buffet food had been consumed delay on replenishing. Limited evening menu, food takes forever. Best get a takeaway at the airport

Rooms are super small and very basic. No bar fridge, TV has about 10 channels, no microwave. If you need just a bed and internet, then you'll be ok. Waited for our food for more than 90 minutes, including a glass of water we asked for. It's closer to the airport, which could a huge plus for some. Staff was friendly.

Excellent service and location. Safe and clean. The menu needs to be improved though. It is limited and some variety would do. For instance, it was advertised that there is a shisanyama braai option in the Ala Carte yet only burger and chips was available.

Great location for early flight. I made a mistake and book the wrong Road Lodge. The service manager changed my booking with a smile when I arrived at the wrong adress. The room was comfortable and clean and quiet.

I book by phone a room for disabled peoples (i m in wheelchair).they said ok. When i arrived the room was note avaible, they give us a small room on parking. We refused and leave with my lugage on my knees. Thr manager doedsn t care, he was not helpfull.

Convenient if you want to be close to airport for very early or late flights. Breakfast and dinner choice very very limited. Very Old air-conditioning that is Very Noisy.

We overnight stay, was perfect. Staff were professional and friendly. Breakfast was scrumptious. Our ensuite room, was clean and spacious. The location is very convenient. We walked to the airport, the next morning, to catch our next flight out.

Wonderful service received from check in until our check out in the early hours of the morning. Rooms were tidy and clean, but ours was on the wrong side of the hallway door. This meant that people speaking in tge reception area could be heard, but it wasn't noisy at unreasonable hours. Very close to the airport with dining options.

Asked for a quiet room away from exterior and interior noise and they placed me right beside the lobby that was noisy all night. Hardly slept at all. Very frustrating!!

Order and Pay for a pizza at reception.. After a hour I go to find out where my food is and it has been delivered to the wrong room.. Completely unexceptable.. Unprofessional staff and very unorganized. Worst Road lodge I've ever been to.. Would not recommend a stay here at all... Update.... Apperantly they brought me the same pizza they gave the other guest.. Just heated it up as he didn't know what was going on and didn't eat it.. what is this place?? I can't believe I paid for that...

My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights in August/September. Rooms nice and clean. Friendly staff. Our only complaint is the Breakfast is extremely boring the only thing that changed every morning was different fruit juices.

Excellent service from Siya at reception. The rooms are clean and tidy, and you are able to order food on site to consume in the café area or in your room. The room was sufficient for our one-night stay, including coffee and tea. Unfortunately, it is quite loud next to the lobby, which isn't great if you're a light sleeper. Overall good value for money and very close to the airport.

Very Basic hotel, more of a one night sleep over place whilst in transit. Walking distance from the hotel, great wifi, very good but basic breakfast, rooms are small but will do for a night or so, they are also clean...overall good place

It was clean, and safe. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and actually were the best part about my stay there. Im a light sleeper, so it was hard to fall asleep because you can hear the other people in the rooms next door or in the corridor.
