Wonderful location and the rooms aren't half bad, however the cleaning company could try to be a little more thorough when cleaning the rooms. The in-house restaurant could use more staff on hand during peak periods and the dinner menu could use a lot of improvement. Front desk staff try their best for people who are the point of call for unhappy guests who to them with problems they didn't necessarily cause. Their polite service is greatly appreciated.

When you call to tell that their staff are stealing items from visitors bags they promise to follow up and call I’ve been waiting for four day my perfume worth R1800 was stolen from my bag, only to find out that the ladies I was with are missing perfumes as well!!!!!are we now supposed to go to the beach with luggage bags???? I wouldn’t recommend anyone to book at this hotel, unless you plan on sitting the whole day and baby sit your luggage bags!

We were at the place on Thursday evening and most of their meals were not available, virgin cocktails were not available and we were served the most terrible and old desserts. Both their cheesecake and malva were old. Please train your staff professionalism they need to refrain from addressing customers as if they are chatting with their friends. Kudos to the chef the food was amazing even if it was not what we wanted, we settled for what was available!

On arrival at the hotel, the 2 ladies on reception were not very welcoming at all. (This was the second AHA hotel we stayed at on this trip and the other in Simon's Town couldn't have been more different, with charming friendly staff there on reception.) Here, they didn't look up to smile or even acknowledge us initially and eventually they just took our paperwork and stared at the screen frowning, we started to think there was an issue with our booking. Eventually they did communicate with us to say the room wasn't ready yet - we were 20 minutes early for a 2pm check in. At 2 the room was supposed to be ready but due to some minor work on the steps by our room, they expected us each time to go up an elevator, walk over a skybridge, call another elevator, and go down on that in order to get to the room! It was like this for the 3 days of our stay and drove us nuts waiting for different elevators all the time - a 3rd one was required to get to the car park! On getting into the room the cleaner was in fact still in there but she was done in a couple of minutes so no big deal. Walking in wwe noticed that the curtain was hanging down on one side and when I mentioned it, the reception lady who had taken us to the room, just laughed! The room was on the ground floor with no security measures to stop someone getting over the small railing. I asked if we could have a room on a higher floor and was simply told no, as they had no other rooms. I didn't really believe this at all. The room itself was a good size but quite dark during the day and not helped at night by the fact that one of the 4 bulbs wasn't working. The "balcony"/patio area was horrible, on some uneven stones and tiny. There is a small pool on the 4th floor but the water looked filthy so we didn't risk using it. We did use the loungers up there and although there was only 5, we were the only ones there so it was fine. Breakfast was okay but again staff were never helpful or smiled. One exception to the staff was a lovely gentleman that was on the front desk a couple of times during our stay. He couldn't be more friendly or helpful, offering suggestions and smiling! A refreshing change. He also checked us out and when we mentioned the curtain issue he immediately got on the phone to maintenance to deal with it. Whilst it is possible to walk to the V & A waterfront in 20/25 minutes, there is a gate en route which gets locked at 8pm so it is only possible during the day. It's a long way around by car or taxi. We did use it during the day and it was a pleasant walk. Overall we wouldn't stay here again or recommend.

Friendly staff. Lots of parking available. Lovely restaurant with great food and drinks and an excellent breakfast. Everything was clean and well-maintained. It was a great experience. However, on the second night, we didn't have towels. We had to run downstairs to reception to ask for towels. On the third night, we didn't have milk or sweetener for coffee. Housekeeping needs serious attention.

The Views are exquisite.... the location leaves a bit more to be desired, but is convenient enough to get to V&A Waterfront and the city centre (nightlife) with ease (Uber). One can have lunch outside, taking in the view, or one can paddle board along the canal for a light adventure. The rooms are large enough (I stayed in the B Block) and serviced well enough, the coffee machine as an annoyance for me (as I don't drink coffee and the light was quiet bright when I slept). But overall 4.8⭐

We loved our stay. Was quite a fast visit but check in was smooth, our room was great and extra beds for the kids were brought in. Room was clean, well stocked and spacious. Couldn't figure out how to get the TV to work but wasn't very fazed as we weren't in the room very long. Fantastic buffet breakfast.

A real hidden Gem, Myself and My Partner loved every bit of our stay. Enjoyed the location(which was peaceful and quiet) rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Will definitely be back.

Rooms are exceptional. Views in the front are good, whereas the back looks into the port terminal. Food is not worth the price you are paying. Burger tasted like it was a frozen patty and not freshly made. Sandwich was killed with acidic sundried tomatoes and more fat than actual pulled beef.

I was given a lovely suite. Breakfast was delicious, large variety and options. Restaurant serves until 9:30 pm Dinner on Day 1 was terrible. My colleagues and I ordered the Lamb shank special. The meat smelt like it was off. The management was gracious and apologetic. On Day 2, we were reimbursed the costs of Day 1 meal. The menu is very limited. Only one fish option.

Staff are not to be trusted at this establishment. A bottle of expensive face wash went missing from my room. Ten minutes after reporting it, a cleaning lady from housekeeping knocked on my door to ask if everything is ok and proceeded to ask me for transport money to go home. Breakfast items were not fresh and baked items stale. I booked this via the Discovery travel benefit and I am shocked they affiliated to this.

Great Hotel to stay, centrally located with a variety of transport mode to use to get to the V&A waterfront. loved the water taxi. Front office staff give you all the necessary information on check in. the only down side is the WIFI and telephones in the rooms that do not work. lets hope for our next visit in March this would have been resolved. thank you aha harbour bridge team

Lovely 3 night stay. Great location, walkable to V&A waterfront. Rooms quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed dinner at hotel restaurant too.

