    Waited 35 mins in the drive thru, even though there were only a few cars in the queue, just to get a McFlurry. When we finally made it to the window to order we were told that they didn't have ice-cream available. It then took another 8 minutes to get out of the queue, without having ordered anything, as we had to wait for the single car infront of us to receive their order. How can management allow such terrible turnaround times for a drive thru? They certainly do not offer 'fast' food. We won't be coming back to experience their awful service again.

    Terrible service from the staff, never anyone who wants to assist at the tills all they do is tell you use the self service. I waited in line to get told use the self service immediately after that someone who spoke Zulu came to the counter and was served and gave the cashier their orde. I waited 15min to get 2 Jalapeño dips which could have been given to me in less than a minute because no one is making the sauce from scratch. The drive through experience varies depending who is on shift. It's either this place is understaffed or under pathetic poor management.

    Pretty nice most of the time. During rush hours service is a bit slow, but normally always pleasant to visit! As they recently got revamped, their is a lovely kiddies play area for the kids to play in while they wait for their food. Love this local McDonalds!

    Absolutely disgusted at the drive through service at 704am this morning. You have the wrong staff at the window (female with nose ring) with no etiquette and manners and absolutely no way of speaking to customers. No breakfast menu on display, female staff member inside hand-signaled to me saying they still closed and to use the drive through. “Never mind” placing the order. My kids and I drove to Welgelegen Mcds...way better service all around. I’ve been trying to call the Pinelands store since 710am till now, still no answer phone just rings. I’ve been a patron since 2009 and definitely won’t be back.

    I have ordered food here 4 times. 2/4 was received good but today was really bad. Today I ordered twice. 1st order had no serviettes and ketchup, I had to turn back for those. On both occasions the chips were cold. The 2nd order, which consisted of a grand chicken spicy meal, was received cold and without serviettes. The chicken fillet was dry, it lacked sauce. Oh, did I mention the chips were cold? Think of it, it's winter and the food feels cold, that means it's really cold because the weather temperature is cold too. No long queues were in sight. Please work on efficiency as I had to wait long. I don't think anyone likes to eat with regret because that meal could have easily gone to someone in need. I go to McDonald's because it's reputable, quick and reasonably priced. In future I will never go back. I would like to attach photos of cold food but could one even see the difference???

    Having dined at many McDonald's... Whenever I go here I find the staff that tiny bit less engaging then the others I frequent. Drive thru is generally a little slower then it should be, and on last meal the cheese burger was almost tough and seemed to have been left under heating lamp too long.

    With your new systems in your self service machines it was very confusing to understand where to find the code to scan. Manager just did there staring at me and offered no help whatsoever. When I looked at her for help she turned her back in me. Very disgusted as I am a regular here.

    Tried to order watermelon Mcfizz's, receive a very rude response and were told they were out of stock so we ordered an apple and passionfruit mcfizz. Paid and got to the collection window only to be told they didn't have ice so received our Mcfizz's without ice. I've come to terms with the service of this McDonalds being consistently poor but this is unacceptable

    THE ABSOLUTE WORSE Service in the Western Cape. The ONLY reason why this place is still going is because of the brand name. The Service at this restaurant in Pineland is atrocious. The McDonald's franchise should step in and strip this francisee of its ownership of this specific franchise. There's ALWAYS something wrong with the service or your order when leaving here. The staff flatout refuse to help at the computers where orders are placed. Recently I recieved my nugget sauce in the lid of a takeaway coffee cup without prior warning.

    Zero stars We waited 20 minutes at an open drive through window at 3pm, on a Wednesday. And nobody helped us. There were 5 cars waiting in the line behind us, and one car in front. Nobody got served. McDonald's staff did not care.

    Pathetic... I ordered on the McDonalds app and my order details for the driver never arrived, my order didnt arrive at the time it was set to arrive, the complaint services was contacted via email and the app and was not useful at all and to make matters worst hen the customer service line was called they informed us that our order (after an hour) had not been processed at the McDonalds. This is extremely disappoinying as we always use this McDonald's due to its convenience, and despite previous complaints its clear that they continue to deliver terrible service.

