    Great stay. Exceptionally clean. But the most satisfying is the staff, I have not felt so at home in a long while, from the porters to the managers, all very friendly. Well done to the management of this hotel, on good staff relationships. Only one thing that makes this 4/5 and not 5/5 - no valet parking service.

    I had a good stay at the hotel but very disappointed with the few staff members over there. Few days back during breakfast i lost my cell phone on the breakfast table in just 2-3 mins. We had accessed the CCTV footage and saw that one of the waiter was fidetting with the phone. After that we contacted the supervisor but they were not responding properly and they even said that the waiter is not coming for his duty. I have been very disappointed with the whole situation and with the staff members. Expect an immediate response. Thank you

    Very modern hotel with beautiful rooms and a gorgeous dining area. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, honestly can't wait to go back for another stay.

    This is the place to celebrate any special occasion. Was treated like royalty the entire time. The deputy manager, Demera made sure our stay was extraordinary. Such a professional and lovely woman! I’m certain I’ve found my new favourite hideaway spot 🤗

    Me and our group had a business trip to Cape Town for 4 days. And we are lucky to stay in this hotel. We were having trouble with the full of water in the room on the first day. They wrote letters to apologize and it went with our language. That's so warm. But receptionists are helping us with changing luxury rooms. We could even enjoy cooking and using the washing machine in the room. I especially wanted to thank you, Victor and Moegamat. In the mornings, we used to have early morning breakfast. The girls are so sweet and patient. I wanted to thank Thulile and Vuyokazi. You can get nice cups of coffee to take away. The boy, Loyiso was so professional and helpful with arranging the transportation. We will definitely live in this hotel again.

    Worst service ever!! I went in few days ago to make a reservation for the best day of my life and spoke to two of their managers. They gave me an email address where I emailed them just to put everything down on a email for me no one bothered to get back to me and I called several times spoke to different staffs about it, still no one was even bothered to help sending a simple menu on a email it’s a problem with these guys. I would definitely consider booking with another hotel restaurant where customers are respected and attended to, not these unprofessional employees who make empty promises to their clients.🤦‍♂️

    Stunning interior and great ambiance. The food was okay I recommend the pasta opposed to the dry burger. The service was terrible a table of 8 people and they forgot about us. Had to speak to the manager multiple times to get service. Considering it was a busy night it is what it is.

    Phenomenal Hotel with the most beautiful interior setting you will ever see in Cape Town. The staff is extremely professional and always willing to assist. The view of Table Mountain is amazing! They also have these unique rooms that are dedicated alcoholic brand rooms that you can stay in. Simply amazing.

    This hotel is all you need for a relaxing weekend with your spouse or business trip. They have a fantastic restaurant onsite with the most amazing food. The Capital on Orange has the most beautiful rooms, very modern and clean. There is also Mangwanani Spa hidden inside the hotel. My actual rating is 8/5 stars.

    I had a complicated stay at the Capital. The bad: during our experience at the spa we were robbed. Our locker was tampered with, and my husbands wedding ring and cash was stolen. We asked the hotel for help and/or compensation for the ring - they declined without so much as an apology. We still have not heard about our police report or investigation, a month later. They noted no cameras or security entering or inside the spa at all. The good: we were upgraded to a better suite and generally treated well. The location is lovely, as is the amenities and room service. Overall: complex feelings. The hotel is almost a 5-star, wonderful experience but when push comes to shove, the staff did not care about theft - employee or other guest - and the spa staff belittled us and made us feel awful for “making a big deal” of it. We were on our honeymoon and it broke our hearts to be treated like a problem when this happened.

    The service from the staff the moment we arrived was fantastic, from the butler to the reception staff. The bar staff and also the kitchen staff super…the food was magnificent better than some well known restaurants at the Waterfront. The managers always checking up on guests every now & then made us feel very special. Great value for money…My husband and I were highly impressed we had a wonderful stay. Overall it was my husband’s birthday getaway and the hotel including the spa made it very special for him and we were both very happy 😃

    Loved our night stay here. Rooms were neat. Linen pillows and beds were excellent. Bathroom as well. The showers were very nice. Breakfast is pricey if not taken in the price. No views from the room. Room facing the reception area. Maybe ask for a better facing room. Also it is a bit far out from Waterfront area. It's a drive but a nice drive. There a few eateries and garages nearby.

