Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel! Friendly staff, stunning rooms and facilities and the location is perfect, surrounded by convenient shops and restaurants in walking distance. I’ll definitely be back ♥️

Our stay was great until we had to check out and deal with the general manager Martin. So like any hotel their was shower gel, shampoo etc in the room. Once they were finished I threw the empty bottles away. Apparently at New Kings this is a crime.on our last day one of the reception staff even came into the restaurant and hovered over us three times to ask us where the empty bottles were. We decided to rather leave the breakfast table and speak to Martine. Wow, now here is someone who shouldn't be in any customer services role. The belittling tone and manner we subjected to was shocking and the insinuation that we took the shower gel etc from the room. I felt like I was in a disciplinary hearing. I even explained that I had no need to take anything from the room as I had come with my own stuff from home. I couldn't belive the audacity to point in my face with her finger after which I banged my hand on the table. Martine is aggressive and can't take her own medicine. I think she's so used to bullying people that it shocks her when someone stands up for themselves. We had to sit in her office for ages listening to how she brought up the ratings of the hotel etc. She even told us about how messy other guests rooms are and that the lady cleaning our room is on a third warning. I had no issues with the lady cleaning our room but it seemed like she was trying to get us to say anything to use as ammunition against this person. I can't believe the unprofessional behaviour. It was so bad when I eventually went back to the breakfast table I was in tears. I will never return and unfortunately my rating is based on Martine's behaviour alone.

Absolutely loved the stay, views from my room was spectacular. Service at reception as well as cleaning staff so kind. The restaurant was the highlight of the stay. Would definitely recommend as well as book again. Rates was not to bad compared to neighbouring hotels in Sea-point.

Just returned from a 6 night stay and the experience was lovely. The location is ideal for walking to restaurants, shops, and the beach is a block away. The hop on-hop off bus is also a block away making it ideal for sightseeing. The staff are phenomenal! From the GM, to Jameil, to the room attendants, to the others who were always ready with answers, pleasant conversations, and hospitable. The hotel is in a building housed with other business such as a grocery store, liquor store, spa, gift shop and Zest restaurant. The king room with ocean view was large and spacious offering plenty of space to store clothes/suitcases. There's also an in room safe. I felt safe navigating the community. The room was clean and modern. The impacts of load shedding was minimal with a generator. Uber was plentiful waiting less than 5 minutes. I would highly recommend your next stay in Sea Pointe with New kings!

Stayed for 3 nights. Nice, clean and comfortable room. Good location and good service. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great big rooms with all the facilities. The hotel is located within a mall which is a bit strange. They chraged me for parking although was stated that it's included (after a short discussion I got refunded)

An elegant setup yet comfortable too. The management including the cleaning staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. Close to a variety of amenities as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfortable yet classy accomodation at a reasonable price.

We had an unfortunate experience and hope that the team will make changes so that nobody has the same experience. The location is great; a walk away from the beach, shops and restaurants. The cleaning staff was friendly and kind. Unfortunately, our stay was not great from check in. We were allocated to a room and the key did not work. After reporting the key issues, we were then allocated to another room which had a noisy extractor fan and the generator that went on at midnight kept us up due to the noise. The hotel had scheduled for maintenance to take place just outside the room the next day. There was drilling, banging and grinding right outside our room. After a while (when we had raised our concerns) we were moved to another room in the afternoon. The room we were moved to was better but we felt robbed after the experience we had the first day/night. When checking out, we were then told that there was an outstanding balance (but we had paid before arrival). After querying this, it seemed that the systematic changes were not done when we were moved to another room, resulting in the outstanding balance but they were able to resolve it.

I stayed at the New Kings Sea Point 20-23 Feb 2022 and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Every member of the staff was professional and friendly. Bradley, Mario, Lyden, Justin, Tia and Martine all went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable. I stayed in a deluxe room on the fifth floor (511?) which was spacious and well decorated with high ceilings and a large window with a city view across Solomons Road toward Bantry Bay. The room was spotless when I checked in and the housekeeping staff kept it that way. Wifi was fast and reliable. I had a couple of good meals at Zest restaurant. Many seats offer an ocean view. Security is good as the hotel lobby is on the second level. Hotel location is outstanding with an array of dining options nearby as well as several well-stocked groceries in the area including two in the same building as the hotel. The beach promenade is a short walk (400 m) and Saunders Rocks Beach is about 800 m walking from the hotel. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and leisure. New Kings is a cut above. Good value for the price. I will stay there again.

Spacious rooms with bar fridge, access to shops without living the building, staff is very friendly, hotel is super clean. Zest restaurant inside the hotel is amazing.

Our stay was fantastic! Thank you to Bradley and his amazing team of professionals. I love the energy of this hotel, it feels very family-like which leaves you with a sense of comfort, almost like a luxurious home away from home. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean, and the views are to die for. We spent some time at Zest, which was extraordinary as well. Thank you Bradley and team for creating a magical atmosphere, we will be back in summer!

Great service and great view of the sea if you get the right room I was upgraded to deluxe level and it was a beautiful stay, management was super.

Mocktails are not great. No pina colada or strawberry daquiri. The food however is equisite. I had prawns which was delicious and cauliflower side dish. Their sweet potato side dish and starter is a must try. I had the asian beef fillet starter which was good it has ginger in it.

What a great experience I had although only one night! It blew me away and I felt like A KING! Thank you Bradley and other staff for making it a day to remember! For those behind the scenes, we'll done superb service!
