I loved the hotel, there is a really wonderful view of table mountain in the room, the rooms were so beautiful and clean 😍 the cleaning staff were always amazing 👏 they were so friendly and they really loved to take good care of their guests. We felt safe, there was always a security vehicle inside the hotel parking space. Even though the hotel is a Lil bit far to Camps bay, waterfront and table mountain, it has great competitive prices, which make up for the traveling costs to those tourist attractions.

The service is horrible. We went to sun1 milnerton to book our room and the lady at the receptionist was mean and just wasn't in the mood for anyone. We booked for the 24th and the 25th hoping to spend time with my husband before the baby comes. The moment we walk in I couldn't breathe. And ask my husband to turn on the AC.... didn't work. The window don't open right. The lady never said that the AC WASNT WORKING! WE WENT TO COMPLAIN AND ASK A REFUND so we can leave and they said 14 days before we get our 1300 back which is not fair. 14 days. No manager has contacted us, no one. Very unprofessional and we had to cancel our short holidy. When my husband was waiting for details on the refund another couple came in and she instantly told them what was wrong with the room but neve to us. Unfriendly service, and I Want my money back. It's a low budget hotel but it's all we could afford and they took that way From us as well.

I should have read the other reviews. Don't bother writing your generic message: "Dear x Thank you for supporting our hotels and for taking the time to share your experience. We hope that you will afford us the opportunity to positively influence your impression of us in the future. Yours sincerely, SUN1 Hotels Management" I won't revisit your establishment, or brand.

One of the worst stays I had ,WiFi is very slow ,there was no hot water to shower even in the morning, room is so cramped if you are 3 people Only thing I enjoyed is that you can smoke inside the room

Worst decision to book it. I drove from Johannesburg to Cape Town with family. I booked it in advance. As we arrived there receptionist was a stupid lady. First of all she refused to show me the room that I booked than as I presented my ID to her she started yelling at me and demanding everyone’s id whom were there at the end point she forced me to cancel the booking. Time was around 4pm . I drove with family from one hotel to another for our stay. If I know the way to sue them . I must sue them . Around 7pm I got the lodge to stay

This hotel is really amazing. Very neat , affordable and exceptional services. The bunk bed is highly convenient for your lil 1z. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. They have free bottomless coffee or tea throughout the day. Thanks guys. The guy that works night shifts was super helpful and friendly. Amazing indeed. Highly Recommend it when in Cape Town.

Staying at Sun1 Milnerton was a nightmare for me. I had chosen this hotel before reading reviews as I know the area and had always wondered about the hotel. Here are some of the problems I had: 1. The room was the side of a bathroom, stuffy and hot. Aircons were not working and they could not say when they would be fixed. 3. No kettle in the room to make tea(tea available at reception though). 4. The hotel seems to accept large numbers sharing a single room or multiple visitors. As such, the two nights we spent there were as loud as a nightclub. Allowing such behaviours is probably their bread and butter. 5. I bought takeaways and when I arrived to discover the restaurant had not provided cutlery, I asked at reception and they did not have! I had to drive back to the mall to get cutlery as the petrol station next door did not have as well. 6. The TV remote did not work. 7. Filthy carpets on the hallway. Lastly, if you are not familiar with the area, the hotel is next to a slum which some people may find uncomfortable.

We had a triple room which is in the smoking section, absolutely horrible for non smokers, the room is extremely small almost like a formula one set up. Not ideal if you are travelling with too much luggage. Ideal for solo travellers

Stayed here few weeks ago aircon did not work. During this visit the same problem with no resolve. The tv remote was also not working. I took the remote downstairs. Receptionist said here is another six see which one works, needless to say none worked and had no tv display was keypad locked.

Was only informed that the air-conditioning is out of order on arrival and that the facility does not have backup power when loadshedding. No remotes in the room.

No lights during load shedding. Water did drain after shower. Became a small pool. Very small room. Poor ventilation.

We spent over a week at the establishment after a dissapointment as per our air bnb booking. The rooms are big for the price. It was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Its an entry level hotel so no storage space, no room service or means of making tea/coffee in your room. There is a vending machine and coffee station at reception. But its also not far from a garage express shop you can walk to. Had wifi issues so check this before you check in if you are planning to do some work whilst there, fortunately i had my dongle with me. They have no back up system when there is loadshedding, it even affects your ability to shower or flush the toilet. This is one of the reasons we didn't spend our entire time there we moved to another establishment.

Very disappointed the rooms aircorn was not working, toilet flash was broken, and the room had huge stink of cigarette smoke. The TV didn't have a remote. In morning there was a huge fire alarm that kept going off. Awful experience

Decent hotel, But after giving the staff a R20 to get himself something from the vending machine he then complained that I had the free coffee that's offered for the customers when I didn't sleep there, But I did sleep there with a friend of mine so idk what his problem was but it was ok, rooms are small, basic but modern and for it's price it's better than most other options in and around the area.

Not too bad of an accommodation to stay for 1 or 2 nights when you're on a budget. Rooms are very small. Shower and toilet are separate, making it a bit awkward if you're more than 2 individuals. However rooms are clean. There is free coffee and Wi-Fi available. Additionally there is a vending machine downstairs for an evening treat. My recommendations for the hotel would be to remove the carpets in the bedrooms as they make the air smell musty from the shower being so close by and repairing the air conditioning. There are countless reviews of the air conditioners being broken. Occupants come and go as they please so be aware of the noise level before choosing this place.

The service i recieved from Lucky this past weekend was very disrespectful and unprofessional, he could not answer any of my questions and refused to have me check the room as he insisted that i first pay for the room before i seeing it, when i questioned him he referred me to another Hotel, i honestly would not recommend this hotel to anyone, I also wouldn't have given it a star but because i have to in order to proceed with this review i gave a 1star ratting which is actually a zero star rating in my books.

Wow it escalated quickly. Some of my staff staying in this hotel due to a project just completed. I went there to surprise my staff and say thank you for their hard work. The front office person (totally useless) did not even acknowledge me standing at the counter. After 5min I called one of my staff members and requested the room number. I walked off into the hotel area and was chased down by said person telling my ID is required for access to the hotel rooms. That’s after supporting the hotel with 3 x hotel rooms for almost 3 weeks????? Attitude is horrible and I expect a call from management. (Some ppl with a little bit of authority think they own the group)