    Overall, it was a positive experience. Rooms are clean, modern with tea/coffee making facilities. The staff are hospitable and welcoming. The spa was amazing and great beauty treatments, but my manicure wasn’t the best as she cut into my skin whilst doing my cuticles. I requested my money back for this, which I did get back in the end. At the hotel reception (not the salon reception), there was a female manager who we saw daily when we went for breakfast, she was so rude to me when they were going to process my refund. They required the same physical card I paid with, I paid using the Revolut app (don’t have a physical card), I was unsure what the card number was and took like 2 mins finding it on the app, she was getting frustrated and even shouted at me but I remained polite and apologised. She needs to learn some courtesy, manners and improve her customer skills.

    You know you have had a great experience when you convinced that they upgraded your rooms, but actually it’s the rooms you booked … I was delighted by the reservation lady (I think Liezel) making a special effort to ensure that we had interconnecting rooms … the entire experience from room to dining was amazing. My only suggestion would be to add more veg options on the dining menus but besides this the stay was wonderful and I would recommend to anyone ! Will be there again for a longer stay next time so I can try the spa as well .

    We had an amazing stay, the room was fairly spacious with modern finishes. Lovely deep bathtub. 24 hour room service is why we'd come back. We had the best toasted club sandwich delivered to our room after checking in shortly after midnight.

    Lovely modern hotel. I stayed in one of the "vip pods" as they call them. Lovely spacious room, great ambience and fun with the themes. Only had breakfast and a wild buffet selection.

    The rooms with lower price are not nice. There is minimal to zero natural light - the windows are directly close to another neighbor such that it's recommended to keep curtains closed to enjoy your own company. The floor rugs aren't cute as well. The air-conditioning is also not up to par. For me it remained at 19.5 degrees Celsius whether I wanted lower or more, it would quickly revert to that. The cheaper rooms I would recommend if you are to spend 1 or 2 days then leave. If you are to spend more than that then you will be displeased with your stay. At times when I am about to shower, I can smell sewerage or a funky smell, or a smell like something underground is brewing. Other than that it is just great gowns, beautiful gowns (from Aretha Franklin), nothing more.

    First impressions always last... The Capital 15 on Orange has really out done themselves, the experience was a real luxurious one. The entire staff and Manager Angus Van Aarde was professional and friendly, really felt like a home away from home. Our suite was clean and tidy, everything was available what was needed. The waitor Athanathi really went over and beyond his service and catered to our every need. Well done to the entire management, keep up the good work. Definitely have a guest for life.

    This truly is a 5 star hotel. Awesome hotel setting, great location, professional friendly staff, cool modern rooms and works like a well oiled machine! Will definitely be back! Thank you for displaying that true Cape Town hospitality that brings us Joburgers back! Shout out to you Angus and Sakhile for the continued great conversations, banter and service! The capital team rocks! Will definitely be back.

    Besides the hotel completing messing up our food order the first night and us having to wait nearly 2 hrs for it to come, the service was excellent and the rooms were probably some of the prettiest rooms I've ever seen in a hotel. Downstairs in the lobby where the restaurant and bar was I witnessed some of the most friendly staff. Definitely will come back here if I'm in Capetown again

    As always, exceptional service. Helpful and friendly staff. Great for hosting business meetings with international investors and spoiling your significant other to their Signature Pods, Hennessy being my favourite. Reasonably priced given the world class experience compared to surrounding hotels of their calibre. Hope this was helpful.

    Beautiful setting and lovely decor. We only ate at the restaurant and the food was just average. Based on the look and feel when you arrive I expected more. Maybe they specialise more in the hotel/accommodation than the restaurant. The waitress was very friendly and professional. A few of us bumped their head against the low hanging light by the table at some stage of the evening! :-)

    The hotel is very hidden. Secondly i stayed for a week and they didn't change their supper menu, one menu for the whole week. Obvious some day they are giving us left over because its the same menu

    I had the best experience at this hotel. Never have I found a place I love as mush as this hotel. The rooms are a good size, the hotel itself is beautiful and the location is perfect. The staff is incredible friendly, fast always smiling and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel and it will be my first and only choice when in Cape Town.

    We had my friends 50th birthday there, and what an awesome evening we had good food, good company and excellent service. We will be back soon. I can get use to such excellent customer service. Thank 15 on Orange.
