Hotel Verde is one of the nicest places I've been. My two weeks stay was really worth it. Eco friendly, saves energy and the environment. They reward with tokens for saving energy-efficiency. The service from all the staff is lovely. They cater for everyone including vegans meal. They have a moving shuttle after every 30min which makes movement more easier for one to explore Cape Town. Thank you Team Verde for such a wonderful service. ❤️

Hotel is nice. Eco friendly and good service. Take a walk outside around the small nature loop. The pool is kind of cool, like swimming with plants in a pond, but clean. If you earn Vendimos, make sure you ask for them when housekeeping is around. We were unable to use them twice because we checked out early.

The service was by far the best thing about my recent stay. It makes business travel so much more enjoyable when you are greeted by super helpful reception staff willing to go the extra mile. Thanks to Luvuyo for being great at his job. I was also impressed with all the staff we encountered in the restaurant and bar. Friendly banter, prompt service, and happy faces.

Very poor service. U request for anything like water, laundry pick up. That request will never be met. If u go and inquire from the reception, they have the audacity to say pick the water yourself from the bar. Bring down the laundry. Is this poor customer service or rudeness. Open shower cubicle is again not very comfortable. Definitely not worth the price.

Everything about this place is convenient and easy! I love the green element, too. They take the environment seriously. So grateful for this hotel after our long flight from the US because it's such a short drive from the airport. The rooms are clean and really nice! The food we had for dinner was ok, not great! But convenient! The breakfast is awesome and the desserts were DELICIOUS. The staff was amazing and so friendly. We stayed here three separate times during our three weeks in South Africa. Love this hotel!

I was so impressed with this hotel! After a weary day of travel, my partner and I needed a place to sleep and any airport hotel that was nearest would do. We were lucky to stumble upon Hotel Verde! There is gated parking with a parking guard, the staff was super welcoming and friendly upon entrance and the room was lovely! Very clean and comfortable! There was even a welcome message addressed to us on the TV. The next morning we had the buffet breakfast which was super fresh and delicious! Not like any hotel breakfast I’ve had before. The selection of nuts and dried fruit, fresh eggs, fruit, meats, breads, coffees and even rose quartz water were SO refreshing!! We noticed outside the dining hall there was a beautiful garden with a large pond, beautiful flora and chirping birds. As we explored the garden we discovered the hotels kitchen garden where they source they’re greens - wow! We also found an outdoor workout area and a mama cat and her sweet little kittens running around! I’m shocked by the high standards of this hotel airport, it really started our vacation in Cape Town wonderfully. I highly recommend Hotel Verde to any traveler. Next time I’m in Cape Town, I will book here again.

Eco-friendly hotel close to the Cape Town International Airport. Clean, modern rooms. Cool little walking path through manicured gardens along with a unique, verdant swimming pool. Top notch restaurant on site. The sirloin steak was tender, but the standout was the milk and sago dessert! We also were treated to fantastic service by Yonela. He gave us his personal recommendations as to his favourite foods on the menu while engaging us in friendly conversation.

The place to stay near the airport. Wonderful staff who help the best they can. Be aware airlines use this hotel and at times front desk is overwhelmed with air crews, just be patient. The restaurant is surprisingly excellent. Food is really good and portions run from generous to sharing is necessary. Breakfast service begins at 4am! All the hotel amenities (pool, gym, biz center, lobby) are functioning, clean and in good shape. I definitely recommend and would return without hesitation.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, I especially loved the huge variety of nuts and seeds! Very helpful and kind staff. Super cute little garden and good gym too. Rooms and gym could be a bit cleaner though.All in all good value for the money especially taking into account how close to the airport it is (inclduing a complimentary shuttle!)

My stay at Hotel Verde was very pleasant. The rooms are clean and they have good facilities. The staff are friendly as well and it's located right outside the airport. It's not the best location especially if you are on holiday, but for business it's great. The best thing about this Hotel is that it is very eco friendly. They considered the environment and try to conserve energy and water, and it does not compromise your stay in any way which is really great.

What a great experience! The staff are super friendly and helpful and really go the extra mile. The restaurant was great and my lasagne was delicious. I was amazed at the versatility of the staff. They are at reception, then help you with your luggage, and then also drive the shuttle! Its proximity to the airport takes away the stress of having to worry about getting there on time. I highly recommend Hotel Verde.

We had a lovely time! Everyone was friendly and helpful, there are a lot of activities you can do outside of the hotel, and the breakfast was delicious. We also really respect how driven they are to get guests involved with their sustainability goals (check out their Verdino points).

The hotel is close to the airport & they have a handy shuttle service. Our room was nice & clean, comfy bed. The food in the restaurant was excellent! They also have a flexi rate, we paid to stay in our room for another 6 hours which was great!

Nice airport hotel with some unique eco touches like a little wetland park attached to the back. Our room was slightly noisy and the double glazed windows had a small gap in the top right corner. Airport shuttles are very 30 minutes and leave on the 10 minutes from the airport.

Big thank you to the Hotel Verde staff. After having the property for my previous booking cancel within 2,5 hrs, of check-in the staff at Hotel Verde made a plan originally for just one night of the 3 nights I needed accommodation. Went to check out the next morning to find out that my booking was extend for the full duration requirement I needed. Thank you once again and well done to the staff.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel has perfect location for catching flights from Cape Town airport with convenient free shuttle. Included breakfast was amazing and price is extremely reasonable. Entire hotel was clean and modern. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend

Rooms are beautiful. Views are fantastic (depending on your room?. The staff is actually quite wonderful. But because it's next to the airport; it's far from the basic amenities and far from any beaches.