    Overall Rating Excellent. Toilets were cleaned, staff were on the floor assisting customers. Lastly food was fresh and tasty.

    WORST customer service EVER! I spoke with the manager this afternoon and he was so sarcastic and a grin on this face while talking to me. This is disgusting. Apparently their ice machine as been broken for 3 weeks now? Please do something about your manager. That guy doesn't belong in a management role.

    guys stop complaining about anything you get from this store it's not like anyone cares trust me. service is super pathetic I guess the owner train the staff to behaved this way. if there was a negative star 🌟 I'd give the store -10stars. I ordered my breakfast through mcdonald's app. I never got the order nor my money back. 💔

    Went there for quick breakfast take away. Took half an hour to get the food. Coffee ready long before. That was at least drinkable. Had better at other macdonalds. They are more concerned with the scooter delivery services. Was going to do a take away ended up eating there.

    Service was very bad and not satisfactory at all. No ice for cooldrink breakfasts took for ever to make. Ordered caramel coffee and paid for it yet no caramel was added. Ordered coke and got coke lite. Was already back at the office when we opened our breakfasts and no time for an 7 min trip back to this crapoy store

    First time to order at McDonalds Pinelands. No chocolate milkshake available. Unbelievable. Then I read the other reviews and not surprised anymore. Seems to be known for the bad service. And thank you management, I do not want to discuss this further.

    Firstly; this * rating is based on many visits to McDonald's. and secondly, this is not about the food quality; 5 stars ***** for McD's food, we ❤️it. The staff at McDonald's Pinelands are incompetent at managing orders and ensuring that they give customers what they ordered. One of our party humoursly suggested that they all be fired and replaced 🤔. They mess up the orders. Almost.Every.Single.Time. We keep going back because we love the food 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟; but you have to audit what they give you like a hawk, and make sure it actually ties up with what is on the order slip.

    We ordered 2 kids meals only one arrived and was told the driver picked up the missing meal, no sign or a leader in the store. this is the 3rd time in as many orders it has been incorrect or incomplete. So one kid had toast for dinner. Not shopping there again

    The only order board is at the order point, so you'll need to check out the menu online before you arrive to avoid taking forever making your decorating (& so annoying everyone behind you in the queue). The corners are tight, so if you have a long wheel base, be careful not to hit the curb. The intercom system isn't quite up to scratch yet, making it hard to hear the servers. To be honest, I was underwhelmed by the experience.

    McDonalds does not have any muffins at breakfast time. Now we are stuck in the ‘drive-thru’ behind other cars for 30 mins with no way to get out and is full of vagrants. What a terrible experience.

    Very Bad Experience for Me. Ordered Big Mac with NO Cheese but was given with Cheese 🍔, no apology only said "please give back we'll remove it for you". I told them not to remove but make new burger, they were chicky but eventually gave new burger. I also mentioned my Coke which was half full. I was told "didn't you say, NO Ice" I said yes I said so, she said "rule is, no ice, no full cup bcz ice fill up the cup. They were rude, I ended up given my refund cash although I paid with card. Very Rude & unprofessional staff, never going back there ever again with my family 😩😏

    Literally the only drive-thru that I wait nothing less than 30mins to get food! Without fail! It’s not full, service is just plane slow!! No apology when you finally get to receive your order. This is a norm for them I honestly just can’t! Pathetic!! What’s the point of having a drive-thru then?

    Amanda was extremely rude. She Felt the need to be cocky after I pointed out that my order was taken incorrectly, and on top of that, she was shouting over the managers shoulder while I'm trying the get the situation sorted with the manager. Drove us to the point where we left without getting our problem solved.

    i ordered a double cheese burger from Mac Donald's in Pinelands cape town for delivery...in the end i had to drive there myself to take it back as firstly it the wrong order and secondly it looked like someone had sat on the burger. amd then the staff still have the ****** nerve to argue with me saying it the right order while the manager just stands there