Noisy. Access to room from outside with no coverage against weather and not safe for children. Room smelly and not all electrical points working. Service requests took long to be done. Open access to property, so not very secure. Menu expensive. Not all ingredients as on menu. Buffet breakfast not topped up. Long wait for kitchen made breakfast buffet items. Sunday breakfast buffet changed to from breakfast menu without reason. Last billing incorrect. Dinner food quality good. Till this day of the re-review nobody came back to me personally after my many mails. There was no solution offered to me as mentioned by the owner. Look at my booking details and contact me, that surely isn't difficult!

We visited the place in winter. The property exceeded our expectations. Location is very near to water front, sea point and also to many other places. A boat ride to VA water front right in front of the hotel is awesome. 1. Rooms are also good and spacious. Only thing is very limited Kitchen utensils provided. 2. Wi-Fi is not there. 3. Room service is the best however, to us room service visiting the room at odd hours while we out doesn’t look good. It happened only 2 consecutive days during our 7 night stay. I had to call reception to confirm it was the staff not any intruder. For us it was a value for money. ********* RESTAURANT ************ The big downside of this hotel is restaurant. Limited food options. Same repeated break fast during our 8 day stay. No chicken options during break fast. Slow service. Lack of consistency. Food is very bad.

Received excellent service from Ncedisa at the Cafe. The whole restaurant team was excellent, my family felt at home.

Great hotel however pool was out of service. Breakfast was standard just over average. And there was no wifi in the rooms or around the hotel but strangely wifi was only picking up at the restaurant

The hotel needs more experienced persons. Whilst the managers tried to resolve issues, some issues shouldn't have been there had they had experienced persons. Not a layover for business persons. Not conducsive.

Super location as its just a simple walk away from the waterfront. Atmosphere is nice and the rooms are lovely. Loads of tv channels and rooms were clean. Only problem I had was the breakfast which was average at best. Waiter staff were also a bit lax but other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Stayed in room 218 and we had a lovely view of the city skyline and canal (paid extra for balcony room).

Rooms were average. There was no light in the shower area. Breakfast was okay but almost the same thing every nothing unless you asked the waitress to fix something specific that was not on the buffet table. There was no covid precautions with covering food, it was a normal buffet where everyone could take what they wanted. Wait staff was nice but food not on the buffet came out very slow. The location was perfect & within a 10 minute walk to the waterfront mall, shops & food. Front desk staff was very friendly & helpful. Maid service was weird. They do not knock before entering your room, they just walk right in!

The location of this property is superb. The staff, especially the front desk is very helpful. We were given a better / upgrade room since the booked room did not have a great view. The breakfast buffet was great. Disliked · Other than breakfast, the rest of the food is very ordinary. The rooms and the open balconies look and feel a bit run down. The cleanliness of the rooms need some looking into, although it was done after a few requests.

Very poor and appalling customer service. I bought vouchers for a group of friends to have dinner and drinks at the hotel and also forwarded the vouchers to them. On the day that my group of friends went for the dinner and drinks, they were told that I never paid. It took about 3 hours to get the mess sorted out. If you not going to check on the 3rd party sites you advertise on why do it in the first place. I've given you a 1 star because there's no option for a negative rating. I would not recommend this place even to my worst enemy.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are good. Breakfast outstanding. No proper and clearly marked drop-off zone and reception. To find parking in parking bay was a very bad experience. Staff did not answer intercom from parking bay.

Second time staying here! Flight was delayed so had an ungodly checkin time of 4am after a long night at the airport, staff were amazing and extremely accommodating. Even restaurant staff were aware of our arrival times and went above and beyond to accommodate our late breakfast! You guys are all amazing . Esp Lucky. Thank you

Kids absolutely loved the place, it easy to access everything you wish. A stone throw away to V& A , Walkable distance. The views are amazing, it gets too busy in the mornings since it is located at the mouth of the harbor, the noise it something else. Customer service was great. Kitchen utensils from the restaurant needs an upgrade.

Most wonderful experience. We would highly recommend this unit. Everything was spotless clean on our arrival. Place is stylishly decorated, and well equipped. We were in unit 205

Pretty reasonable all in all. Close to the waterfront (10min walk), and right next to the canal where you can get water taxis durong the day to and from the waterfront. The room I was in was clean and neat - I just wasn't a fan of the open-plan layout

The staff and management goes over and above their duties. We had a family emergency during our stay and the assistance as well as care provided was exceptional. They accommodated us and ensured everything was catered for. In today's way of business this is totally unheard of but I truly say.....the team places the customer first. On behalf of myself and my family.....Thank You.

Unfortunately we can't give you 5 points. The location of the hotel is excellent but the service need to approve: the room wasn't clean enough and we had to ask to change our towels every they. Also, we had to pay extra money in order to get good coffee at breakfast

What an amazing experience... From start to finish our stay was absolutely wonderful, it surely was an all-round amazing experience. The Staff were very attentive and very accommodating (Front Desk Reception, Restaurant staff, Housekeeping, Security, Maintenance... Literally every department). Our Family would like to Thank each and every one of you for going above and beyond your call of duty, your Service was impeccable. Food and Location was also another plus which lived up to expectations. We will most definitely return before relocating. Thank you aha Harbour Bridge Hotel & Suites Team

Getting to the hotel is a bit of a struggle, confusing. The rooms are spacious, had a deluxe room. Although, there is an awkward smell, almost like someone would be smoking in non-smoking room.

The service was amazing, but the shower has no light and the tap isn't fastened, so it falls off, the paint is coming off the wall. The orange juice for breakfast had a funny taste that I can't describe like it was almost off.
