Rondebosch park is in Sandown Road. There is a parking lot opposite the park and public toilets at the entrance. We went there as there was a market. Apparently it happens every 2nd Saturday from January to May. Some lovely stalls and lots of goodies to eat. There's tables and chairs for you to eat at otherwise take a blanket and sit under the trees. There's also a park for the little ones. It was a lovely morning and something for the whole family.

Perfectly nestled among some of the best schools in Cape Town and Restaurants along Campground. It's one of the parks that's been actively maintained, and boasts with huge trees and thick cooling shade. The community is making use of the park, and an ever growth craft market every month. Stands are decorated with top quality craftsmanship products it's a place to be for inspiration. Also the park is quite friendly you won't believe.

We love going to this park, theirs just too much dog poop all over. Very unfair that owners are not picking up after their dogs.

Free access park in the city. It is was well maintained, when I was there, and has a kids playground. This is also a park where pet dogs are allowed to run off the leash. There is parking and toilet facilities and lots of people around.

Especially nice in the Spring and Summer months. Plenty of shade under the numerous trees. Bring a book, your snacks and settle down on on of the many benches available in the park or simply sit on the grass. Despite the busy roads you barely even notice the sound of passing cars.

We went to visit the bi-annual pottery market. Amazing product and well laid out for the clients. A very popular market.

Interspersed with beautiful tall trees, which are home to all kinds of birds and squirrel families, provide lightly dappled shade throughout this wonderfully peaceful park. The Rondebosch Market sets up here every second Saturday of the month (weather permitting). This too I would highly recommend visiting with the family, or a date ;)

Convenient parking at The Marke tin the Park. Great selection of food and home baked goodies. The chocolate cake looked exceptionally tasty and according to my friend it was. Bought a loaf of sourdough and handmade cotton summer top. Very happy with my purchases and am definitely a fan of this Market.

We went to the Craft Market at Rondebosch Park. It was really enjoyable. Because Christmas is just around the corner, there were many more stalls than previously.....it was a perfect day... enjoyable just to wander around and look at all the stalls and just breathe in the fresh air! A really enjoyable morning! Loads of gift ideas!!

Such a lovely family friendly park. I love that there are seperate age appropriate play areas for kids. Make me feel at ease that my little one can play in a safe environment. There is a small skate park and loads of ground to walk your dog or go for a run. Benches for picnics and family gatherings. Sometimes they host little markets at the park over the weekend which is lovely. There's even a little van that serves coffee and cookies! So enjoyable! And they have seperate restroom, bring toilet paper and hand sanitizer as you will struggle to find any

First Art in the Park market for some time. Excellent variety of art, quality and value. Small food and beverages especially great coffees all under the trees. Adequate parking and security as well. Great atmosphere and such a creative atmosphere in contrast to recent narratives.

Amazing Cape Town vibe. Thrifts, handmade items, art & traditional food. Young & old. Music & happy people milling around under huge wild fig trees. 😍

Really awesome park to go for a walk, there are lots of pathways and shade for hot days. It's quite large so you can spend a fair amount of time walking and everyone is very friendly. There is a sign asking you to not steal clivias, so they must have some good ones.

Beautiful, lovely, lots of vibe and people who have talents to show and sell to others. It was a cold day on Saturday, but it did not stop my daughter and I, to go there. Just like other people we saw, we were all there for the same vibe!

Avoid the designated parking. Your car will be damaged and the park takes no responsibility for that. Keep your dog on a leash. I have witnessed a little dog being mauled by a bigger dog. Very upsetting. Also, not everyone cleans up after their dogs, so be careful where you step. There is no freshwater facility for dogs.

Finally the park has improved the public toilets. The park also has a cute little well kept new garden at the public toilets. Well done to Maria she is responsible for the little garden. Otherwise the park is looking much improved. Thank you Mr. John Dodo and to your staff

This market should be advertised much more. It is such a pleasure walking by the various stalls as not one sells the same item as another. I found the items unique compared to other markets. They will definitely be seeing us again. Karin
