I stayed over at this hotel on Thursday, 20th July as I needed to attend a conference at Century City convention centre. The check in process was fairly simple. The rooms were quite small not what I expected. I am currently 4.5 months pregnant and I ordered room service and informed the waitress that my burger needs to be cooked well done. Not only did I wait an hour for my food, my burger arrived medium-rare 😔 Only for me to wait another 20+ minutes for a new order. Safe to say I won’t be staying over at this hotel again ✌🏽

We’ll i cannot say, without its issues, apart from starting on arrival with only one towel and waiting 2 hours phoning twice for a extra towel to arrive, we very pro-actively filled out the laudrypaper for pick-up ( this was friday morning) as it was a suit for a event the next day at 18:00, needless to say plenty of empty promises from reception, excuses etc, even being told in the middel of it that the laundry was not received….. my husband had to rush to the closest center to buy a suit and have it altered. at17:00 as we had not received any help what so ever … we were late for our event…..embarrassing….. the hotel takes no responsibility….. and we will not recommend not ever stay at thís hotel ever. There is NO SERVICE! Very disappointed and will spread the word.

Attendance is awesome. Very friendly and very competent. The breakfast is complete and has good quality. I would stay again in the future, but a few things reduced the brightness of the stay, though. - Soundproofing of the room was not great. I would wake up during the night with people talking on the street or cars accelerating. It would benefit from double-pane windows. - The blackouts are great, but they don't cover the boundaries. As a consequence, when the sun rises the room gets bright inside. I would recommend tying the boundaries to the wall using velcro. - On the first 3 days the room smelled like sewage. I didn't complain because I thought the smell came from the reused water of the toilet. So, nature comes first. But the smell disappeared after I stopped using the room heater. It's maybe a coincidence, but I can't explain what was done. After the bad smell disappeared the scent of the room was fantastic. - The room environment control was not great. Sometimes I would program 23 Celsius and it left the room at 20. I have a thermometer that I always bring with me. One day, just for testing, I set it to 28 Celsius and the room stayed at 24 after hours. Also, after a power outage recovery, the control powers up set to 21 Celsius. I woke up a couple of mornings freezing after a power outage happened while I was asleep. The control should record the last set and come up with it when powered up, instead. - One day, the final quarters of the rugby cup was happening and I wanted a peaceful place to have dinner. But all areas of the Square restaurant had TVs with high volume transmitting the match. I had no option outside the hotel because all the restaurants around had either the match or loud music playing. So, I saw that the external area of the hotel was the only place that I could go to. The temperature was uncomfortable but at least the noise was lower. To my surprise, someone turned on the TV in the external area after I ordered my meal. It was very disappointing. You could provide at least one small spot without a TV for people who are not into rugby.

Nice quick and easy access. Great menu. Has a night vibe to those who love night life. Please fix the 🐜 problem besides it it's a magnificent place

After a mishap I was impressed in how Renato the line manager took the time to call and solve for my issue. It's not often the issue at hand but how we solve that counts, thanks to Bongani for calculating & for valuing customer service!

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Very corporate which for me is a good thing - my crowd. Everything was just perfect. The room was minimalistic yet modern. The screen had your name on it with a welcome message. Breakfast was delicious with smoked salmon and an espresso machine that made pretty good coffee with the crema finish.

Great hotel. Everything was flawless except perhaps that it was a little crowded at breakfast and the waiting at the egg station prompted me to rather have something else.

Spacious Rooms. Not crazy about the registration process, I had great views. Excellent restaurant in the hotel. La Parada and Tigers Milk restaurants are around the corner. Beautiful and safe neighborhood for evening and morning runs. Quick room service.

I do not have any kind words for the arrogant manager Renato who embarrassed me as I was checking in with my colleagues. It was a group booking but I was told I should have checked in the previous day. She told me that there was nothing they could do because the hotel was full. There were other guests by the reception who were shocked by her drama. We had to pull out emails as proof that it was indeed a group booking then all of a sudden the hotel was no longer full. That took us an hour to sort out. I thought she was going to apologize in person, but she did not. You are in that position because of people, learn to treat people right

Very nice hotel, rooms are basic but has all that you would need. They are centrally located in a business district. The service was incredible. The restaurant was very pretty, open plan and quite chilled. It overlooks other restaurants like La Parada and Tigers Milk. Very vibey on the weekend. Very safe area. Very clean. Would probably stay here again.

Convenient location given that I was in town for a conference. Upon checking in, I was told by staff that I would have the ability have late check out at the end of my stay. I even offered to book an extra night to hold the room, but was told that I needed to wait till only to be told at the end of my stay they they were fully booked and couldn’t accommodate a late check out. This ruined an otherwise pleasant experience.

My stay at Century City Urban Square Hotel was such a pleasure. The room was clean and comfortable. Every staff member we encountered was amazing and went beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommended

Service is excellent, and conference facilities are top-notch. Great breakfast buffet.

Rooms clean and neat. The restaurant is great. Proximity to the Canal Walk is most exciting. A need to improve breakfast is worth noting.

I must say this is my favourite place for cocktails on a Friday afternoon..after my visit yesterday I must say I'm very disappointed my sister and I ordered cocktails the lady brought them no garnish just ice and two slices of lemon🤔 When we questioned that the barman seemed very confused he has no idea of what a cocktail must look like..there was a lady at the bar by the name of Zuki she's the only one that can make the best cocktails..she's the only person that kept me coming back for more!!! Please do something !!!!

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, private bathroom area, good security, bar was well stocked 👍 A suggestion , allow the room card to access and pay for the parking boom gate, Makes it easier than getting a ticket from reception.

The bar tiger milk next door is more worse than any construction site. Music loud like at a festival until 11 p.m. and longer. The hotel staff doesn't mind. The stay was an ordeal.

Really great service and friendliness. Loved the room and the sheets were amazing. Shower was one of best I have ever had at a hotel! Breakfast was delicious and all in all a great mini breakaway! Thank you Century City Hotel staff.

Attended a conference here and the facilities provided were very nice. Big venue areas, great digital projectors. Coffee services were provided by Vida themselves. Food catering was very well done and was very enjoyable. All in all a good experience.

Absolutely beautiful.. the nature aspect of it is what makes it more appealing. The rooms are spacious and clean. Modern furnishings. Overall amazing place to live if you love being surrounded by water and animals. 💛

The water bottles in the rooms ate not sealed, they are refillable. Very far from the city center, nearlly 20 minutes

I stayed at this hotel recently as it’s right next to the convention center which is very convenient. There are also restaurants in walking distance. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good although the hot food was a little on the cold side. The service at the cafe during the day is terrible. Long waits for your order and even longer waits for a waiter to attend to you.
