My boyfriend took me out to The Hussar Grill for a surprise lunch on my 30th birthday. We got cocktails to start, which were delicious. Our lunch consisted of a starter and a main course - this cost only R145 per person! All of the food was yummy and really good value for money. I would definitely recommend visiting if you want to feel fancy but not spend an unreasonable amount of money.

Best Service! Food presentation and flavors out of this world! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants. They consistently the best in what they do! Go visit to experience the food, vibe, huge wine selection and beautiful atmosphere.

We booked online. On arrival we were immediately taken to our table and offered drinks. They brought complimentary, tasty homemade crisps and delicious olives. Our starters were great and we enjoyed our meals. Great music and atmosphere. The Choc Vodka Martinis were really good and we would go again.

Delicious, good food. Great atmosphere with a lovely fireplace warming the dining area. It’s a treat to eat here, and we thoroughly enjoyed every morsel, from the snails and steak tartar to the sirloin on the bone and ribs. The staff are knowledgeable and made us really feel comfortable. We had a tremendous time and will go back for every special occasion!

Found my new favourite steakhouse. Got what I asked for which was great. Steak is melt in your mouth. Friendly service and awesome steaks. Well done and thank you for an awesome lunch

Food: Generous portion, filling, flavourful Service: Excellent, waiters gives exceptional client service. Did not wait long for anything at all and this while the restaurant was packed. Ambience: Perfect setting especially for their date night special.

I'm extremely disappointed. Had the Rib eye with bone marrow,medium rare. Meat was so tough that it was difficult to chew. R400 for the meal,ridiculously overpriced for the quality. My wife had a chateaubriand, and it was OK at best. The Crème brulee comes in a 3cm radius ramican for around R80,again very overpriced and not worth it at all.

Lovely experience. Quick and easy service as well as friendly! Had a steak and death by chocolate for dessert. Steak prepared to perfection. Dessert was a bit too much (bitter and sweet mix?) for my taste, but was already full when halfway through steak still finished it all. 4 stars, expensive. but I don't feel a big difference in atmosphere or food as why it is so expensive.

We celebrated my fiance's birthday. I phoned the day prior to make the reservation. When we arrived the table had a birthday card and a few snacks already prepared for her. Our waiter was awesome and very friendly. All staff were friendly. And helpful. Will highly recommend The Hussar Grill Durbanville to all my friends and family.

Food is absolutely delicious. We were a table of four and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, made to perfection. If you are looking for a treat, this certainly is a great option. We had a fantastic evening and will definitely be back.

Fried Crumbed Camembert to share (were specially cut for each person) Bitterballen (6 per serving) Bone Marrow Rump (185g) Crème Brûlée All fantastic choices. Steak was done as per request. Each bite just melted away, portion is small, but enjoy some of the starters. No one needs to roll out the door. Had a bite of the Death by Chocolate, that is a winner if you have a sweet tooth. Attentive and friendly service. Easy to reserve a table online. No corkage fee.

Just superb chef and the service with a smile 😃 😊 and the exceptional feeling of welcome and being wined and dined 🍽 and treated to a booth with cosy warm atmosphere while listening 🎶 to great music having best starters and main course prepared was delightful. What an amazing dinner we had for our anniversary date night. Food was superb, Robby our waiter was awesome as was the hostess who was very attentive and made sure we were happy and comfortable at all times. Will definitely be back.

I had the best service in a while from the moment i walked it the have greeted me with great attitude and after a long day that puts a smile on your face. A waiter helped me once I was seated and the manager came to me introduced himself and asked if I’m there for a meeting and asked if there is anything that he can bring during the meeting. I have found this super professional and have most definitely exceeded my expectations. Well done and keep it up. The waiter also knew all the information about the stakes and different cuts I had a rump and was perfectly cooked nice and tender.

Hussar grill is known for its excellence and hospitality, and wow they did not disappoint! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, service is fast ( even when busy ) and the food is incredible ! They reminded me again what fine dining really is !!! You can’t get better than this !

Brilliant new restaurant. Good decor and service as received from other Hussar franchise stores. Excellent service and no corkage is charged. The lunch menu from 12 to 5 is a great deal at R130. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful meal to celebrate my birthday. Cynthia had excellent ribs and I had a fabulous lamb shank with mashed potatoes. Impeccable service . We will go again. And I heartily recommend this place to others.

Excellent!! It is always a pleasure to dine at Hussar's Grill. Best food in town and great service. Did their Date Night special and as always wasn't disappointed. Great value for money. Safe and secure parking, attentive waiter. We are regulars and it just keeps on getting better. A 5-star experience from start to finish. O...did I mention the cappuccino...great end to the evening. We will be back (again and again!)
