Excellent service from Bianca and the management team of Cattle Baron Tyger Waterfront. We had booked our Christmas lunch with friends at their establishment just to find out we have fallen victim of Covid. The team accommodated our booking to less and packed our lunch for take away. We arrived at 12 midday as walk ins .. colleagues taking our Manager out for lunch . The atmosphere was very conducive staff friendly and eager to assist.. quickly made space for 15 guests with no delay.. The waitress who served us was brilliant, patient,very friendly.. think her name is Varleen.. she has been professionally assisting everyone with their orders and variations, a smile on her face will be echoed by all. FOOD O' GLORIOUS FOOD.... mhmm all meals were delicious.. we really enjoyed it. Thanks Varleen will come again.

We visited Cattle Baron 20 October for a date night special. This was fabulous from start to finish, Archie was our waiter and I have not met any waiter this exceptional good! He was friendly, professional, efficient and kept our glasses full. Moving on to the food - every dish was perfectly cooked to perfection, full flavor and generous portions. This was well worth the visit and the location is beautiful! Thank you Archie and Cattle Baron Tyger Waterfront!

I ordered a rare steak, when it came to the table the first one was medium to well done. The waiter returned with another steak which was bleu, sent it back again and got the below. On top of this is was my Grandmother's 87th Birthday, we arrived at 1pm. When we eventually asked how far the food is around 2:45 pm we were told they are busy dishing. Before the food arrives the manager\owner comes to the table and provides a long tedious excuse about the chef who is not present, the backup chef was not able to come in and now her Husband is having to cook the meals. Should you not have said something way before so that it prepared us? Not only my steak was a mess up but a few others and one order was beef ribs which upon serving all of our orders my cousin was told they are out of beef ribs and there is only pork ribs which she had to settle for. My family and I will never return here again, not suggest Cattle Baron Tygerfalls to anyone.

Thoroughly enjoyable and well presented meal. Only let down was a slightly overdone steak, but nothing inedible. Looking forward to next visit.

We had the most amazing experience last night. My daughter turned 18 and had a special night. From arrival, when we were greeted by Knowledge, the manager on duty. We had a special request, which he assisted us with, without hesitation. Then, we were seated and our waiter was very busy. So Musa, another waiter came to take our drinks order and brought it to the table very quickly. Then, Eddie our waiter served us and he was extremely professional and pleasant. He also made sure my daughter got a surprise dessert to close off the night. All in All we had a Super experience and I recommend this place to anyone thinking of going there. Very well trained staff. So friendly and extremely accommodating. I loved every minute there. The steaks are prepared very well according to your requirements. The peaceful sound of the water adds a kind of tranquility to your dining experience. Everything about this Place was perfect, from the cutlery, linen, food, hygiene, staff, the location.. Nice atmosphere and table settings. Food is great a bit costly but the experience made up for it. You may take your own wine without paying corkage that was a big plus point. The service was great I will definitely return.

I have been to this Cattle Baron a few times now, and each time, I have always enjoyed the experience. It is an incredibly well laid out restaurant, great ambience, and can be visited for a night out, brunch, lunch or whatever you want. As with everything, it can be pricey, but the service has been really good, and my girlfriend and I have been blessed with great weather for each occasion we have been at the restaurant. The food quality is very good, well prepared, and flavourful. The ribs we had (as per images) was cooked perfectly and with enough flavour, but I did find it was less meat on the bone that previous, so the grade for it was less. Other than that, I love the overall experience, and would definitely recommend it, even for those winter date nights, as they keep the place nice and comfortably toasty.

Food was excellent. Very nice restaurant and they are quite busy. Service was good. Have a variety of foods for all taste buds. Pricing is also around average to higher range. They have corkage, 1st bottle is free and then you pay R60, R120, etc for every bottle thereafter. They work through load shedding. Parking is a bit of a problem though.

Took my wife to dinner last night at The Cattle Baron Tyger Waterfront. Great location looking out over the water, Faith our waitress was so attentive to our every need, Deon the owner even came around to greet the customers. The food was exceptional, the actual restaurant clean and neat, toilet facilities fantastic, real value for money at arguably the finest restaurant in the Northern suburbs, well done to management & staff (5 STARS !!!!!)

Great food, I especially enjoyed my steak and all 6 of us enjoyed our meals. The cocktail menu had a number of choices which I quite appreciated. Our table had a lovely view of the waterfront.Excellent and friendly service, and I would definitely recommend this place.

Five stars for Louis-Delene, the new owner, who interacted extremely well with her customers and made us feel most welcome. The setting at the Tyger Waterfront is great. A delightful lunch was had by our party of nine.

The view is calming and environment not so busy😎 The stuff is sweet😇 The food is not so best, compared to other Cattle Barons in the Cape. Their portions are preety small😥 Had a great time thou with my girls.

Again, we had such a wonderful time at the Cattle Baron, we celebrated Mothers day there & she SO enjoyed it. The food was really good. Issie was our waitress & she really went out of her way to make it special for us. The manager also came around to check that everything is perfect. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cattle Baron.
