    An experience like no other. It is genuinely a new wave of entertainment post the Mzolis era. The venue is cleaner, more spacious with lovely and energetic weekly DJs that belt out the latest tunes. Located in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, Western Cape this place is genuinely a party goer's oasis. The venue is allround fun filled with quick service staff that are always willing and able to help. The dance floor area is huge and so is the sitting area. The VIP, the bar and kitchen areas are also well kempt and are neat. Its a lovely place to spend a weeknd afternoon and evening. 👌👌👌👌

    Proper place to have a good time at. Security is on point, toilets are kept clean and the dj's keep the crowd entertained. The vibes are immaculate. Definitely will visit again just to have more fun again. Oh yeah and not forgetting the meat guys 🤤 a bit pricey but worth it. I would recommend visiting this establishment if you wanna unwind.

    Great experience.. Try to go with a group of friends, you'll appreciate the vibe even more. Food was great, especially the pap.. , drinks affordable but the best part was the music, the DJ's are epic.. 👌. A must experience if you're a Capetonian..

    Great vibe, gets really packed so arrive early to get a seat. Literally one of the best places to go if you're looking for a great crowd. A lot of the people there go to “work” and they will use every opportunity to pickpocket you. Guard your belongings with your life and leave any valuables behind. I recently had my drink spiked there so despite it being really amazing, you have to be on guard and just careful, which can take away from having fun.

    This is one place you shouldn't leave Cape Town without ever coming to. I would say Fridays and Saturdays are more of heavy partying and Sundays are beautiful chilled vibes, having experienced all the above days. It's about the people, the music, the food. 😍

    All was fine except for the meat on Dec 16th I couldn't figure if it was beef it tasted a like lamb...instead of what I thought it could have been beef. If like good vibes I recommend📍❤😍😍

    The venue was closed when we visited. It seemed they were doing routine maintenance at the time. They only operate between Tuesday and Sunday. We waited around until we asked if they were open. Nobody bothered to ask us if we needed help before that... Indication of the service you can expect?

    Friendly waiters friendly though very cautious ⚠️ , Barrister 2 lighten up 🤯🥳 Spacious heated dining floor 😍 👌🏿 Nice vibes with music 🎶. Meal 🍽🍲 on 👉🏾,, with exception 4 not having starter🥗 meals 👎🏾 🥃served well on rocks 👌🏿 The Only high 👎down was with 🍸🍹as there's Only one kind.

    Get there early if you want a table. Meat and sides were delicious. Alcohol prices were reasonable. The best part about Rands is the amazing atmosphere and music. Everyone is there to have a good time. There is plenty of security, we felt safe at all times. We had no issues with catching and Uber'd back home.

    Great great vibe, DJs know how to set the mood. The braai meat was delicious as were the salads! Drinks are reasonably priced. Pity it was windy so we couldn’t dance the night away as we had no jackets.

    My first time in Khayelitsha and oh wow I loved this place. Great waiters for what I’m used to when it comes to places like this... Wide variety of drinks... And the food, the R500 platter was worth every cent, think I’d get less that amount of meat at a butcher or grocery store... Well prepared for loadshedding, the fun didn’t stop and oh the vibe, the people here... Great Great Great vibes. Loved every minute of my experience here... hope to come visit again.

    Wow, wow, wow I realy had a blast We were lucky enough to visit when there is a big performance by Lira, Ringo and black motion. Those who know me well will tell you I not a big fan of ama piano and I am glad I did not have to listen to any of that yesterday. The owner should consider expanding though, we were squashed up, I must say the boys behind the tills are good, by no time we could buy our drinks.

    Vibe was on point, Rands never disappoints. Had to wait for a very long time for the food but other then that, DJ, Vibe was great. Highly recommend this place especially if you looking to have a great night of fun.

    I enjoyed thè braai, the marinade was perfect. Lamb braai was tender and spicy and juicy. The wings were just perfect. The music was less that what I expected. The place is huge but was way overcrowded. Gate security 9/10 rating. All in all I had good time given the company of good friends I was with.

    Pictures are a lie. It's a township vibe. No parking. The pictures are only the vip section the rest is not appealing.

    The place is marvelous. Parking well secured for vehicles. Bouncers are always there to see to it that everything is orderly. There is one thing that I didn't like, they don't weigh the meat you are buying. They look at it and decide that it is worth the amount you bought. That to me is taking people for granted. The fact that they do not weigh your meat means that you don't have a change. They didn't do this before. The place is visited by self respecting people who know what they are there to do. That is why I cannot comprehend this kind of treatment.

    Great place for a night out on a weekend. Please don't come here if you are over 30 years old. You are not the target market. Should you be over 30, kindly come early hours or during the first part of the day and enjoy the food. The moment it gets to 6pm, you have no business still being there. Toilets are clean-ish, food is lovely, the DJ's are on point. It's a great weekend jol!

    Great experience overall. The meat is delicious. The staff could work more on service delivery and efficiency as meat took more than the 1hr they'd anticipated (took about 2 hours).... the bar staff would say there isn't a certain beverage just because they were lazy to go the other end to fetch it (this happened 3 times)

    The vibe is proper, and everything one sees on the Socials and more but imagine having to wait a whole 3 hours just to your food. They need to find a solution for this but overall beautiful establishment

    Rands is awesome for music lovers. Excellent place to go for pap and vleis on a Sunday and dance to the best music. The crowd makes the experience wholesome. I have personally never experienced any violence. Very safe place to relax and unwind with friends. Food and drink prices are reasonable.

    On the 7th of March 2021, Rands opened their doors to the public again and one of the guards at the gate “Siya” kept letting people in although they were saying they’ve reached capacity. It seemed that there were special arrangements being made with some other guy standing next to a car by the gate. Apparently, only those who had booked VIP could be let in. It’s unprofessional behavior and hopefully Rands management will sort it out. It left a very bad taste in my mouth.
