When
we
first
arrived,
after
selecting
the
early
check-in
option,
we
found
out
that
despite
paying
in
full,
they
had
no
record
of
our
booking.
After
a
good
35
minutes
this
was
resolved,
and
our
rooms
were
allocated.
Despite
being
non
smokers,
they
placed
us
in
smoker
rooms,
which
smelt
like
15
year
old
uncleaned
ashtrays.
The
rooms
are
not
maintained
or
cleaned
correctly.
My
particular
room
had
no
electricity
for
half
the
day,
the
overwhelmed
maintenance
man
tried
his
best,
got
the
lights
and
plugs
to
work
but
not
the
Aircon.
There's
mold
growing
in
the
bathroom
and
10
years
worth
of
dust
on
the
Airton
vents,
stains
on
the
carpets
and
curtains.
The
area
it's
in
swarms
with
beggars
and
druggies
at
night,
making
it
almost
impossible
to
walk
around
on
your
own.
The
staff
try
their
best,
but
holiday

clearly

this
hotel

away.
Give
this
one
a
wide
berth,
if
you're
looking
for
cheap
quick
cape
town
accommodation
for
a
couple
night
business
trip,
try

even
cheaper
