The food here is great and the staff are very friendly. Don't order coffee if it is busy, because you'll be waiting for it for a while. There is a great play area for kiddies and the toilets are clean and neat. Breakfast is served until 16:00.

Three words: Vegan Chocolate Cake 😍💫🙌😭 Oh my word! I’m a huge fan of brownies, lava cake, chocolate cake - but this one is life changing. If you haven’t been planning to come to Cafe Roux, come for the cake! 100% the best one you’ll have in CT if not even in your life 😂 not kidding. A slice of warm, gooey, not too sweat goodness - Thank me later, you are welcome! 👑

Highly recommend the salmon breakfast. Simple but delicious. Cappuccinos are good too. Vibe is warm and cosy inside (cold day) place is almost always packed and it humms. I believe the evenings get somewhat festive with live bands. Great local establishment 👌🏼

There are not enough words to say about this piece of heaven. I could literally not choose as there were way too many items I wanted to taste. Pure artistry... I could sit and stare at those desserts for hrs and still not be able to figure out how it was made... Such welcoming friendliness from the staff.... But man oh man could I not just be there in the cnr watching these artists at work? What an amazing place... Please do get a croissant of some sorts... It will leave u at a loss for words

Fantastic plant based meal (I had the B Leaf Burger with lentil burger and sweet potato fries) and my friend had the butternut salad. Both were amazingly good and only superceded by the excellent service from Loyal and the restuarant manager Vincent. Did raise the concern about the plastic straws though. That aside, a great experience which leans to a follow up visit for sure. 👌😁

In five minutes they managed to make us two of the best pizzas in our lives. And it is in a stunning setting. I wish that we weren't so rushed on our tour, but Cafe Roux made it happen!

Lovely for children, especially those under 5 years old. Food was good and service decent. Lovely setting, plenty parking and places to visit. Plan around LoadShedding as some of the shops/ vendors could not operate during LoadShedding. Jungle gym is a bit high for 3year olds and under, so be prepared to stand inside kids play area most of the time supervising your kids as they don’t have childminders.

We decided to visit Café Roux at the Noordhoek Farm Village for brunch and overall we had a good time. The restaurant was very busy, however we managed to find a nice big table for our group close to the big kids play area. They have a pretty big menu so you are guaranteed to find something you will enjoy. I had the Full Monty breakfast which really hit the spot and the other guests also really enjoyed their meals. It is good to note they also have a good kids menu available. Overall we had a good experience, however the service was a bit lack-lustre. Café Roux seems to be a popular spot and I saw some advertisements for live shows in the bathroom so if you are in the area maybe give them a google to see if they have anything going on for when you are planning to visit.

Shhhhh! Let's listen to the music. Yes, indeed. This is one of the top venues for live music in Cape Town and the focus is on the artists. We attended the launch of Laurie Levine's new EP, Dunes, as guests of visitors from Switzerland. They were really impressed and had a very good evening. Wren Hinds started the evening, followed by Laurie and Jak Tomas. The music was fabulous! The food was tasty, well priced, and portions a good size. The layout works really well for the performance. The waitrons were kept busy, but always responsive. Excellent sound engineering and lighting. Every music lover should make it a priority to support this venue and the musicians who perform there regularly!

The Cafe by itself was ok. Service a bit patchy, but good staff. The entertainment from Wonderboom have it that extra star. They always just ROCK. Absolutel Legends.

What a gem! Loved the little village atmosphere! Faith, our waiter, was such a treat and made the experience even better! She reccomende the lemon meringue and chocolate cake to go with oir delicious coffe. Oh my word! It was simply to die for! Definately going back there again to sample more of the menu!

I’m in love with this place,,, best coffee, best staff, best cocktails, and yet affordable… a must visit when in Noordhoek… The place often have lots of events, and I was lucky to be able to watch Jack Parrow’s live show 😀

The food is incredibly tasty and the viby atmosphere is family friendly. If you like chicken livers…theirs is the best ever! I also appreciated that the tea was hot.

There are enough parking lots (many people on weekends), small shops, coffee and ice cream shops, and restaurants around children's play areas, so it's good to be with children.

Went for a 3 course new years eve dinner. Great food but their beers are pretty overpriced. Friendly waiters and barmen, good selection of drinks, fairly fancy food as well and everything tastes quite fresh, which is definitely a win for me. They had live music which was quite fun and handed out a free glass of bubbles to everyone who booked the function. A lunch visit is also nice as the setting is very pretty in quiet little noordhoek. Would recommend

We had a lovely afternoon sitting in the sunny shade under the oak trees. Our waitress was very friendly and recommended the crunchy butternut salad - it did not disappoint!

We have done many shows at Cafe Roux and they usually so on the ball The band tonight was great and the food was good but the service was sadly lacking - and not up to their usual standard Got drinks quite quickly in arrival but then took an hour before anyone came back for food orders - and only after I had to politely demand service or take my business elsewhere

Pet friendly!!🙌 As we are for dogs. Upon arrival receives water bowl for our furries. Friendly staff, good food!
