Very nice beach with the Vista of table mountain's twelve apostles. Right by the road so there are cafes to get some lunch or drinks, but there are salespeople selling ice-cream Anne sidas on the beach too! Parking is an issue though and by the end of the day the massive amount of sunbathers leave the beach quite messy.

This beach is a five star. It is surrounded by top restaurants for incredible eating experiences, and all the while flanked by the breathtaking view of the Table mountain range. The beach is a hub of activity in busy times and waves here dont disappoint. It is also located with super easy access to public transport, making it easy to get to and from here. It can get crazy crowded and top peak times, hence you should be prepared.

Beautiful clean, smooth white sandy beach with crisp, crashing Atlantic waves and the 12 apostles mountains plus lions head as backdrop... Stunning. Safe but cold swimming with lifeguards patrolling. Loungers and umbrellas available with polite hawkers selling drinks, etc. Strip of good coffee shops, restaurants and bars easily accessible too. Highly recommended!

Camps Bay beach in Cape Town is a breathtakingly beautiful spot that is perfect for spending a relaxing day in the sun. The sandy beach stretches out for miles and is surrounded by towering mountains and crystal clear blue water. The atmosphere is always lively and fun, with plenty of people playing beach games or enjoying a swim in the sea. One of the best things about Camps Bay beach is the abundance of great restaurants and bars that are located right on the beach. You can enjoy a refreshing drink or a delicious meal while watching the sunset over the ocean. The seafood is especially fresh and tasty, with many of the restaurants offering locally caught fish and other seafood dishes. The sunset at Camps Bay beach is truly a sight to behold. As the sun starts to set, the sky turns a beautiful shade of orange and pink, and the sea reflects the vibrant colors of the sunset. It's the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature. Overall, Camps Bay beach is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Cape Town. Whether you're looking to relax on the beach, enjoy a meal or drink, or simply take in the stunning sunset, there's something for everyone at Camps Bay beach.

Cold water and unpredictable weather but the place is clean and well-kept. We had loads of fun as a bonus everyone was friendly and Covid-19 conscious.

What a beautiful spot. This beach is wonderful and the restaurants along the strip are amazing! The area is safe to walk around but also keep you things in your pockets and do be too flashy. It can get a bit windy so always carry a jumper.

If you enjoy different company of people the Saturday is the best time for, from all walk the beach is filled with vibrant and beautiful scenery and Sunday is more calm relaxing time. Parking is always a struggle. Never leave the mother city without coming to camps bay

Very Beautiful. Very dangerous swimming location. Water is polluted with sewerage waste and rip current is always present. Very close to some of Cape Towns most trendiest venues

It was great. We had fun. There are a number of restaurants and ice cream shops across the road from the beach. There are hawkers though.

What's not to love about the Camps Bay Beach... I got to experience this white sand beach by chance, a flight that was meant to be a morning one was moved to late afternoon which gave me a few hours to kill. Thanks to my shuttle who strongly recommended it for me I coerced a colleague to pay it a visit. Best decision. A welcome change from the cold and rocky Sea Point. The views were amazing. Pity we couldn't sample what the many restaurants offered due to time limitations but we know we'll be back for a proper visit.

I have to give 5 étoiles. Amazing. I'd dream to live there. You can to muscular build for free, walk safely, diner, and there are schools. A natural swimming pool.

World famous Camps Bay is being spoilt by the hawkers being allowed to loiter and harass tourists by constantly asking you to buy their products and doing their washing and drying it right on the beach. We did not feel safe and after repeated requests "for support, madam" stayed close to the road for a quick exit.

One of the most beautiful beaches! You can see the mountains from the beach too. There are restrooms if needed. Bars and restaurants are also just across the street. Great place to watch sunset. Nice soft sand but cold waters! We unfortunately saw a whale shark washed up while we were there.

Beautiful place! The sand is silky and white! The rocks are beautiful! The water is clean (cold but refreshing). Wonderful views to signal Hill and the twelve apostles. Stay here and uber into Cape Town central. I stayed at vetho villa 220m from the beach! Such a great place! Lots of restaurants along the waterfront too.

Beautiful safe beaches and with easy access to great bars/restaurants. Lifeguards and police presence during busy periods. Waves can be strong so be careful when swimming.

Easy access for taxis and buses to drop off ANC and EFF voters. One moment you are enjoying yourself, next moment they arrive to litter and soil the beach. Durban 2.0

Just like something out a magazine behind you have the back of table mountain and to the front you have the sand and sea it's a perfect place to visit even on a cold but clear day with all the modern cafes, bars and restaurants looking out to the sea front surrounded by beautiful houses and fantastic people. If you are visiting for a day at the beach please take minimum belongings as there are people whom walk up and down the beach to sell items who are very persistent sadly, but the security is great.

If you are visiting Cape Town, you must enjoy a sunset at Camps Bay. There’s nothing like the sun setting across the ocean while it’s last light dances along the mountains across. It was so beautiful that I was emotional!

Beautiful view, lovely beach and accessible restaurants. It gets very busy on weekends and the roads get a lot of traffic. Waste pollution from beach goers is a concern.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful beach, but busier. Because it has many restaurants and bars, it becomes a point for those who like it. It is not my favorite to enjoy the beach itself. (Original) Uma praia linda, mas mais movimentada. Por ter muitos restaurantes e bares, se torna um point para quem gosta. Não é minha preferida para curtir a praia em si.

Had an okay time at The Bay Hotel pop up cafe, was a little strange when we arrived and there was no one to acknowledge us, take our temperature and what not, but it was an over all pleasant time.

👍 Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon with the family. Fresh ocean smell, warm breeze and a relaxed easy atmosphere make this a great place to walk, skate, cycle, jog or just sit and pass time on a bench or the grass. Perfect for people watching for those who enjoy that. Not too pleasant on a cold...
