It seems like everyone knows this place already - a real Cape Town experience. The food is not pretty, but is always tasty. I don’t think the burgers are as big as they used to be, but they are very tasty. I always think the stars of the show are the meat samosas - crispy, hot and delicious. There is always a wait, and it’s usually busy, but the food is hot, filling and impossible to resist. Go with an appetite, and get a take out for the family!

Their food is high quality and delicious. Service tends to be slow, but this is an iconic Cape Town experience.

Im seriously sick of the front line servers. How do you get an order 5 times in a row incorrect. How incompetent must this staff be. I was there last night and explained she got my order wrong. Kasam she turns her back and does the same thing. How?? Tonight again Nothing is right. I dont think the staff can read kasam. I have no other answer for this

Couldn't believe I waited 1 hour for the most mediocre hotdog I've ever had. Disappointed with the quality of food as it does not match the high price. Will definitely not recommend going here as there are far better fast foods around.

Occasionally I pop in for something to eat at Wembleys when I'm in the area. A bit more pricy, and sometimes just a bit too busy to grab something quickly. The food doesn't disappoint though, so I'll probably be back!

The service definitely needs to be improved. Wembley has a good reputation, so visitors come to support, however there's always a very long waiting time (even for phone callers)! We received cold food recently, after having waited over an hour for our food.

Was there last nite but ended up being disappointed 😞 paid R129 for a prawn roti but wasn't worth my money could count the prawns on it also they can atleast add some chips on it,there chillie pops was terrible, burgers not Tikka flavor at all....there falooda the only thing that's worth your money

Always disappointed with service here.unless you stand at the counter and act like Karen there's a good possibility of your order getting overlooked.Do you really need to wait 25 mins for a Wembley whopper which is their signature line and then they forget the second item which was a small chips.

Wasn't that busy and I find that the food is prepared much better when it isn't so busy. So the food was tasty and fresh. The service was a bit slow and the wait rather long. Overall a good experience this time.

The food is excellent with mouthwatering flavours, the quantity is fantastic and the prices affordable. The service at the car order section needs to be monitored as the waiter forgot to place my order causing me to wait almost an hour for my food. I would still highly recommend this roadhouse.

Waiting times and lines have become something of a nightmare (likely on account of the popularity) - you're best advised to phone ahead with your order. Food isn't anything out of this world, but never disappoints either. There's a lovely seating area (though with limited space) behind the roadhouse, with some basic seating out front.

Been away for 18 years in NZ but felt right at home in SA after a " lamb salomi " Filled all the right spots the refreshment garden was a nice touch. Also providing ample safe parking next level awesome.

Extremely busy but definitely worth the wait. Only had the dessert here but it was so good that we visited almost every night of our stay in CT. Beautiful gardens to sit and eat in or watch the kids on the playground. Salaah facilities and clean bathrooms.

Place is a beautiful vibey place, the service is abit slow and bad, waited almost a hour for samosas, chicken rolls and milkshakes, place is always full, I'm not sure if more staff is needed, but they definitely need to work on how to speed up the preparation of the food, it's ridiculous to wait that long.

Still one of the best places to get food from. They have a wide variety of food, from chips to curries to family dishes. Money well worth spent here. Waiting time might suck but good food takes time to be made, so order a few snacks while waiting for your order or order over the phone. You won't regret it

This is definitely a place to go if you want to have an enjoyable meal. Highly recommended by many, including myself. It is a halal establishment but frequented by all. There is ample parking. The food working area is clean and you can view part of the preparation. Try it if you have not done so yet.

First time trying Wembleys. Masala burger could of been hotter and seeing it a "whopper", was the size of a rave burger. Definitely will try some other dishes next time.

Long waiting time. Ordered Tandoori chicken sandwich and Tandoori chicken burger, what a disappointment. Tasted like a chicken mayo sandwich, nothing Tandoori about the food. The food quality has really gone down. Will not return again Wembley, thanks for wasting my time and money!