Had a great stay here. Perfect for a short stop over. Lovely small hotel with friendly staff and a reliable shuttle too. Only concern is that the rooms could do with a better clean as I found pretzel crumbs and a tic tac in various places.

This is just a stone's throw from the Airport. Free shuttle service. Excellent all round. Meaningful art on display with back stories. Excellent food. Yeah, loved everything about it. Will use again.

This is one of the best places I’ve been ever to!! From the first moment we entered till the last few hours of our stay .. We had enjoyed every moment.. and definitely we are coming back soon!

This is really conveniently located right by the airport and with a great shuttle service. The staff were friendly and the place looks amazing. Our room unfortunately had a door to the next room and we could hear our neighbors watching TV and showering 🤣. Other than that it really was enjoyable staying here before our flight.

Perfect location for late landing. Very beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good WiFi. The room was perfectly clean but just a bit noisy during the night (air system). But nothing who are not manageable. A good address to go.

From the building, I didn’t have high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and size of the rooms and food. The breakfast was great and I love the vegan menu! What I really loved is the eco- friendliness (the hotel is a role model) and amazing facilities in the building. The grounds are beautiful. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Especially great if you get in late your first night or want somewhere easy to freshen up and meet your travel companions if you are coming in at different times. Loved the eco intentionality, outdoor garden/walking path/gym. For those backpacking/with a longer stay, 1 minute walk from self service coin laundry -- Joe's is very clean and easy to use.

Nicely done up room. Lots of attention to detail. Environmentally friendly gizmos. Best of all is location especially if you have early morning flight out or you don't have any business in the City Bowl

Very nice hotel, spacious modern rooms. Sadly nothing to watch on tv, no movies and TV casting system hasn’t worked since I checked in 3 days ago. Menu is fairly pricey at R255 for 3 lamb chops :( Nice selection of wines to drink, friendly helpful staff. Complimentary under ground parking for guests. Not the cheapest hotel in the area but worth the extra cost. Would I stay here again ? Yes, but please fix the room TV’s.

To the wonderful cast and crew of Verde Capetown. (Dumisani pay attention) You service, quality and hospitality was absolutely wonderful. The gentleman I named in this review, looks after the bar. He like all of the staff, are just fantastic. I look forward to seeing you all again. Rooms, food, service, and location. You can't go wrong.

What a beautiful hotel from the rooms to the staff and food everything was perfect for our 1 night stay. The free shuttle service is great every half hour which picked us up and dropped us off when we flew out the next day. The rooms are beautifully designed, The only issue we had was the water gets too much on the tiles as u step into the shower and they should have a second outlet. The food is very nice and they have a wood fire oven for the 🍕 Alicia was very friendly and made our dinner perfect. They are very big on eco and helping the environment and have a nice small but lovery walk though there gardens at the back. I will certainly be back when stopping at Cape town airport.

Great stay, very close to the airport. Staff was absolutely amazing and attentive. Dinner at the restaurant was nothing short of a 5 star experience. Highly recommend staying here if you're in Cape Town and need a hotel close to the airport.

The most Eco friendly hotel I have ever seen. I liked this a lot. Their buffets are amazing. Only thing is, the hotel's location is really in a secluded area. The hotel has a tour guide which you can take and go nice places but that's it. Nothing around the hotel.

Very nice and friendly staff, decent breakfast buffet, clean rooms, unfortunately there is absolutely nothing near by if you need to stay few days there. Next to the airport make it a very convenient place to stay for connecting flights.

Nice hotel. Location is perfect. Shuttles to the airport are also a huge benefit. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Restaurant is also good, food was nice and no long waiting times.

I met friends to say farewell to a dear friend travelling back to Wales. The best decision ever to find such ab eco friendly haven in the middle of an Industrial area. I even had the privilege to spent time with the resident Beekeeper. All in all the staff and surroundings are absolutely top class. Worth a visit even if you are not staying overnight.

This hotel is closely positioned to the airport and the main arterial routes. The rooms and accommodation offer are also of a decent standard. If you intend eating here, however, I would suggest ordering the meal several hours before. We stayed here in December 2021 and experienced slow service, with specific requests completely ignored (we asked for chips with the lamb chops, they arrived some time after the lamb). We put this down to recovering and retraining after the pandemic. Well we returned in March 2022 and the service was even slower, something we didn't think was possible. We ordered lasagne, a chicken burger and two toasted sandwiches with salad, not chips. Over an hour later, the sandwiches arrived with chips (the chips were returned but salad never appeared). Then a full 30 minutes later, the chicken burger and lasagne arrived. They were not busy, and there was no logical explanation for these delays. When asked about the delay between sandwiches and the rest, we were simply informed that it was on the way. These meals are not cheap and did taste OK, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. We also had to frequently call someone to get another drink

Popped in to Hotel Verde for a coffee whilst waiting for a client to arrive at the airport. Whilst ordering I spotted their lush, sustainable garden and decided to take a walk around it - a peaceful and tranquil oasis in the airport precinct! Staff were friendly and competent, coffee was good and their lounge area warm and sunny. I look forward to my next visit.
