I
stayed
at
this
hostel
during
August
2023,
and
its
prime
location
emerged
as
the
standout
feature.
The
hostel
is
in
a
safe
neighborhood,
just
a
brief
15-minute
walk
from
the
renowned
Victoria
&
Alfred
Waterfront.
The
common
spaces
are
notably
spacious,
offering
a
comfortable
setting
with
a
well-equipped
kitchen,
an
in-house
restaurant,
a
lively
pub
and
a
swimming
pool.
The
hostel
takes
the
experience
a
step
further
by
organizing
a
variety
of
tours,
both
free
and
paid,
including
captivating
hikes
to
Lion's
Head
and
scenic
cycling
trips
to
the
Sea
Point
Promenade.
Keep
in
mind
that
during
load
shedding
hours,
the
rooms
experience
electricity
cuts;
however,
the
common
areas
remain
powered.
Additionally,
during
peak
seasons,
the
hostel
tends
to
get
quite
crowded
and
there
might
be
some
noise
from
the
traffic
since
it's
right
next
to
the
main
road.
Despite
these
minor
considerations,
Phil,
a
staff
member,
stood
out
for
his
exceptional
service.
Not
only
did
he
efficiently
organize
a
thrilling
skydiving
experience,
but
he
also
played
a
pivotal
role
in
helping
me
secure
a
rental
scooter.
Also,
the
cleaning
staffs
helped
find
my
ring
when
I
lost
it
and
gave
it
back
to
me
even
after
I
had
shifted
to
some
other
place.
