The
rooms
are
actually
quite
nice
in
this
hotel
and
the
location
is
fantastic.
Overall,
we
had
a
pretty
bad
experience
when
checking
in,
we
were
not
there
for
even
2
minutes
when,
as
a
South
African,
you
are
expected
to
pay
a
'Tourism
Fee'.
I
refuse
to
pay
this
as
a
South
African
citizen.
Lord
knows
we
pay
for
this
via
PAYE
and
VAT.
This
was
met
with
a
'It
is
what
it
is'
response
by
both
the
on
shift
manager
and
the
check-in
consultant.
Despite
paying
for
parking,
the
security
guard
on
duty
also
seemed
to
really
dislike
tourists
-
Berating
them
and
having
an
issue
with
us
parking
despite
paying
R50
a
day
for
parking.
This
was
raised
with
a
manager.
However,
it
seemed
like
I
had
put
a
target
on
my
back
by
doing
so,
being
scowled
at
for
the
rest
of
my
stay,
and
every
time
this
specific
guard
was
on
duty.
I
suspect
that
the
aircons
are
not
cleaned
on
a
regular
basis
as
I
arrived
in
the
City
of
Cape
Town
as
healthy
as
an
ox
and
after
leaving
the
aircon
on
for
an
evening,
immediately
had
a
sniff
for
the
rest
of
my
stay.
Lastly,
I
have
stayed
at
many
hotels
in
CPT
and
I
have
never
heard
of
the
included
breakfast
closing
at
9AM,
as
a
person
staying
in
the
CBD,
you
would
expect
that
your
guests
are
up
until
late
in
the
Mother
City,
so
most
people
surface
at
about
9.
To
be
honest,
you're
not
really
missing
out
on
much
because
of
how
basic
most
of
these
dishes
are.
I
went
to
breakfast
for
a
total
of
2
times
throughout
my
stay,
and
the
food
choice
hadn't
had
any
variety
at
all.
To
sum
it
all
up,
if
you're
looking
for
an
incident
free
and
seamless
stay,
with
everything
inclusive,
this
is
not
the
place
for
you
to
spend
your
valuable
time
or
money
at.
