Place good and rooms always clean if they can have a smallest bar fridge it was gonna complete all

The reviews that mention that other guests are noisy, are 100% true! Was woken up by a drunken group singing loudly (with backing vocals and everything!) at 6 in the morning.. Went to knock on their room (8 rooms further!) to ask them too please be considerate. Only to find they are STILL drinking. The other nights were more quiet so it's not the lodge's fault. Reception was friendly and shower has pressure. Wifi was working and room was cleaned everyday throughout my trip. Close to a mall to get essentials etc. Maybe a little expensive for 1-star accommodation and is very small, but not bad after all.

Attending a Lions Conference. Accommodation, refreshments and food is a little expensive. Food and drinks can be ordered and enjoyed at a few tables in the reception foyer. N1 City shopping center across the street with a large variety of shops and restaurants.

Good value for money hotel, very close to N1 city mall. Friendly staff.

My baby found a tablet in the room and bit on it we still don't know how room wasn't cleaned there was a incident complaint Laid and no one gets back to me My child was terribly sick ,the room had to be clean it was not beer bottles under the bed and pills

Chloe and Khutso gave us the best service when we were there; we got a non-smoking room that smelled like someone had been smoking before we got in and we asked for a change of room ‘cause the cigarette smell was just awful;they were happy to switch rooms and sorted us out with no issues!

Not so bad to stay in rooms small just to sleep and go.Location is adequate to do business in Cape Town. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you Will stay there again even it's only a one star establishment. Keep up the good work guys

I booked well in advance of my my stay and specifically asked for ground floor due to a hospital stay close by. It appears to have been ignored. May I add, I am 76 yo and the stairs at Road Lodge and Citi Lodge are not pleasant That was bad enough. My night after being released from hospital turned into a nightmare. The noise ommitted by a machine was very disturbing. We had to leave for home a day earlier. I was refunded and all that. It was a nightmare stay. Will book there with great circumspect.

Very friendly Receptionists, great help from Connor and the other short gentleman. Connor went out of his way to speak to other lodge clients to tone down their voices/disturbance. Looking forward to lodge with family in December. Keep it up, Connor!

The staff are solid gold, helpful above and beyond what is expected. Yes I recommend Road Lodge N1 city.

Noisy near a train line... This facility is stingy with towels and coffee in the room. Other guests were rowdy

We had a quiet and comfortable night in this hidden jewel. We have returned, for a 4 night stay. Nice and central for us to visit family snd friends.

There is no service. It takes 45minutes to get your order for beers. You have to ask for assistance and yet No assistance.

Hi, this was a very amazing and relaxing stay. I read previous reveiws and was scared to stay there, I was pleasantly surprised that the staff were friendly and very welcoming and friendly, everything was clean and tidy. Truly a good experience for the price. I would and have recommended the Road Lodge N1 City to all that have a business trip or a short stay over. Thanks and a shout out to the staff!

The room looks normal and I understood that it’s 1 star rating. The service was just bad when it comes to food preparation. Each and every day when I placed an order for my food, even in the morning before I went to work, I would still get my food late. The hotel personnel should be trained more on importance of handover process, because they failed me. Please improve your service, as this will result in us not booking at your lodge through our agency. I will advice my GM not to approve accommodation that do not comply to the set policies and procedures.

Great Service, thank you *Khutso*, but how do I rate the rest when I had to passively smoke Cannabis from my room? This is unacceptable as I am not a smoker and would expect to be placed in a room where my health will not be violated like that. Road Lodge N1 City did not even have an alternate room for me, or solution. I will never come back here, nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone.
