Perfect customer care service Situated on a private quay between Cape Town’s bustling V&A Waterfront and the tranquil yacht marina, there is no better position from where to soak in the natural beauty of our Mother City and the very essence of Cape Town living at its best. Our elegant and warm atmosphere, evident in every fine detail, begins at the welcoming reception lounge and extends to our spacious harbour and mountain-facing rooms. Stories of the Cape’s colourful past present themselves in our exquisite furniture, rare fabrics, intriguing artefacts and original antiques. Local paintings and sculptures lend a contemporary flair to our décor and feel, while fresh displays of Proteas that hint at the wonder of our natural botanical kingdom enrich each room. We invite you to share in tailor-made experiences that include our sumptuous tasting menus, rare whisky pairings, luxurious spa treatments, and indulgent Afternoon Teas – all thoughtfully created to enhance your journey in the Cape

BREAKFAST at the glorious CAPE GRACE HOTEL is the definition of FOOD GALORE. It is a "must do" in Cape Town. If you have never tried it, you have not really experienced the true meaning of a Full English Breakfast. The view of the yacht marina while enjoying the food makes the whole experience unique and unforgettable. 5 star hotel without question! The staffs are so welcoming, they deliver a world class service. I will definitely make it a regular breakfast escape. Special mention to Mr. Kevin who made our experience fantastic.

Wow, what a property, what history, what style and the #1 takeaway - what personalization! No wonder guests come back over and over and over. Absolutely gorgeous decor and detail throughout the entire property, rooms, common area and the outside areas on the water, including the very well appointed pool area. Loved it!

Service delivery is 7 star. The hotel is located in the perfect spot. Based around the V&A Waterfront, it’s a stone throw away from restaurants. Great views of Table Mountain. The staff are exceptionally accommodating in every avenue. The Cape Grace is elegant and offers a clean and warm charm.

Discriminatory pricing; £260 for SADC/locals, £460 for anyone else, in South Africa of all places. Could you imagine the uproar if this was reversed, for example if hotels in London charged South Africans more. Incomprehensible and shameful.

The Cape Grace hotel in Cape Town was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with top-notch hospitality and attention to detail. The hotel room was spacious, elegant and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was an absolute delight with plenty of options to cater to all dietary needs regardless how demanding you are :) The location was convenient, with easy access to popular attractions and restaurants in the area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting Cape Town. The quality of service, attention to detail, and overall experience are truly remarkable. Looking forward to the day I will return! #luxuryhotel #capetown #hospitality #capegrace #oceanview #vacationmode

I had a lovely stay at Cape Grace. They were easy to book with via email, and were accommodating for our late arrival. The rooms are gorgeous, large, clean and have French windows that overlook the harbor. The location is great since it's quiet but close to the main V&A Waterfront shopping and dining area. The staff were also the nicest I've experienced in a long time! Asanda at the Signal restaurant remembered who I was, who my travel companions were and where we sat for breakfast every day. She also helped me package a boxed breakfast to go when I wasn't feeling well. Highly recommend staying here!

We live at the Marina we used the Cape Grace since they opened their doors. I use to call the Cape Grace my home that the way we were treated we HOME. During the darkest time of my life THE CAPE GRACE was my safe haven and i will always be greatful to the staff for being part of my healing process. Now you are no longer allowed to have meals there sometimes they say they fully booked and the restaurant is empty, we cant use Library whilest its empty if that walls could talk of the library of the business deals to took place there memories. Its very sad tjat you dont cater for the locals. We were told that there wont be any changes from the new owner but clearly the legacy of a well run establishment isnt a 5 star hotel anymore rather than a 5 star private club. Very Sad

My wife and I had an Afternoon Tea. Absolutely magic: Service, from the entrance, the waiters, the Tea was of high calibre, more than we could possibly imagine. Beautiful views

I stayed there for 21 days and enjoyed every single day - everything from breakfasts to service was superb. One thing bothered me, though: there was no power to charge phone during the outages (which happen at least twice a day)

Ashlen, Bar tender at Bascule is the quintessential cocktail magician. He can create new notes of liquor as Mozart gifted humanity with music. Ashlen is the best cocktail mixologist in South Africa.

We live at the Marina and used to eat at the Grace previously. Now you are no longer allowed to enter for a meal despite the Library being dead quiet. Clearly not interested in business. Prior to Covid we attended regularly. The “guard dogs” at the entrance turn business away all the time. Sad to see how people can ruin a perfectly good model.

What a wonderfull experience! We had a wonderful Sunday breakfast as a special moment. Friendly staff and the decor made me feel like I stepped into the Victorian times. Not cheap, but a great place to take that someone special if you want to feel like royalty!

This is a very elegant and graceful, old world hotel. Decor is outstanding and tastefully done. The employees are extremely service oriented and go out of their way to make sure you are pampered and enjoy your stay. Good food, great whiskey bar and regular bar. Room service twice daily so always clean towels and the coffee station replenished. They have a driver avaliable who will take you to establishments nearby and bring you back to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
