We booked at the Coloseum hotel to spend our anniversary. We had a dinner booking close by. The hotel and staff were great. Greeted from the minute we walked into the hotel and received superb service all around. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this hotel. The rooms and internet were great. It felt like we were the royalty that they waited for to arrive! So spoiled and cared for like no other place! Superior location. Excellent coffee!. Devine breakfast. More than enough !! Nothing not to like about this Hotel.

The suite was spacious, however the pendant light hanging very low on the right hand side of the bed was a hazard. No soap dish by the only hand basin in the bedroom. The second day the bath towels were not replaced so had to make use of hand towels to dry off after showering. Friendly staff, Good breakfast in the Mozambiq restaurant. Hotel was very clean and in walking distance to the Mall. I would recommend this place.

The room was comfy and the staff friendly. Free and secure parking. Not too far from the mall. Unfortunately, I could not sleep due to noise. I made 3 noise complaints over 3 hours but it was only resolved past midnight. Also, for a luxury hotel it felt pretty standard.

Stayed in the penthouse. The service was great and the rooms were clean. Offered a wide range of furniture and equipment which made it feel like home.

Gary in reception was incredible and the moat friendly and helpful staff member. No matter what time of day or night - if I needed anything, it was always a YES.

Gréât and clean place to stay. Staff is very nice and helpful. Parking is free. Breakfast the choice is not huge but for the price it’s ok.

I stayed here for a week. The room was great and I liked the apartment studio type set up. The only thing was the dark passage during loadshedding in the lobby to my room. Otherwise it was fabulous.

We spent 10 nights in their luxary suite when we visited Cape Town. Our room has beautiful city view, and we enjoined their restaurant Mozambik which locates right on their M floor.

The walls are very thin and neighbours very noisy. Was here for two weeks and won’t stay here again. The staff however are very friendly and helpful. Probably 2 or 3 star hotel rather than 4 star.

Stunning place to stay, I was on business, so no disappointments at all. Recommend, thanks for a pleasant stay

Good accommodation, beautiful rooms, but I had to give it only 3 stars. I stayed for 2 nights over the weekend, and was very pleasantly surprised by the room - spacious, modern, beautiful. What made my stay cumbersome was that every time I went to my room, my access card wouldn’t work. Day1: I called reception to report it, and maintenance was called to fix the issue. Maintenance found out that the batteries in the access machine on the door didn’t were dead, and they said they would replace the batteries the next day. The batteries were replaced on the day I checked out. Considering I was there for business, I was in and out of the hotel a few times during the day, and every time I asked whether the batteries had been replaced, I was told to go check the door - and every time I had to call reception to bring maintenance to charge the access machine (as opposed to replacing the batteries). Not a big deal, but it’s those small issues that really put a damper on one’s mood, especially after a long day.

Although the hotel is in an excellent location and very beautiful with stunning views of beach and table mountain, our family stay was very disappointing. Firstly the reception team very unprofessional and not willing to assist or guide guests. We stayed over 2 nights .We could not sleep on the first night, the windows were not closing and it was raining heavy and very windy and maintenance could not sort out until next day. Reception was very rude and unhelpful until 2am we were being given run around and only moved to another room around 3am Was very disappointed with stay as the hotel was highly recommended and really beautiful location but definitely does not keep up to the standard with rooms not being maintenanced.

The location is very convenient with woolies and clicks just downstairs and Mozambik restaurant right there, but no adapter plugs to be found and not a hair dryer in sight. Noone responds to the text message for the concierge so don't bother...The bath in my room was a massive winner though! Enjoyed my stay all in all

The rooms need to be renovated in order for the hotel to be considered a luxury hotel, I love where the hotel is situated because it is surrounded by other hotels, restaurants and shops. The view of the ocean and table mountain is absolutely stunning.

Great rooms, great front desk and hotel staff but only 3 stars...The reception smells like a kitchen, like oil and smoke, especially in the morning. The dining area looks like a fast food joint which is what Mozambik is. The breakfast doesn't compare with other 4 star hotels and they cook in the restaurant in the mornings with no extractor fans hence the terrible smell. I don't recommend room service from Mozambik- I ordered chicken and chips. Took 40 mins the chips were terrible, discoloured, oily and chicken order incorrect (lemon butter not peri peri)

Location, Location, Location Absolutely love the look, design and layout of these rooms at the Colosseum hotel. Within walking distance to the Canal walk mall, Tigers milk Century city and Hussar Grill century city. Excellence at its best. There is a Vida e café and woolies store on the ground floor, I mean how convenient is that? I will definitely visit and be back

This hotel is home for me. I'm literally a repeat offender😅 and with good reason. They are the best. From reception, housekeeping, porter services, driver services, and the cherry on top having Mozambik restaurant downstairs 👌

One of the two rooms we booked had the beautiful view of the Table Mountain. The breakfast was delicious. I loved that its closer to Canal Walk. Next time when I'm in Cape Town, I'll definitely book there again.

Century city is not the most glam part of Cape Town. Decent rooms. Could do with a bit of attention to detail. One small bottle of water per day is a joke. Glasses for water and more thoughtful lighting will help. Great views of bay and the table mountain. Mozambik is great restaurant but breakfast is a bit jaded

Our second stay at this hotel. We had a room with a balcony this time which was quite nice as we enjoy the morning sun. Everything was great this time around. We didn't opt for the breakfast this time, as we had bookings elsewhere for dinner and lunch. But the stay was good and we love the complimentary Coffee machines in the lobby areas.

We treated ourselves to a local break away. Hotel is beautiful. Close to shops and centre. Booking quick and easy. View of city and Table Mountain. Some improvement with customer service with reception feedback required but overall great stay

First of all, the staff are super friendly and helpful. Secondly, the room is sooo cool. It was my birthday and my mom's birthday, so they put up cards in the elevators and decorated our room with a banner and flowers and gave us a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates. Even hand written cards. 12/10 would recommend. Prices are not bad, actually for this type of hotel and how excellent everything is it's a veryyyy good price. I would most definitely come here again and recommend to others. Keep it up guys. You made my birthday special and memorable.

Pent house was lovely. Stayed a full week. My only complaint was that the lady cleaning the room always just did a surface clean and never a proper clean, this was over a week stay.

Was there for a ladies breakfast..lovely but not as extravagant as I would have thought..very basic..the cereals ..yoghurts and fruit was in small containers.. enough to eat as one can only eat that much..food wasn't as warm as one would like..service very helpful..offered to make different eggs as only scramble was set out.sausages tasty but bacon was cold as well..pleasant but not wow..juices..coffee and teas was also available on the buffet..

Nice hotel but my colleagues and I got very sick. Not sure from what but we have emailed the hotel, notifying them. Still no response. I don't know if it's the food or water. We were ill for 6 days.

Reception staff was friendly however they all had different things to say when we asked them questions about our stay. No consistency. We had halaal breakfast ordered, which we found out they had ordered the Friday for our entire stay and kept it in the fridge. Every breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs which was kept in the fridge since friday. The muffin was so dry I asked the gentleman if I could get a fresh one from the buffet he told me no I would be charged because I already got my halaal meal. We paid for buffet breakfast we were under the impression we could have of anything even the fresh fruit. Non the less. The housekeeper left her dish rag in the room the day before and when she came the next day she used the same dish rag to clean the room, the entire room smelt sour. The receptionist called our room and my husband kept saying hello while he spoke to his colleagues unaware that the call was answered. Overall the room is really nice and the view. But management needs to train all the staff properly everything should flow as one.

Staffs are very welcoming and polite. Driver who picked me from airport was an awesome personality. He stands for hospitality standards. Good place for business & family stay.
