Beautiful place... great for a wedding venue. And you can have family days there with braai and picnic facilities

Had a lovely walk, found some mushrooms, had a cooldrink and nice Snackwich.. all good. Kids enjoyed the playground even though the area was a little dilapidated. Would recommend the beautiful hike through the forest area.

This was a very good hiking trail , pack in some . The view is beautiful 💥👌

4x4 route is was nice for experience and inexperienced drivers. Every obstacles has a chicken run (escape route). Beautiful views all round. Facilities are kept clean. Nice playground for kiddies to enjoy. Only thing I can complain about is that the route is not clearly marked and a little bit to short for the amount paid.

About mtb trails. It was hottest day, we come at 6pm when the farm was closed, but we can ride. We bought a permit in check-box and started. Local trails is scenic, interesting, giving flow. The must place for ride.

Beautiful setting. We did the walk route through the scenic woods, then had toasties and coffee. Rustic and quaint. Also a big play area for kids. Menu is a bit basic but what they serve is delicious!

Great place for outing with kids. Strawberry picking, animals and picnic under the trees. A bit rustic but think that’s what they’re going for.

This was such a surprise. Loved the easy trails, the forest and beautiful dam. Lots of birds, farm animals and playground for children. Needs some maintenance and cleaning around entrance and toilets. Will definitely come again.

Good place to hike, BMX and 4X4. Nice tea garden too with animals and of course strawberries 🍓 Views of False Bay and Helderberg mountain surrounded by vineyards.

Helderberg Farm, offers 4x4 trails, cycling trails and hiking trails which we did. Through the forest to the dam, along the vineyards and up toward the base of the mountain. We're yet to venture to the furthest point, which is 11.5km from the tea garden where we had lovely sandwiches, refreshments and strawberries after our hike. There is a play area for children and animals, they also offer picnic spots and braai areas. Permits required R35 for a hike pp and very detailed information on their site. I saw some trail runners on the way, markings on the trail could be better but if you enjoy nature it's a definite yes. We're respectful and encountered no issues.

This is a real gem of a place, peaceful and everything to bring your soul back to you. We loved it, 1 of the best places I've been and I've been to a lot of places. Well done to the owners you looking extremely well after the place.

Had a lovely hike this morning. Various trails to choose from. They are all clearly marked and the trails are well maintained. The longest hike being 11km's. Beautiful, peaceful & quiet. You can purchase the permits inside the restaurant on the day. Also amazing trails for mountain bike riding. We had some toasted sandwiches & drinks after our hike and they were yummy! There is a garden nursery as well as a few farm animals to entertain the kids. We had fun on a stunning Saturday morning & will certainly be back to try all the other trail routes. I highly recommended you visit them. 😀

Oh my word, this hidden gem is amazing. Had a wonderful belated and surprise Women's Day lunch with colleagues, thanks guys. Not only is the place amazing, the atmosphere and service was tops. Am sure in summer it is absolutely the go to place. The food was delicious by the way 😆. Keep it up

It's lovely and great places to have friends and family.. their animal farm though is not much to brag about, but that baby goat is toooo adorable..

Super special spot! Great for the whole family. Kids can play in the petting zoo and run in the woods while moms have tea and scones in the garden and dad has super amazing time on the gnarly trails on offer. Bit of a grunt to get to the top but great fun down!

Very chilled place. Birds, goats, rabbit, and many other animals for the kids to watch. There is also a walk path trail that whole family can enjoy. The infrastructure for people that needs special care is not that nice, and they could improve. However it is a place to braai, spend time with family and friends and rest. I will be back there for sure!

Great mountain bike trails. Blue, red and black options on the downhill. You can choose trail, full enduro or even DH specific routes that will be a riot. Definitely worth the climb to the top. Also challenging 4x4 route, and scenic hiking. Lekker braai facilities and a basic, but neat farm shop that sells fresh produce, including fresh strawberries picked on the farm.

A must visit for all 4 x 4 and outdoor nature enthusiasts - the blue route for the less experienced and the red route for the more seasoned 4 x 4 wheelers. You can order light meals and there are also braai facilities available and a play park for the little ones.
